Found a great Retailer, Now need recording artists!
The reality is this, initially I wanted to purchase an item which was quoted as £750 by numerous retailers in the west end. Red Dog quoted me £650 for the same item, so obviously I wanted to purchase from Red Dog but the true beauty of this company is that even before I had paid for it, I received a telephone call from Red Dog to inform me to hold on as the manufactures were have a special and the item that I wanted would be sold as a special for only £500, indeed reducing their profits but obtaining a customer for life.
Recently I have purchased a power lead from Red Dog, even though it is a small insignificant item the sales quality and knowledge provided by "Michael" and his colleagues at Red Dog is still of the highest quality and I will definately recommend that you trade with Red Dog

They cancelled my order claiming item had been sold
I ordered a product pretty late in the evening. The following day at 12:47pm they cancelled my order claiming item had been bought by another customer a couple of hours prior to me ordering the item. I then checked the site and it was still showing as available for the price I originally ordered it for. I checked back 2 or 3 times during the next hour and half and the item was still listed for the cheaper price. While I was on the site, a sales rep contacted me via the chat feature there asking if he could help with a product. I told him I was there for the item, but that i'd had a message from them cancelling my order, then the chat feature said the sales staff was busy. Within 20 minutes the price went up £100. So this took until around 2pm that day for them to update the price to the new price.
Used to be good, but not happy with this way of doing business.
*Updated with approximate times to clarify that the price did not go up to the higher price quickly after the item was claimed to have been sold, as the seller might be implying. My order was cancelled and yet the price I tried to buy it for was still listed on the site at that price well into the afternoon that day.

As a small family retailer we really do take the time to read every piece of feedback we get and any negative feedback we do receive goes straight to heart of what we do on all levels. I am very sorry we've disappointed you with this transaction. The item in question was in our sale and was limited to the final unit we had remaining in our store. Both yourself and another customer went to purchase this item at similar times after reviewing our logs. Due to this, our site was unable to respond quickly enough to reflect the correct stock level remaining. Once our final unit of stock had sold it did change to another price.
We really are sorry this happened, it was an honest mistake that we wholeheartedly apologise for. This is not our usual way of doing business and our many 5 star reviews hopefully show this. Everyone at Red Dog Music comes to work each day with the sole aim of helping our customers be creative and enjoy making music, it is never our intention to mislead or give incorrect information.
If there is ever anything we can do to help apologise for this mistake do get back in touch with me, we never set out to upset any of our amazing customers but occasionally we do get something wrong.

Exceptional service
I buy absolutely all of my musical equipment from RedDogMusic in London.
I've been building a studio and have received so much information, guidance and exceptional service from the guys in the store!
They are the only store I buy from due to this rapport i've built with them. They are helpful in assisting with issues, with most appropriate equipment, and just general friendly service.

I would call myself a loyal customer of this company after buying my first ever synth, the korg minilogue, from Red Dog. The employees have great knowledge of all of their stock, as well have great advice when it comes to comparing products, of which I appreciated their honesty. They are also more than happy to help the customer out in any way they can, which is very nice! Bought from the Leeds (now shut) and London store, both equally as friendly and helpful!

My first port of call for music…
My first port of call for music technology, especially when I want to take an item home and use it the same day- I use the London store and I can’t stress enough that the staff here have been in the business of music technology for ages and really know their stuff. Prices are great, usually the cheapest on the road. Easy parking outside (London) store.
Will be shopping here again without a doubt.
Negatives- you will want to spend more money!

What a excellent Music store Red Dog…
What a excellent Music store Red Dog Music is. The Staff here are really helpful and they can sort out any musical issues that you have. I brought a guitar lead from this music store online for my Yamaha PSR S710 so that I can record myself through the Roland Duo Capture from my keyboard.
The Rad dog music shop staff were very helpful by telling me what to do to sort out my music issues.

I have given 5 stars as I got the Drum…
I have given 5 stars as I got the Drum kit I wanted for a very reasonable price. The kit is great! My first visit to the store (Edinburgh) was kinda disappointing due to the customer service. Sales rep didn't really seem interested. I got the feeling I should have been buying a more expensive Edrumkit.However still came back the next day to buy my Alexis DM Lite kit.
