Ruxstons is an independent coffee shop and organic food store in Wellington, Somerset. We have a wide range of organic produce, wholefoods, and locally produced meats. Amongst our isles, you will also find some unique luxury goods you don’t find in a supermarket, with many of these coming from local artisan producers. We also house a relaxing coffee shop using beans from Coast & Moor in Barnstable, a strong arabica coffee with a powerful flavour, this is great alongside our choice of cakes and selection of savouries. Our hand stretched pizzas are made in house and served everyday from lunchtime, using ingredients many of which are available in our shop. Shopping at Ruxstons is a journey of discovery to find quality, authentic foods.

I visited Ruxstons for the first time today, and it won't be the last. I met a friend there for coffee, and the cafe staff were friendly, efficient, and the coffee was lovely. I then had a look around the shop, not intending to buy anything, but came away with a bag full as its such lovely stuff.
For anyone who leaves a negative review on here, I'm really not sure why as it's faultless. Thank you team!

I’ve always supported this independent shop and cafe, but after today's experience, neither I nor my family will be returning. My mother and young daughter were refused the ability to eat a simple children's snack—something as small as three party rings. Imagine taking food away from a baby and then expecting customers to endure the inevitable upset that follows.
When questioned, staff claimed that this was standard practice elsewhere, which is simply not true. To make matters worse, when my mum no longer felt comfortable staying, they refused to refund her coffee.
This place has always been a valued part of the local community, but enforcing a rigid policy at the expense of common sense and customer experience has completely changed our view. Such a shame.
Where to begin with how excellent this online order for 10 pkts of 100% grassfed mince beef and 6x13 pasture raised eggs from Ruxstons has been!
The website is so easy to navigate and is very transparent as to where the produce is sourced from.It tells you the farm, feed and lifestyle of the animals, something which is of utmost importance to me .Not many websites offer such extensive detail.
Then whoever packaged my two parcels deserves a medal and a big thank you!The meat arrived in what seemed a freezer in a cardboard box and was still completely frozen when it arrived at my doorstep. The box was lined with insulation material and then filled with ice packs to surround every part of my meat packs.
The egg parcel was so carefully and expertly packaged that not a single egg was damaged.....and all this free of charge as my order was over £90.I am used to paying between £12 to £18 for orders like this from other online farms and then a considerable amount of eggs being damaged and the meat warm let alone frozen.
As for the meat and eggs ...they simply can't be compared in flavour and quality with those bought from a supermarket.
I am such a happy customer , will of course be ordering again in the future and can highly recommend Ruxstons.
Absolutely amazing goat meat. Getting actual goat meat which is not ex dairy is hard but to find one 100% grass fed is even better and it did not disappoint! A+
