Eles me alugaram um quarto com percevejos, sabendo da existencia deles. Invadiram o meu quarto e jogaram venenos em meus objetos pessoais.

Our electricity and water they cut off several times. They always threaten you. They enter your rooms without permission and impose unreasonable fees. Go and sleep in the street, and would rather lose your money and health with this bad company

I RAN AWAY AFTER ONE MONTH. They dont follow contract rules. It's a criminal organisation and they never pay back deposits. To nobody!

I had room with mold and no window, ir was impossible to live where, because of the big level of humidity, and I wasn't the only one like that!
Then the man's bathroom clogged, they forced woman to pay also for repair bills. And the best part is, that they didn't allowed to dry clothes on the rack, so everyone should dry clothes in the rooms.

Don't follow the good reviews. It's also airbnb. They write them themselves. And they mainly rip of sfudents and immigrants. All the bad reviews are accurate what multiple people have experienced.

Please be aware!!

I do not recommend to rent here. They will try to go around the contract in any way possible. The rent that is on the platform won’t be true and they will put ridiculous amount of bills to it. I personally lived in a room without windows and with mold infestation, common areas are always dirty, if something in the apartment is broken and you didn’t even used it once you will still have to pay for it. Please, considerate before renting because you will face these conditions and you won’t get your deposit back after.

Me alquilaron una habitación de unos 6m2 por 450€ al mes INFESTADA DE CHINCHES. Les comuniqué el problema y "desinfectaron" la habitación varias veces, pero las chinches seguían ahí. Encima entraban "trabajadores" al piso y a mi habitación SIN AVISAR. Dejaron de responderme a los correos y al teléfono. Tuve que irme de la habitación sin saber cómo hacer el check out porque no me respondían. No me quieren devolver el depósito porque dicen que he incumplido el contrato yéndome antes. ELLOS LO HAN INCUMPLIDO ALQUILÁNDOME UNA HABITACIÓN CON CHINCHES. Interpuse una denuncia y ya lo conocían. No alquilen con ellos.

dishonest. I requested to book a room in lisbon starting mid october. they say they have one in amadora (different town) for the same price! only it's available from september, so even tho it's sep 12 and you're booking for oct 14, you're paying from sep 1st. dishonest, dishonest, dishonest. the drywall in the half-room has holes, hair and fingernails everywhere, the bathroom is disgusting, and PAULINE thinks I can't read the shade in her eyes! stay away!

BEDBUGS ALL OVER THE ROOM!!
I rented a room in Lisbon for some months but I had to leave the first days because my room was full of bedbugs all over the mattress, walls and even ceiling. I asked them to put some insecticide (which 'they did' but it didn't solve anything) and retire my mattress. I spent two days waiting for my new mattress, which didn't arrive so I didn't have nowhere to sleep.

Also, the direction on the contact info is false! There's nowhere to find them in person.
Still waiting to get at least my deposit back.

A catastrophe. They kept the deposit, lied about everything and stole my bike! Stay away from them!!!

My experience with Quarto and Quartos was really bad: since from the beginning their behaviour was rude and suspicious; during the stay they asked money for everything was about the normal maintenance of an house (problems with the wc, etc) in a really rude way by email; the people of the cleaning service was used to spy the tenants; at the end when I left the apartment they faked a damage at the bookshelf in my room, sending me pictures of the fake damage (a small red line cleanable) for which they asked me to pay for the substitution of the whole bookshelf. Even if I tried to highlight the irregularities of their behaviour, they had the power to make me pay in the end since they still had my deposit (I only had the possibility to choose between having a part of the deposit back or nothing). Also the house is not worth it since in Lisbon you can find nicer places with nicer and more welcoming people.

Horrible... really don't go there. They're desperate to take your money, they don't respect anything or anyone. They are super unprofessional. Really think twice before renting and you can surely say goodbye to your deposit.

I usually never write any reviews, but PLEASE DON'T BOOK ANY ROOM with that company. They are an absolute rip off - they're gonna do everything to keep your money and get more out of you. I just rented a room off them for 2 months, but i wish i never had - even a hostel would've been a better idea than going with those thieving **. In the contract it says you have to return your key until the end of your rent, like one day before that. I already moved out two weeks earlier, so my room was free and clean anyway, but i brought back the key on the last day. In the contract it says they will return the deposit within 5 days. I still havent received anything. After asking where it is they tell me that i stayed in 1 more day, which means i have to pay 200 Euros off my deposit. Why? I returned it one day earlier and they still wanna keep that amount. I still haven't received a cent back. All around the flat are pictures with rules and the prices when you disrespect them. Like if someone stays over without permission it's 75Euros, if you leave things in the kitchen and the cleaning staff sees that, they will go home and quarto e quartos charges everyone of the flat (if its shared). The room itself wasn't great eather. There was mould on the ceiling, which i only noticed the first night after i moved in. So there's no way out there eather because - who would've thought - if you leave earlier than what your contract says they will keep the deposit as well. After two weeks in that disgusting room they sent someone over to paint over the mould. Not remove it, just paint over it. Please stay as far from that company as you can, it's worth spending some more time looking for something.

This room in Casa Vitoria exceeded my expectations in every way. The room was beautiful furnished and spacious. Joana was very friendly and provided good recommendations for nearby cafes and supermarkets. I would definitely choose this room again on my next Erasmus.

This room in Casa Fonte was very nice. The decor was stylish and inviting, and the room had a warm and cosy feel. Tatiana was incredibly helpful and made me feel right at home. The location was fantastic, with easy access to public transportation. I would highly recommend this room to any student.
