I ordered a tv from the UK to Ireland. It did take some time (5 days in total) and in a world where everything needs to come right here, right now, you are expecting speed. However, with such a big expense above all else you want it to come in one piece and get good service. That is what I got and the communication on delivery times was excellent, proactive and fast. Highly recommend!

Unused 6 year warranty refund
I contacted Richer Sounds in Belfast regarding my expired 6 year warranty and how I could get it refunded as I had never used it. I attached a copy of original receipt. Within one and a half hours I had a phone call to get refund. Also I forgot that I had upgraded kit at time of purchase so I was informed that I would get more refunded. I was impressed at how honest this company is. Other companies would have made me jump through hoops to get this money and maybe not the full amount

Cost of item was substantially lower than the majority (all) of online retailers - and was in stock - no back order, like some other online retailers.
Ordered item at 15:30 on 17 Dec 2024, Received it 11:00 19 Dec 2024.
Everything that was supposed to be in the package- was.
Bonus of additional 6 year warranty at no extra cost.

Great products and fantastic service
I ordered a SVS Subwoofer from Richer Sounds in Belfast, the only store on the Island that stocks them!
My initial order came very quickly but, unfortunately there was a mix up and a different SVS Subwoofer arrived. I contacted the Store and David was almost immediately back onto me to apologise for the mistake and assured me the order would be corrected.
I was then further contacted by Michael to let me know my order was a special one that will take a little longer to arrive but assured me its on the way.
I was then kept up to date with delivery and just over a week later the correct Subwoofer arrived and the mistaken one was taken away.
The process was super painless and I felt very assured throughout the whole experience.
I've bought from them plenty of times before and always had a good experience, so you can be assured even if a mistake happens they will still go above and beyond to look after you.

I have been going to Richer Sounds on…
I have been going to Richer Sounds on and off for the better part of two decades probably more man I feel old. Everything you see in the photos was supplied by them, except for the screen and the sofa. The advice throughout has been excellent, especially from Kenny and their store manager. I'll soon be upgrading to a Cinema 50 and adding four Dolby Atmos speakers—I can't wait! I did most of the installation myself, though there's still some cable management left to do. Do yourself a favour and check out Richer Sounds!
Plenty of on street car park castle court is handy but if picking up parcels they will wait at door while you bring car round first class service tbh but watch the one just before them they charge a £14 flat day rate then refund the difference back to u

Excellent pre sale and after sale service
From initial enquiry about my new TV, David and Stephen were very quick in their responses to me over email with nothing seeming like too much hassle and making me feel a valued customer.
The delivery was also very quick and the courier took extra care to ensure the TV was lifted to where I wanted it to be.
1 week after I purchased the TV, the Black Friday sales started and my TV had a reduction in price. Within a couple of hours David had a refund issued with no issue at all.
Absolute pleasure to deal with and will be recommending to friends and family with the added bonus of it being locally based. 5*!

Update
Follow up to my review of 1 October. My faulty Marantz cinema 30 was returned to Richer Sounds for them to test. I was dealing with George, who arranged the pickup of the faulty unit, he also confirmed receipt of the unit to their depot. He arranged testing the product, confirmed it was faulty and further arranged for a replacement unit to come direct from Marantz. During all this time I was kept informed of progress and I think I spoke a couple of times with David. I have now received the replacement unit, set it up and it is working perfectly. The most important experience for me was the care all of the Richer Sounds team gave to my query and all of the above without any additional cost to me. Once again, thank you so much and as mentioned before, Richer Sounds is the only place to go to buy HiFi/TV equipment for value for money and exceptional service.
