Wish I did it sooner! Goodbye high energy bills and condensation, hello savings and peace! The window paid for it self in energy savings as I haven’t put heating in that room since installing it. Yes I do have to put dehumidifier for few hours in the morning but it’s still cheaper, no condensation on the window and and added benefit noise reduction from outside if neighbour having a barbecue or a party. Much happier to invest in my property than energy companies shareholders profits.
Useful tip: the bigger the gap between the window and secondary glazing the higher the benefit. Use all available depth!

Overall a very good service, and quick and easy to install

This is a great product; easily measured, ordered and installed by a 5ft woman. This is my second order. The first was for a glass door. This was for the dining room windows and french doors. Once installed, it has really made a difference. Company delivered the order very promptly. I will be doing the living room next. 5 stars.

I’ve used secondarydiyglazing several times and they have been very efficient and helpful. On one occasion when I made a mistake with my measurements someone rang me to check, which I meant I measured again and realised my mistake. I was very grateful!

The secondary glazing kit was easy to assemble with clear instructions and if you take some time it can be installled to look like a very professional job.
I would check the edge strip lengths required once you have cut one mitre rather than just relying on the measurements given as there can be small differences but not a problem.

Good quality materials and fast delivery.

The delivery of the order was very rapid, and the glazing was exactly cut to the requested size. Packaging was excellent. I'd over-ordered on the magnetic tape (not having realised that tape also came with the glazing) but the excess will be useful. Installation was pretty straightforward and the videos on the web site were immensely helpful. I couldn't cut the mitres as perfectly as in the demonstration, and installation of glazing on the sash windows was not quite as easy for me as shown on the videos, but everything is up and doing pretty well in terms of improved insulation (and definite noise reduction too). Condensation on cold days has been an issue, but I think all secondary glazing suffers from this. The main issue is that the sticky tape does not stick to my somewhat uneven and old window frames as well as I'd like. Sometimes when I take down the glazing sheets, the tape comes off too. Hmmm, maybe the over-order of tape was a good idea after all. Finally, I've needed to add extra screws to make sure some of the sheets stay in place (they were large 4mm sheets, so pretty heavy), possibly because of the problem with the tape referred to above.

The products arrived quickly; well packaged and good quality. The team were very patient and explained potential pitfalls. The glazing was relatively easy to install but does need a level of diy experience particularly in mitring the corners of the conversion kits if the glazing is going into a reveal. The glazing does work well in what was a draughty Edwardian kitchen with beautiful original sash windows.

I installed one SecondaryDIYGlazing panel to a window of our 18th century cottage late summer 2022 and was so impressed I decided to install the system on my other five windows in October, three with Superglaze and two with Magnetglaze Pro and the Magnetglaze Sash addition. Having now endured the worst of the winter months I can report that the performance of all these secondary glazing systems have been outstanding! No more window condensation, great sound insulation and the whole house is warmer. The sash window system is great, allowing easy access to open the windows when required without any degradation of performance.
Fantastic customer service also - there was a small issue with my order which was immediately rectified via a quick phone call. Highly recommended product from a fantastic company!

This is a great product and service. I haven't fitted polycarbonate secondary glazing before and am amazed at the great results. It cuts down drafts from my sash windows and much reduces heat loss. Easy to fit if you watch the company's videos a few times. Lightning quick dispatch. Highly recommended.
