RSK Northfields had previously acted for the seller when we purchased our flat several years ago. We found them pretty unhelpful at that time but decided to go with them anyway when we decided to sell as the easiest option when they knew the property - such a big mistake.

Their valuation was well over the mark. We raised this with them as an issue as we did not want to reduce the price early. Despite this, they continued to claim that this was the best approach. Within 2 weeks of the house being on the market with no offers, they recommended that we drop the price in the region of £50,000. It's understandable that an agent might overestimate the property value to get business but they could have at least been subtle about it! Clearly, they had no intention to ever really sell the property at the price they valued it. They told us that this was based on viewing feedback but we were losing faith in them already at this point.

We waited out the remaining period of our contract with RSK with our property off the market rather than have to deal with them further. In then end we found a different agent and had a much better experience. Fortunately, we won't have to do business with them again.

I am currently in a formal legal dispute with Robertson Smith & Kempson (Ealing) regarding the bad-faith withholding of my deposit (Court Claim N9QZ34H2). I have documented evidence of a clear "Price Creep" and retaliatory behavior facilitated by this office.
In February, the landlord requested £375 from my deposit. After I contacted the Council regarding property negligence (wasp infestation), the claim jumped to £653. On the final TDS deadline day, after I issued a legal notice, the agency facilitated a claim for the full £1,730.
Using the deposit scheme as a tool for retaliation is unethical and a breach of professional integrity. I have notified the TDS and The Property Ombudsman. Prospective tenants should be extremely cautious.

John Pires is an outstanding member of RSK. He is always professional and has a vast knowledge of the property market. One of John’s best qualities is his willingness to go the extra mile for his clients to make sure you are fully supported to make the best decision for yourself. I can highly recommend him and will always refer my family and friends to him.

They put properties online that are no longer available. People on the phone are rude.

I contacted this agency to ask for details about a property I was interested in purchasing. During the conversation, the receptionist hung up on me in the middle of the call and then hung up several more times when I tried to call back.

On top of that, the information she provided was incorrect and misleading, which could have seriously affected a purchase decision.

I would not consider this agency trustworthy for property buyers, and based on this experience, I also would not recommend it to property sellers.

We've recently placed our rental property with RSK to be both let & managed by them. Throughout the process we have found everyone we've dealt with, from Macaela and Bailey in lettings to Daisy & her team in property management to be professional, approachable, understanding, efficient & patient. The team in property management have been particularly helpful in dealing with a number of issues that have arisen for the new tenants since they moved in, especially Jaye who has proven to be very organised & effective in her role. If you make a request for help with an issue at the property, whether tenant or landlord, you can be certain that Jaye will get it resolved in the most constructive & advantageous manner possible for both parties. She's a real asset to RSK & its clients.

Our experience started with Gaetano, who was very hospitable in organising visits for us on the properties we were interested in.

Once we found a place we liked, Daisy has since kept good care of us, attentive to our needs and overall very friendly and approachable.

RSK have been great so far. Gaetano was extremely helpful in our house search and Daisy has been great since moving in. She has helped us get some furniture that was needed and any issues we have had have been solved by her quickly. It’s a pleasant surprise to be treated so well by a letting agency. Thank you Daisy and Gaetano!

I would strongly caution anyone against using RSK. Throughout my tenancy, I followed all proper procedures and reported maintenance issues, including during their routine six-month inspections. Despite this, they are now trying to deduct part of my deposit for a problem I had already reported.

When I requested the inspection reports—documents they are relying on to justify these deductions—they flatly refused to provide them. This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable and shows how little regard they have for tenants’ rights.

Their handling of deposits is unfair, and their staff appear either incompetent or unwilling to take responsibility. I have no choice but to escalate the matter to TDS and would strongly advise others to think twice before renting through this agency.

Beware of this company. Estate agents can be slippery but the one I worked with was caught in multiple lies through the process. Additionally, when I sent over the holding deposit, I got an passive aggressive email stating I hadn't sent it so the agent would continue with viewings. I had to call, only to find out he just hadn't checked before emailing. The entire process was stressful. The house was advertised as having a garden, when I arrived they didn't have the key. I asked for pictures or a video for days after but estate agent largely ignored me and was simply pushy for an offer. These are just a couple examples, genuinely there are so many more. Seriously was the worst experience.

Overall experience: RSK didn't have a handle on my sale, misled both the buyer and I by saying that the sale was going to fall through on numerous occasions, provided wrong advice on issues such as increased stamp duty and generally didn't manage the sale well at all.

I took matters into my own hands and contacted the buyer directly who was extremely amiable and we got the sale over the line without RSK's support.
I tried to ask for a reduction in the commission as the sale would have fallen through due to their terrible management of the sale and was initially offered nothing and then offered a gift voucher as a gesture of goodwill. At this point, I wanted to end my communication with RSK as I had such a terrible experience. I have brought and sold a few properties and even brought with RSK in 2013, but I won't be going back to them after this experience.
If you're selling a leasehold property, don't sell through RSK.

Since I shifted into my new rented property I have been grappling with maintenance issues, specifically Dishwasher. However, I must appreciate the support, assistance and guidance of Lorraine Fisher. She was always available and forthright. She is surely an asset I am sure. Finally, with her efforts the Dishwasher stand changed/replaced today with a new with her push

Aleksandra has been absolutely amazing in helping us with our search for a rental home. Her communication is excellent – she’s always quick to respond and really easy to get in touch with. She’s friendly, professional, and makes the whole process feel much less stressful. Even though we haven’t found the perfect place just yet, her dedication and support have been outstanding. I have been with RSK for 6 Years, and It was a smooth journey. I had an amazing flat in South Ealing that I recently had to leave because I moved out of London.
The moving-out process was nice and Smooth. Daisy was invaluable and kept me in the loop.
