Richer Sounds - Watford Arvostelua

I bought a C rated LG 48 inch LG tv for the World Cup from Richer Sounds.
Notably-anLG OLED48C54LA with a 6 year guarantee and a Sanus VLL5 Black wall bracket.
I am much pleased with our new tv and it was easy enough to set up quickly.
The picture is pure quality and is a decent upgrade from our previous LG unit bought in 2021.
Richer Sounds’s price was better than that of John Lewis -by over £100 and a longer length of guarantee for the same unit. The in house team were very approachable, led by Freddie who explained the differences between similar products and we agreed that my research via Which? magazine, was appropriate for this unit and especially at this price, given the advances in the OLED technology over the past 5 years.
Freddy was knowledgeable, courteous and patient, and in no way pushy or coercive. I didn't at any time feel obliged to buy any of their products.
I opted to collect the unit myself, though delivery was free of charge, and the Lady that handled the delivery helped me, without prompting, to physically load the unit into my car.
I engage with this company from time to time and I am a VIP customer -purely because I believe in their company ethos and because of their worker ownership business ethics.
I am intending to buy any future audio/tech products from Richer Sounds as I have always found them to be a trusted and price efficient company and being confident in any company’s brand and Business Morality is a currency that I value more than the mere price of the product.
After the transaction, the resulting communication from Richer Sounds, confirmed my past and present understanding, that I am, indeed, a valued and respected customer.

Please be advised that I went your store in Watford on 29 June 2026.
I am a foreigner and I don't live here . I bought ATLP5X turntable from your store . There was a lady( partially disabled ) and a black guy ( probably store manager).
I had problem with credit card transaction with them. They have charged my Amex and Visa card twice and both time transaction didn't get through and provided cancelled receipts. both saying that they don't accept those credit card which required signature and then the manager said its their policy.
But the again he said that he can accept my same credit card only for one time and he completed the transaction of GBP 289.00 and handover the Turntable. when i came home i got an email alert that GBP 289 transaction was by made by Richer Sounds. Then i went next day on 30 June at your store in Watford and the Lady said we have cancelled those transaction in the machine .
That's fine and then I wanted to buy few stylus and record cleaning product but she refused to serve me and said we cannot accept your card and she didn't bother to ask me whether I interested pay in cash.
Anyway I left your store that day. after couple days day later I went your Holborn branch in London and i got the proper service from your staff my credit card worked perfectly fine.
I would appreciate it if you look into this issue and why two different rules apply.

When I explained I wanted to hear voice better from my tv your staff recommended a specific sound bar - which was actually a bit cheaper than the one I suggested. Now installed - It has really made a big improvement .

This is only the 2nd time in 15 years that I have used Richer Sounds. I usually buy from online retailer's. What a spectacular service from start to finish.

Initially Heather offered me £10 off a price I had already found online. Product ordered and delivered at a date I choose. With in a week or so of using this £2000 TV, it did not live up to the reviews and hype and was shockingly disappointing. Coming from an LG C2, I know what I'm talking about.

Head office directed me to Lloyd at this branch (Watford). Lloyd called me and offered to help with some in-store demos.

I attended the store where Lloyd had set up some demos (Samsung S95F series) based on my feedback. This man has tha patience of a saint, the personality of an angel and agility of Messi! Not only was I even more confused by the tips and tricks that Lloyd walked me through, but I was amazed that this was far from a hard sell. It was legitimate help...

I went home, had a think and back to the store to demo the take a look at the G5. I left the store, had a look online, emailed Lloyd and done deal.

I felt like a member of my family who was truly interested in my wellbeing was looking after me. Lloyd, thank you for being you. I appreciate your help.

And the TV?

Well it's only been 1 day. Hopefully this is Happy Days!

I ordered the fairly large tv over the phone from Watford an easy process.
It was delivered on time with delivery guys keeping me updated.
I set the unit up with my existing sound system, however a had a slight technical challenge of compatibility. Phoned Watford branch and we worked out a solution in a 30 min call.
Great service.

Richer Sounds is the best shop to use for TV and musical equipment since Discover them about 10 years ago, I would never buy my electrical equipment from anywhere else. The staff are great and knowledgeable

Very good customer service appropriate information given and no sales pressure. We called in late Sunday just before closing but we were not rushed at all we returned later in the week to make the purchase and again excellent customer service.

Hi we used Watford branch To purchase a tele spoke to very informative gentleman Sammi , good salesman,however once tele at home we had trouble connecting Sonos to tele my only gripe we rung shop for some help Chris answered said he would get sammi to call back 4 th attempt spoke to lady who put us in touch with sammi I understand the shop may be busy however I think this could improve thks
