Made it easy to get good quotes for conveyancing and survey. We did get bombarded with calls and emails afterwards but that isn't reallymove's fault imo.

My details were shared without clear notification to numerous companies
Was interested in getting a quote from a specific surveyor, Really Moving's website made it appear like my enquiry would be sent straight to them, in actuality my details and the details of the property I wanted surveyed were sent to what seemed like every surveyor in the area. For a week or so I received spam emails and phone calls from random companies I had not knowingly consented to. A week or two later on some firms are continuing to email asking why I didn't select them. This is an irresponsible, careless and disrespectful use of my data. Will never use this website again if I can avoid it.

Hi, thank you for leaving your feedback on reallymoving.
We’re sorry that you received unwanted contact from our partners.
We do let you know that your details will be passed on to the firms when you register for quotes (we will only share your details with the 5 surveyors you are quoted, and nobody else), so they can contact you. Many users do find it helpful to be contacted directly by our partners, but we understand that some people may prefer to receive less communication and reach out only to their chosen surveyor.
We will pass your feedback on.
Wishing you all the best with your move. Thanks, the reallymoving team.
It was fine before but....... avoid Abbey Removals
Used it before which was fine. This time I used it to find removal companies. Booked a West Midland company called Abbey Removal who changed the removal date with less than one week notice, after we have to taken time off work and arranged everything. They are also very rude when we called. Not able to leave any feedback for this company as Reallymoving does not allow us to leave feedback without using the company. This is clearly a big negative as any company can be rude and cancel/change booking without any consequences.

Hi there, thank you for leaving us your feedback
We’re sorry that you had a bad experience with the removal firm quoted by us.
We do ensure that all the removal companies on our panel are ombudsman-regulated when we bring them on to our panel, so that we have confidence in their operation.
As you have stated, it is our current policy not to publish reviews unless a customer has completed their service with their chosen firm. However, we appreciate your feedback on the matter.
We wish you all the best with the rest of your move. Thanks, the reallymoving team.
Convenient and cheaper quote.

Asked for feedback on my moving experience, I haven't even moved yet!!!!
They emailed this morning asking for feedback on my moving experience, when all I asked for was a quote.
I replied and suggested that they only contact people who's household goods they have actually relocated.
Needless to say, I won't be using their service.

Hi, thank you for leaving your feedback on reallymoving.
As per our email on 28th July, this review request was for you to review the comparison service we provided, not to review one of the removal companies that you may or may not have ultimately used later on.
Apologies for any confusion.
Wishing you all the best with your move. Thanks, the reallymoving team.
Totally unrealistic on removals costs.
Totally unrealistic on removals costs.
I used a comparison site to compare, and engage, a surveyor. This was fairly straightforward as the price quoted is the price charged. Recently I obtained quotes, on this site, for a move (no packing etc, move only) from a 2 bedroom bungalow to a larger property a few miles away in Bedfordshire. The quotes I received ranged from around £400 to £600. Following surveys the actual quotes came in at between £1200 and £1500! We engaged a local company who don't advertise (unrealistic costs) on this site.

Hi, thank you for leaving your feedback on reallymoving.
We’re sorry to hear you weren’t happy with the accuracy of the quotes provided.
Whilst we try and make our quotations as accurate as possible, some matters can only be accurately quoted on a case-by-case basis after a direct conversation with the removals firm. It is therefore not always possible for our system to take into consideration all aspects of your requirements at the stage of quotation which can result in the slight inaccuracy of quotes.
We are however checking in with our partners on a regular basis, to ensure that the fees represented on our site are as up to date as possible, especially when we receive this feedback.
We will pass your feedback on.
Wishing you all the best with your move. Thanks, the reallymoving team.

Seems more like a data harvesting scam than proper comparison site, all results were for companies in the nearby cities not the city we need survey in and no indication of which companies had any availability.

Hi, thank you for leaving your feedback on reallymoving.
We’re sorry that you were unhappy with the location of your quotes from our partners.
Though we appreciate that many people do prefer to find a locally based surveyor, many of our partners cover the whole of the UK. Therefore, while their location may be based on their head office, they can carry out your survey locally and up to standard.
We will pass your feedback on.
Wishing you all the best with your move. Thanks, the reallymoving team.

Only use if you like receiving countless emails and missed calls
I was, and continue to be, inundated with calls, emails, texts, whatsapp messages etc. from a few companies who I've now had to block.
I missed the "By completing this form your details are shared with up to 5 firms providing the quotes, but absolutely no one else." on the form because honestly, I thought it would just be like using other comparison websites.
Whilst it's my fault for missing this bit, I just don't agree with this from a moral standpoint. Let me contact the company if I like the quote, or at least make this optional on the form. (I'm assuming it's not an option because nobody would click to agree to it!).
I am 100% less likely to go with a company who pester me.
I did find a good quote for a survey with one of the companies who didn't bother me (which is the only reason this is 2 stars not 1). However, I wouldn't use reallymoving again unless they changed the forms to make the sharing of your information with other companies optional.

No Brainer
It’s just so easy. Wonderful website, very clear and intuitive instructions.
I got 5 quotes as promised in seconds; they were a decent range of providers that allowed me to pick seamlessly for my purposes.
I had previously been given referrals from my land agent but they seemed high priced for my fairly simple transaction. Really Moving solved that for me - reducing anxiety and time.
I can’t recommend it enough.

Hi, thank you for leaving us your feedback.
We are unable to respond accurately to this issue as it does not seem to reflect how reallymoving operates. Our quote form does not require a code to log in and receive quotes.
Is this issue related to the firm you chose after receiving quotes via our service?
We’d appreciate it if you would share some more information about your experience by emailing us at info@reallymoving.com.
All the best with your move. Thanks, the reallymoving team.
Do not use if you only want a quote as they pass on your details
You think that you are getting an email with your quotes (which you are) but what follows is a barrage of calls and emails from all the survey providers.
With in 10 minutes I have received 3 calls form different moving companies.
If you only shopping around, do not use this website as they pass on your email and phone number to all companies on the quote.
