Diese Buchung war mit Location AIRPORT versehen.
Dass man manchmal einen Shuttle benötigt ist zwar mühsam aber im Regelfall vorab und in den Unterlagen ersichtlich.
Bei dieser Buchung war nicht klar, dass es zum Anmietzeitpunkt KEINEN shuttle geben würde und dem KUNDEN (!) Taxikosten in Aussicht gestellt werden.
Ich musste sowohl bei Abholung als auch bei Rückgabe rd. 10€ aufwenden um zum Flughafen zu gelangen, das ist nicht in Ordnung.
Nach Rückgabe ausserhalb der sehr eingeschränkten Öffnungszeiten (-17h?) erfolgt auch keine Bestätigung der einwandfreien Rückgabe.
Dass das Fahrzeug 10-15 Jahre alt und sehr abgenützt war und darüber hinaus eine sehr hohe KM-Zahl aufwies sei auch noch erwähnt.

We hired a car from this company during December for a total of 14 nights. When I called to collect the vehicle the man that served me in their shed of an office made so many mistakes checking the car out that I actually wondered if he knew what he was actually doing. (Do not be fooled by the photos of the fancy photo of the office at the airport-the City branch is seriously a dump!)
We paid in total $3k (inc booking fees/insurance etc) for the hire of the vehicle. We drove down to Mt Maunganui and the car just about made it over the Ranges. The car was a 2005, had 270k km on the clock and one of the rear doors did not open. Upon phoning the man to advise I was not happy with the vehicle and ask for a replacement (we were due to drive to Northland and were doubtful the car would make it), his exact words were 'Look I don't want any whinging, bring it back and I will refund you as I don't have a replacement.'
We then had to change our plans/accommodation (we have 4 kids so could not rent another car in such a short space of time) and booked to stay in the city instead, as we had no other way of getting there. He knew the day we were returning the car and made himself scarce, telling me rudely on the phone to 'leave it and post the keys' refusing to discuss the promised refund. We didn't trust him in doing this so took the vehicle with us. We were then contacted by his wife (presume Anne is his wife) and we advised her that we were going to take the car for a COF (certificate of fitness) and all of a sudden they had a replacement vehicle for us, by which time we had already changed our plans and stayed put in Auckland. We were then offered a refund minus the booking fees (we booked through a 3rd party) which we ended up taking.
The lady I dealt with was a lot more reasonable than the extremely rude man (I wouldn't go as far to call him a gentleman) but she kept telling me she was busy with her grandchildren-quite frankly I wasn't interested as we had paid a ridiculous amount of money for a trip that was totally ruined by the car hire.
I was advised by the man (in one of his rude conversations) that there was a 'knack' to open the door, but I am sure that the emergency services didn't know the 'knack' had there been an emergency and they needed to get one of my children out from the vehicle.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR HOLIDAY RUINED.
