Bought a pair of Ruffwear dog boots as my dog has a foot injury. These boots are great, she can still function normally. Bit more pricey than other types I have tried but at least these stay on and she doesn't do 'the funny walk'

Absolutely would not recommend. Refund is non existent even though their website states you can return products within 30 days!
The truth is that they ask you to contact their customer service and when you do so no one responds - you chase and chase and still no response !!! I think the next step would be to report this fraudulent company to the ombudsman!

Both my Blue Quin Heeler and my friend's Red Sydney Heeler have worn Ruff Wear Web Master harnesses for several years, beginning as soon as they grew into them. We run them with a golf cart on dirt roads and hayfields and woods for 5-10 miles each morning. They are off-leash most of the run. When they are tethered to the golf cart, they love to pull as they trot and gallop. There are at least two places they can access a stream. Back at the horse farm they love to swim in the natural pond. Lately, the harnesses continue to be sound, but the color has faded. Quin wears a blue and Sydney wears the red. Since I am an acrylic artist/painter, I put a layer of acrylic paint in designs so neither dog would be mistaken for a deer and shot at. The acrylic paint is slowly wearing off. A second coat of paint will soon be needed, but the harnesses themselves continue to be sturdy.

I brought the webmaster harness for my rescue dog after she slipped her old harness and we spent 5 long cold hours in a field trying to get her back. This harness is totally escape proof and has given me peace of mind that she's safe on our walks again, something that I can't put a price on. She's still very nervous and we've had incidents where she's been spooked but with his harness I have complete control to keep her safe. It fits my dog well, seems comfy and robust. I'm so thankful that I found this product and recommended to anyone.

Just bought a Ruffwear Dog Collar…it’s absolutely garbage. Cheap materials have used, yet it was over £30. It will be sent back immediately.
I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY. Complete waste of time.

Ordered two harnesses from them as I couldn’t find them locally to try anywhere and after carefully trying both on my dog contacted them to send one back.

At this stage everything went ok and the return was approved no issue. Paid for the postage to send back and awaited my refund. This is where the problem has hit.

Ruffwear have decided to (for no known reason as they have not contacted me) to refund me £14.10 less for the one harness than what I paid.

Will not be using their website again and certainly will be avoiding their products in future unless I can find them to try on first. Poor service.

Terrible customer service. I had a faulty product and contacted them with full information and photos. When spending almost £50 on a dog lead you expect it to be good quality.
Took ages to respond and when they did it was a copy & paste fob off email. This company has veered so far away from its ethos and origins it’s sad to see it’s turned into just another corporate fat cat with zero interest in quality control and customer service.

I bought the product from Mountain Dog we bought the lead and harness. The lead has frayed within two weeks. Apparently it’s really robust!!! Also they won’t give us a refund as they are saying the dog has chewed it which is not true. Not happy at all.

Brilliant sturdy well designed harness lovely colour and happy that 5% goes to Max 🧡🧡

We have purchased ruffwear harnesses since our baby was 8 weeks old, we only recently purchased a cheaper brand back in march because he was sizing up constantly, and it broke at the chest piece :( so i bit the bullet and bought the ruffwear flagline harness, it is THE BEST. such a perfect fit and has 6 adjustment points, very easy to figure out how to adjust them :) wont look anywhere else! the flagline harness is great for dogs with longer bodies such as greyhounds ect. the price is a bit crazy but it is worth it.

ordered boots for a long trek based on reviews - uk purchase. one pair needs e hanging and I was surprised with the customer service I received - i contacted ruff wear via their web form and got zero response. i called twice and there was nobody to answer the phones as i got the message saying the offices are closed even though it was after 9 am. I called again and was told a reference nupmber and address. i asked them to explain an exchange process as i need to exchange. nothing was explained - Instead I was told to return the boots at my cost and then order new ones again and pay postage again!! With he the prices I am paying I would
expect the customer service people to be available at the hours they say they are and to be able to exchange product easily without ruffwear making even more money by me paying postage three times in effect - one on original order, one for return, one for reorder since they do not do exchanges. extremely disappointed

Got the Ruffwear dog harness and it's not cheap. It looks well put together but it's got a fault on the top with the metal tag being connected via a piece of material that wears away very quickly. So I thought give them a chance and spent another £40.00 on a replacement and surprise surprise it went the same way. So £80.00 down I have since found a lot of pictures of this defect and Ruffwear are still selling this product.

Bought (an expensive) front range harness for our whippet and it rubbed her under the armpits so bad it broke the skin and made her extremely sore. The harness is made from very "ruff" material and not suitable for those with sensitive skin (such as whippets). The company expressed concern but didn't want to do anything about it. We do NOT recommend this product

We bought a Ruffwear flatline harness 6 months ago as the extra belly strap gave us confidence our anxious dog wouldn't wiggle out of it - this has happened too often with harnesses with one belly strap.
It has been brilliant in holding him securely but sadly the quality isn't great. We don't do anything extreme with our dog. Walks are in local parks and established footpaths in the countryside. He is never off lead. The fabric on our harness however, has become frayed at every seam and the edges of the straps, and on top it has faded and become threadbare. Given the very high cost of the harness we are really disappointed.
I anticipate we will need to replace it before we've had it a year. Given it's superb ability to securely hold our dog we would probably consider another harness but I'm afraid we would also be forced to look at alternatives first.

Ruffwear’s Front Range collar size Small is just a shortened version of a large dog collar, too wide for a small dog and fitted with uncomfortable outsize hardware. When will manufacturers use some common sense to design comfortable collars for little dogs?

I got the Front Range Dog Harness for my Romanian rescue. He can be a little nervous on walks and pulls me. After trying different harnesses that I felt didn't fit him properly, I decided to give this one a try, and I cannot believe the difference! Straight away, our walks have became more enjoyable for both of us. He walks right next to my side now, and if he does get a little excited the front clip just turns his body towards me whenever he pulls. This harness has made such a difference, and we both love our walks together now. I even bought the matching collar. Highly recommended to anyone having issues with pulling.

Excellent!! Bought the front range harness specifically as my dog pulls. Very sturdy material great fit on the dog and unable to escape - may need to tweak a few times to wear in the fit. Dog doesn’t pull anymore as when you put in the front (chest) when dog pulls it makes them walk sideways and quickly realise can’t walk straight so doesn’t pull. Quite expensive compared to others but highly recommend and definitely worth it.

Tried several different type of harnesses and dogmatic she's escaped every one of them finally tried a ruffwear Webmaster it finally stopped our houdini hound escaping and running the streets well worth the money

Lost a clip to a harness I bought from Ruffwear and emailed them about it. A replacement clip was put in the post free of charge the next day and arrived the same week. Lovely people and very kind and helpful. Charlie and Betty 🐾
