Wish I could give negative stars. Ordered beginning of Dec and just got pathetic joke of a book today. Plus fact I also ordered 2 more for my kids. I got what looks like a pamphlet and hardly anything else. I'm so beyond disgusted and now my kids are disappointed to see the absolute crap that they will get whenever it decides to show up. Wasted money and as a single parent they should be so ashamed

Absolute junk. Took 2 months to get what I could have purchased at Dollar tree for 5 bucks. What a scam! Do not order!

Ridiculous. I ordered the blind date with a book and received everything BUT the book. The stickers, blind date wrapper, marker, and bookmark. Mind you, the stickers were AI generated and super low quality. Spent about $50 so I emailed customer support super upset asking for a refund. They offered me “$6 compensation” how offensive is that?? I keep arguing that they have false advertising on their website and they “assure” me that they checked the warehouse and it’s accurate. Now they’re up to $15 compensation but I have to return the product to China which will cost me $60. Don’t even bother.

Ordered a blind date with a book got a pamphlet of the prologue of a book from the wrong genre. Said it was made in the US but tracking said my order came from Italy. I could have bought the actual book for $9 and saved $10 and didn’t have to get the cheap highlighter and stickers I will never use. I placed my order on Black Friday and didn’t get it until January 13th.

This is a scam company do not order.
I ordered a 'date with a book' $40 in November for a Xmas gift and received a greeting card with a pen on 8th January ..... NO BOOK
They offered me $3 refund.
Absolute scammers and waste of time

If I could give less that a star I would. Site originally claimed in early December Blind date with a "book". I was drawn in to the concept and pictures on site were cute as presents for book club members. It is NOT a book but an excertp with a badly printed cover of a well known book. Site now updated to say "pamphlet".
It took 7 weeks to recive the product, tracking said it was from Spain but stickers on package said China.
I was initially intruiged that it could be coming from Spain, but it clearly did not. The extra stickers/marker/bookmarks etc super cheap. I bought each package at $23.00 on Sale! Not worth it at all. I hopefully will get a refund. We shall see.

One star rating is being too generous! I actually didn't want to give any star. I submitted my order on Dec. 8th 2024, and did not receive until 13th January 2025... so much for wanting to give as a Christmas gift! The American flag icon shows on the website, but the tracking notices I received showed my order was hanging out (for too long) in warehouses in Iceland, and the original shipping label was from China! Very inferior product; I ordered a book and received a COPY of part of one chapter of a book... not even the genre I had requested! Four of these, I do not know if the same "book" was in the other packages because they are covered in brown paper to keep with the theme of "blind date"! I did not receive what I thought I had ordered! Very irritating.

Scam company. Ordered 3 from my husband for Christmas. Figured yeaaah I can order something neat for me and I still won't 100% know what I was getting. It took several weeks to get it, it advertises they're shipped from Mississippi. It came from Italy. All 3 were Nicholas Sparks excerpts. While some of the extras are as advertised, the books are not. I have emailed customer service and will see what they have to say. I am very displeased.

I ordered this over 6 weeks ago and was assured it would be here by Christmas, as they were gifts. Yeah, that didn't happen!! I ordered 3 as they were supposedly "on sale". I paid 53.06!

The first tracking number they gave me said the order was shipped out of Ireland and then it was "stuck" in Chicago forEVER!! When I complained they magically expedited my shipping. The next one said it was being sent from China!! Then they said it was delivered on 1/11/25 to a neighbor as per requested??? Ummmm that's a big fat NO! I didn't request that!
However there was "something" in my mailbox. Three very THIN pamphlets wrapped in brown paper with stickers and stuff inside there too. I didn't even KNOW there were pamphlets in there until I came and saw these reviews!! NOTHING was assembled and there were no actual BOOKS to be found! Funny how the Nicolas Spark pamphlet fits into fiction, historical fiction AND the mystery categories!!

I am now waiting for their response for a refund and in the meantime started a fraud complaint with my credit card company! This is flat out fraud.

I ordered a calendar and allegedly it has been lost in the mail. When I followed up they keep saying in repeated emails that they have refunded the money. They haven't.
The worrying sign is that every email is worded exactly the same.
Stay clear from this dodgy company

1. I waited over 6 weeks for this. I ordered 2 as they were on sale. And I paid $38.99 plus shipping.
2. The first tracking number they gave me said the order was shipped out of Ireland. When I complained about how long it was taking they said they had updated information and sent me a different tracking number. This one said it was shipped from China.
3. This is what I received: 2 booklets that were the same thing. Some stickers and other childish things. Both were only 2 chapters long definitely not "books" as they advertise.
4. When I demanded a refund they offered me $8 00 as compensation for being inconvenienced. Oh. How damn nice of them! Also there were multiple labels on the package - one from Washington and another from Illinois what does that mean?
5. I would say this is a total scam

Not worth the cost! It took two and half months (2 1\2) to recieve this package. The 'book' is more like a pamphlet scanned and stapled together. It is poorly formatted and incomplete 😢 The actual book has 464 pages, what I received was a 'book' with eleven (11) pages. For the what I spent this absolutely ridiculous! The tracking information indicated that the item was coming from overseas and the return address label gave a Chicago, Illinois address. This looks like a scam! I want a refund!

Ordered two Blind Date with a book gifts for Christmas online and it took forever. Didn’t receive until I complained to PayPal. The package I received was a couple chapters of a photo copied book. Such a scam. Said it was coming from Spain but then the label had Chicago.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The website and advertising is very misleading. It is not a book you receive even though that is what all the pictures in the website shows. We waited almost 7 weeks to receive pages of a book. When I requested a refund for the 3 “books” I ordered back in November totaling over $70 they offered me $5 as an “act of good faith”. Ridiculous.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
Very misleading, there is a little tiny book with a couple inserts from a book! I bought 2 for Christmas and it took over a month to get here because they ship from CHINA! I paid for some stickers and highlighters lol WHAT A JOKE! They shouldn’t be allowed to sell anything at all!!!

Scam, Scam, Scam! All these reviews are absolutely correct and a mirror of what I just opened from the mail. Complete trash. I bought 3, was gonna give one as a gift, I would never give this to anyone!! There's nothing in the package worth keeping. My name was supposed to be on them as well, absolutely was not. I e reached out to the company but not expecting a helpful reply. Absolutely trash and hell shall be their home!

THIS IS A SCAM!!! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS WEBSITE!!! YOU ARE NOT GETTING A BOOK. YOU WILL ONLY GET A COVER, A HIGHLIGHTER AND SOME CHEAP ASS STICKERS.

Their blind date with a book is a scam. I received the first chapter from a Nicholas Sparks book. Not a whole book and looks like a copywrite infringement. Such a fun concept with an incredibly poor execution.

Extremely disappointed. The website says there will be a book in the package, but it was only a "sample" of The Last Song by Nicolas Sparks with two chapters, typed up by someone. Customer service was actually responsive, but didn't address the issue that they aren't selling books as advertised. I got $5 back from the $28 I paid during their holiday sale. Never purchasing from this site again.

I was so excited about this concept... Blind date with a book. I ordered two of them! I paid for expedited shipping. However, it still took six weeks to be delivered. And the kicker is... When I received my two copies of "blind date with a book"... there were no books inside! I paid $50 for a highlighter, some stickers and a bookmark. And customer service did nothing to help. This was an awful scam. Do not purchase!
