Prepare for Spam and Poor Customer Service
The site is easy to use, but I entered my details feeling reassured by the 'no spam' policy, only to be spammed by calls, texts and emails, multiple times a day by the firms they provided the quotes for.
When I reached out to discuss this with the website, I got an impersonal email back starting "dear user" and a phony apology (We're sorry you didn't realise we would share your details") that completely missed and dismissed the point of my complaint to them.
Wouldn't ever use it again.

Hi Elena, thank you for leaving your feedback on reallymoving.
We are sorry to hear about your experience using our service.
As we only pass your details on to the firms you were quoted, we do not feel that that contributes as spam under our policy, as the contact is relevant to your needs. However, we completely understand that the volume of calls can feel like spam to some of our customers, such as yourself, and we apologise if our policy therefore felt misleading.
We also apologise if your previous interaction with us felt impersonal. Rest assured, we do appreciate your feedback, and we will pass it on and use it to continue to improve our service.
We wish you all the best with the rest of your move. Thank you, the reallymoving team.
Competitive quotes for conveyancing
We received competitive quotes for conveyancing and after further negotiation of fees chose Powells Walton who did a good job. We had an 11 week deadline for completion and this was achieved.

Hi there, thank you for leaving us your feedback
We’re sorry that you had a bad experience with the conveyancing solicitor quoted by us.
We do ensure that all the conveyancers and solicitors on our panel are SRA or CLC regulated before we bring them on to our panel, so that we have confidence in their operation. So it is disappointing to hear about this occurrence.
We appreciate your feedback on your experience with your chosen firm and will pass it on.
We wish you all the best with the rest of your move. Thanks, the reallymoving team.

A massive help, highly recommend
A relative sent me the link to Rightmove where they were promoting use of the ReallyMoving quote finder. I was dubious at first but we needed to secure a moving van within 2 days and time was not on our side. I was impressed with the speed that 6 quotes came back, from these quotes I was able to narrow down two possible moving companies, both of which I contacted the next day. Meanwhile my details were passed to all 6 of the moving companies and I was contacted separately anyway which took a lot of the stress and admin out of contacting people myself, I began to get emails with more accurate quotes and pricings from all 6 which helped with my eventual decision. The moving company I went with was called 1PLUS1 Removals and I have no regrets, they were amazing.

Rapid response and good choice of removers
I got the link for reallymoving.com from the Rightmove page, having done a Google search for removal companies. No sooner had I filled in my requirements than my phone and email were red hot with responses, messages and call backs. It felt a bit pressured at the time, but all the responding companies were very helpful and over a few days I had five in person surveys done and full written quotes provided, so I was able to make an informed choice of remover.

Prepare to feel very popular
Got four quotes instantly and then the utter onslaught of phone calls and emails began. Aggressive doesn't even begin to describe it. I will accept responsibility for not understanding how this worked in advance - I thought it would be more like Compare the Market or even Shiply - but the regret for ever sending my info through is real and I will not use any of the companies on principle. I feel like I accidentally fed a pigeon in Trafalgar Square.

Hi, thank you for leaving your feedback on reallymoving.
We’re sorry that you were unhappy with the contact from our partners.
As you stated, we do make it clear that your details will be passed on to the firms you are quoted when you register (and nobody else). Many users do find this useful, but we understand that some may be happier with a different process.
We will pass your feedback on.
Wishing you all the best with your move. Thanks, the reallymoving team.
Avoid - you will get spammed by movers!
Do not use Reallymoving - you will be relentlessly spammed.
I originally sought a quote on removal insurance (not a mover) through Reallymoving, which the website appeared to support. When I entered my details I had no idea I would be spammed relentlessly (literally, every 15 minutes) by removalist companies trying to sell me a moving quote (not insurance, as intended) - this was by email, phone and whatsapp over the course of 3 hours.
Reallymoving don't explain that your details will be shared, or that you will be contacted so aggressively by 3rd parties. All movers that contacted me disclaimed any responsibility and several even said they would continue contacting me until Reallymoving updated their records. I have officially complained to Reallymoving and put them on notice I will be making a complaint to the ICO. I have had no response - avoid this site!

Hi, thank you for leaving your feedback on reallymoving.
We’re sorry to hear about your situation.
We currently do not offer quotes for removals insurance via our service; we only offer quotes for removal services. So we shall investigate how this came across.
We do state clearly on our form that your details will be passed on to the 6 firms you were quoted when you registered for removal quotes (and nobody else), but we understand that some people may prefer to choose when to receive contact.
We have received your request to remove your details from our system and have carried this out.
We will pass your feedback on.
We wish you the best with your move. Thanks, the reallymoving team.
Lots of calls
I do appreciate that the website said you will receive calls, but you have to provide your phone number BEFORE you are provided with a list of removal company details.
I hadn’t heard of a single company that was provided on the list and I received calls almost immediately, which didn’t give me time to look into the details of the companies suggested. There is no way I would agree to a service from a company that I have never heard of without doing some research first (eg reviews and insurance etc).
I felt like I was being pressured into booking a video survey with some of these immediately and some of which only had a couple of reviews or not great reviews when I investigated further.
I really feel that there should be the facility to select which companies you wish your details passed to, not having to agree to pass your details on before knowing which companies they will be passed to.
