I too have no infor that the book would be an ebook. Communicated with my credit card company to stop the transaction so we will see. I sent a inquiry to Seedorock to cancel and that my review would reflect their cooperation. Will add to this rewiew after I hear back from them.

Does not let you return or tell you a title is an ebook. No returns even if you don’t download! Scam!

My experience was the same. There was no communication that my book was an ebook, and after no communication for 20 days, I finally learned this. They refuse to give a refund. A complete scam of a company.

Fraud scam business beware. Advertise hardback book and get a ebook. Absolutely avoid disgusting business.

Purchased a book, was billed Dec. 29, 2023 and have not received book as of Jan. 22, 2024. Unable to reach this business and have not received any replies to my emails via their "contact" form. The "Seedorock" phone number on my credit card statement takes me into a PayPal doom loop, without resolution.

I recently was trying to find a book to purchase and was lead to the Seedorock website. I found the book I was looking for and it included in the description that delivery was available for my area. After checkout, I received a link to download the book as an ebook. I emailed their support team as I was seeking out a physical copy of the book and NOTHING on the description stated it was an ebook. They emailed me back days later saying no refunds for ebooks. I then sent another email urging them to reconsider since again, nothing on the website stated it was an ebook. In the email I also included screenshots from their website and of course it’s been several days and I’ve still received no reply. Beware! And thanks for nothing Seedorock.

I bought a book from this company online, and they claim I bought a digital download. Nope! Complain to BBB and maybe someday, they will be put out of business.

Seedorock does not specify in their ads that the sale is for digital reading only. They just sell you a link. There is no refund policy or exchange possible for a hardcover book. This advertiser is a true SCAM artist.

I also thought I was ordering a used book but instead was sent a link for a digital copy. It is a scam, and they do not call back.

ripoff. As many people here state, advertise hardcover with free shipping but then sends email with link to download a pdf copy. False, cheating spam artists.

Scam. They advertise they are sending a physical book, then send you a download of a digital copy and don't offer refunds. They did Email me back within 24 hours with a different storefront name. BUYER BEWARE!

Seedorock leads you to believe you are ordering a hardcover book (e.g., it requires your mailing address, has a link for tracking your order, and FAQs speak to shipping times). What you get when you place your order is a PDF copy of the book that you can print out. The book I ordered is over 700 pages--it willl cost me $50 in ink to print it out and I don’t want to read on 8.5” x11” paper!

Total SCAM. Do not purchase anything from this company.
False advertising. Phone number is useless.
Zero customer service.

Seedorock is a scam company. They charge low prices for a book then don’t deliver it. They told me they had a check of mine and could cancel when I complained. I paid by credit card not check. Then I got an email like other people who complained saying I could download the book but there was no pdf. I they make money because it takes lots of work to get your credit and because the price is low, most people don’t want to go through the effort to fight them. The company should be shut down.

Deceptive sales practices. Ordered a physical hardcover book with free shipping. Turns out it's a Pdf file you download. Who downloads a a 401 page book? Requested refund and was told no refund for digital goods. They never indicated this was a digital book.

If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered a book for a book club 9/25. Never received. Sent email inquiry with no response, then gave a phone inquiry with no response. My credit card company refunded my purchase, not Seedorock. So disappointed. I chose a different company for the next month's book club and received right away. Awful experience.

It's not possible here to give this company zero stars and that's a shame, because that's what they deserve. Buyer beware!

This company advertises books as being a physical copy with shipping charges. I paid for a book and received a download. When I asked for a refund, I was told to get lost. Nowhere on their ad does it indicate you’re purchasing a digital download. I saw numerous complaints for this issue on the BBB website

I order the physical book I saw on the Seedorock website. The book has 700 pages. There was reference in the listing for shipping time frame so I certainly didn’t expect to receive a link to download, yes print, the 700 page book myself which is useless to me.This site is misleading and defrauds the customer. If this happens to you, call your credit card company and ask them to do a fraud investigation. They may even give you a refund. Seedorock doesn’t answer the phone or emails. Also complain to the BBB. These people need an army to fight them down.
