Raymour & Flanigan - Paramus East Outlet Arvostelua 

I'm really happy I got to work with Sunny. He was not pushy, gave us space when browsing and when I asked questions he was very knowledgeable. Because a purchase of furniture can be expensive (>$1k), we wanted to check out a Macy's Furniture Outlet nearby. The other salesman on the floor made a comment under his breath and this was such a turn off. Luckily, Sunny ignored him and gave me his card and it was because of him I came back. If not, I would have gone online or another location.

Leslie was a pleasure to have as a saleswoman. Very pleasant attitude.

So ordering online was easy. The issue I have is that I was informed the furniture would be ready for pickup on a Wednesday. Guess what? I received a phone call on the Wednesday I'm supposed to pick up and was told my furniture is not available for pickup because the pickup up place is closed on Wednesdays. You mean to tell me, no one has a key to open up the door of where the furniture is kept? I'm annoyed because my husband and I cleared our schedules to pick up our furniture and now we can't.

The salesman went above and beyond! He not only showed and explained to us about the power lift chair that I was interested in, he also had someone from the warehouse take the back of the chair off and bring it out side into the daylight so I could really see the color! Definitely above and beyond!
Also, the delivery was next day, the service was unbelievable, and the two delivery guys, George & Juan were fantastic! When they got to my house, which is 45 minutes away from the warehouse, the remote was missing. George immediately offered to bring it to me on his way home from work later that afternoon. He came in, finish the set up, took his time explaining the controls to me. Absolutely unbelievable Service!

I ordered a low profile twin box spring. I received an email saying it was ready for pickup. When I arrived to pick it up, it wasn’t in stock. Customer service went above and beyond trying to locate one, even though it was unsuccessful. I chose to pay a little more for the product because I was hoping to get it promptly. I could have paid less somewhere else and got the same results. 5 stars for customer service. 3 stars for not receiving merchandise on time.

The store didn't honor promised day to pick up. Also you have a police of no pick up Wednesdays and Sundays and I was only notified on the day of picking up. Wich coincidentally was Wednesday.

Update: Over the phone was told me the nightstands would be ready on the next day. The told me someone would call me to stop by. But just in case, call before to confirm. I waited until 4:00pm. I called and again wasn't ready. And this time was told me probably in the next day. They call me this Friday to go pick them up. When I got there I was informed that only one was delivered. (Even thought the reason for not be able to pickup on the promised day, also was they had only on in stock) Now is postponed for next Tuesday.

I have shopped from R & F many times over the years. I had a recliner delivered today. What was supposed to be white glove delivery, turned out to be 2 men with dirty, wet shoes, who had no covering to put over their shoes. They said they were not allowed to put anything over their shoes, nor were they willing to take their shoes off. For $170 delivery for 1 recliner, I don't expect delivery people to get my carpets dirty.
It was an unpleasant experience that I will not repeat.
When I called the store to complain, the manager, Mr. Amadeo told me he would have to transfer me to customer care because he was sales. I told him he was passing the buck. He passed me off to customer care anyway. The woman from customer care did listen and said she passed the information along.
I don't think any action will be taken and I definitely will not shop at R&F again.

It took four months, but we finally received the $100 incentive that we were promised when we bought a recliner loveseat from Raymour and Flanagan in July.
When we made our purchase, the salesperson told us that we would receive a $100 dollar gift card and that it would be sent to us. After waiting over 2 months and never receiving it we called them. The person in customer service told us that we were supposed to get an Email to claim it. We then looked all through our Email. We found nothing. We called back. They then gave us the number of the company that was supposed to furnish the gift card. We called them. They said they had no record of any such request from Raymour and Flanagan. We called the store back and told them the company did not receive any notification that we should receive the gift card. They said they would talk to the salesperson. That person called back the next day and said she was processing our $25 gift card with the outside company. We questioned her and said, $25 gift card? When we were buying the furniture, you told us it would be a $100 dollar gift card. She then said she would talk to her manager. She called back later and said your purchase did not meet the criteria for a $100 dollar gift card. She said you needed to spend $1500 dollars. Our purchase totaled $1432. She never mentioned a $1500 dollar requirement. We told her, you did not tell us that when we were purchasing the furniture. You told us if we bought it, we would receive a $100 gift card. I asked her to speak to her manager. She said he was not there right now. I asked her for his name and requested that he call me back. We called several times and requested him to call back. After one week and several calls to him, still no call back. We had resigned ourselves to the fact that he would never call. We then posted a negative review and after receiving a response from their corporate customer service we began corresponding with them by Email. Well, here it is four months later and we finally received the $100 dollar on November 16th. So the company actually did live up to what they promised us. It was a long and arduous journey to get here. Our initial experience was very good. It is everything else that has led us to post this mediocre review.
