Just want to say what a brilliant and professional company.
Iv emailed asking advice on how best to get the most out of my mask, they replied quickly and were super helpful. The velcro unfortunately came off on my mask, i contacted them as was in my warranty, they again replied super quick and efficiently keeping me updated and I received my new mask in no time. I highly recommend not only the LED mask but them as a company.

Hidden technical specs and a highly frustrating return process

I purchased the LumaLux Dome expecting a high-quality red light therapy device. As someone who prioritizes actual power output and clinical-grade results for my skincare, I was immediately frustrated by the lack of transparency. Project E Beauty intentionally leaves the irradiance data and true wattage off their website. I actually had to email them to ask for the technical specifications, and when they finally replied, I found out the power output is incredibly low and completely insufficient for my needs.
Because of this, I had to buy a more powerful panel elsewhere and initiate a return for this order before even opening the box.
Unfortunately, their return and refund process is incredibly tedious, mostly because their customer service is painfully slow to reply. They approved my return and sent me an Easyship label to print, but provided absolutely zero instructions on the actual logistics for a customer in Singapore. There was no drop-off location provided, no pickup scheduling link, and no courier contact info—just a label. I've had to chase them down again just to figure out how to hand the box over.
To make matters worse, they deduct a $57 return shipping fee from your refund, all while leaving you to figure out the shipping logistics yourself. If you care about actual device specifications and responsive customer service, look elsewhere. The lack of upfront data and the sluggish return process make it not worth the headache.

I purchased the Alora panel by Project E Beauty. I had a man and his wife use the panel on their injuries and it worked so well that they bought one a few days later. My other friend used it on her lower back, which had been hurting for weeks. The next day her pain was completely gone.

Project E beauty has been an amazing experience for me. I’ve been using it consistently and have already noticed visible improvements in my skin—fine wrinkles have reduced, and my skin looks more radiant and refreshed.
What truly stood out is their customer service. It’s exceptional—very responsive, attentive, and efficient. Any issues I had were addressed quickly and professionally, which made the whole experience even better.

This is my 1st purchase (Blue Light Therapy Hand Device) with Project E Beauty. I have done alot of reserach into this product and Project E Beauty was a clear stand out from competition. Their visual presence via website, quality of beauty products, detailed information available, psotive reviews and a pleasant shopping experience cemented the deal. The logistics / delivery experience was also positive. Abit early to tell if the Blue Light Therapy Device works but on 1st use the product feels High Quality and well made and works. Time will tell how effective it is. Keep up the Great work guys. I look forward to providing furtehr feedback on this device and also on future purchases.

Disappointing

I purchased the LumaLux LED Light Therapy Mask as it’s advertised for redness, inflammation, and sensitive skin. Unfortunately, in my case, it made my skin significantly worse, causing increased redness and bumps. My skin improved once I stopped using it.

After raising this with the company (and not receiving an initial response), I went through multiple rounds of back and forth. They eventually offered store credit, however refused a refund despite Australian Consumer Law, which requires products to be of acceptable quality and fit for purpose beyond arbitrary return windows.

Customer service responses were polite but appeared templated or AI-generated, with little genuine understanding of the situation.

I’d recommend caution, particularly if you have sensitive or reactive skin, and to carefully review their policies before purchasing.

Great service with great gadgets

I had a faulty gadget and contacted them. They were very prompt to get in touch. They were very thorough in their investigation and eventually replaced me with a new one.
Very satisfied with their service.
As for the led face mask and the reva gadget which I bought, they are very user friendly. I was also able to obtain advice on the usage of the two gadgets concurrently. After few months of usage, alternating between the two gadgets, I can see subtle improvements on my skin, but already receiving compliments about how great my skin looks. I will still use the gadgets consistently and hopefully will see further improvements in the future.

Highly recommended! I ordered directly from their website; I ordered a red-light therapy mask and a high frequency wand, along with some serums and ice roller. The products are soo good, they last a long time, easy to use and with clear instructions. Their customer service is also exceptional, very quick to respond to queries and not at all hesitant to resolve issues, very fast service too! I would say it's an investment.

Love my LumaLux Dome! IR Button is confusing though

My LumaLux Dome arrived timely (under a week) and seems quality-made with a modern, minimalist, and professional design. I have been using it 2-3 weeks now and am already noticing an improvement in my skin (the purple color is my favorite so far: it combines both red and blue light, and that has been amazing for my seb derm flare)!

I especially love that I can rest my hands on my shoulders while lighting my face, and I can see a difference in my hands, too! This is the most versatile of light therapy devices as it is able to treat various parts of the body -even multiple at one time. I am so happy that I got this instead of a mask! (Per customer service, it doesn't work great for the scalp though, so I did more research, and I also got the CurrentBody helmet. Happy with it so far, too)

Customer service is fantastic: very responsive!

Tip on the infrared:
There is no indicator of when it is off or on. With every press, it flashes a few times then holds steady, however, you're in fact toggling it on and off.
(1) To use it, first plug in device (der).
(2) Press power.
>This is standby mode: no color therapy is emitted. You can press the Mode button to cycle through all the colors of light therapy and once you pass white, you'll return to Standby again
(3) Press IR. It's on!
> Test it: Turn down surrounding room lights. Look at the dome's bulbs (not for long- I assume there is a good reason this device comes with goggles). There is a subtle red light on in the bulbs when IR is active. Take a picture of the bulbs with a selfie/front/screenside camera of a smartphone (other cameras likely have an infrared filter): the bulbs will glow pink through that camera.
(4) Press IR a 2nd time at any point while the device is powered on, and it toggles off.

When IR is on, it stays on even through mode and timer changes. When toggled on/off with color light therapy, you'll notice the mode color dims when IR is active; the visible light brightens without infrared on.

Proj E Beauty Customer Service will do anything to prevent a refund.

STAY AWAY FROM PROJECT E BEAUTY!

I purchased directly from PEB website to ensure the 60 day money-back guarantee. LOTS of complaints about Project E Beauty (PEB), when PEB sold thru platforms like Wal-Mart, Amazon, etc.

I read lots of complaints about PEB Lumalux LED Face & Neck Mask controller, which PEB claimed were fixed. One controller is used for face & neck masks.
I called PEB cust serv w/ controller battery issues & followed all recommendations like draining the controller & then recharging it, use only ONE mask at a time** PEB website shows lady using BOTH masks at same time. Day 58, I called PEB cust serv for Return Merchant Authorization (RMA). PEB customer service said PEB would email me the RMA after verifying my purchase. Day 60, I emailed PEB for RMA # b/c PEB never emailed me the RMA. PEB emailed back that I was outside the 60 day guarantee!

I tried to file a PayPal dispute. PayPal stated PP only allows customer 30 days from merchandise delivery to file a dispute. PP stated that it automatically favored merchant when outside of the 30 days so dispute was NEVER opened.

I opened a dispute with AMEX; I sent my receipt, delivery date, PEB's written 60 day money-back guarantee, and documented issues from users online with the controller.

AFTER AMEX contacted PEB, then PEB emailed me a RMA. PEB stated that I MUST ALSO PAY for return shipping AND insurance in order to get a refund! Shocking given I could never use the masks properly because of a defective controller. Still paying $25 to get back $570 was worth it to me.
I wiped the masks and controller with a microfiber barely damp w/ rubbing alcohol to ensure masks and connectors were completely clean, looked brand-new, and unused. I packed everything the way it came, included everything that I had received in the box. Return got to PEB 5 days after I mailed it.

After PEB got my masks and controller back, I emailed delivery confirmation and asked for my refund. PEB gave excuses as to why they couldn't give me back my money. First it was because of the AMEX dispute BUT a merchant can always give a refund back during a dispute! PEB said if I closed the dispute then I would get a quicker refund. I closed the AMEX dispute and sent PEB PROOF FROM AMEX that the dispute was closed; all done within 15 days of PEB getting back the masks.

Over 7 weeks & I still didn't have a refund. PEB said no refund because of the open PayPal dispute, which had NEVER been opened. I believe that PEB was dragging this out to burn the days so I couldn't get a refund thru an AMEX dispute.

I had asked AMEX to close the dispute with the right to re-open it. I asked b/c during my call w/ PEB, they said PEB must verify themselves that dispute is closed and it would take at least 2 weeks for PEB to verify that the AMEX dispute is closed. AMEX said that was not true because AMEX was ALSO sending PEB an email to PEB with my RMA as I requested; email stated the dispute was closed by me to facilitate a quicker refund.

After 2 months, I contacted AMEX to re-open the dispute. Fortunately I had primarily communicated with PEB by email after PEB lied that I hadn't called them. I sent 15+ emails to AMEX that came directly from PEB customer service.

AFTER THREE MONTHS & NO REFUND, I got PayPal to send an email. PP's email stated there was no dispute opened because I failed to make my claim within 30 days of merchandise delivery. I sent PP's email to AMEX who said that PEB had lost the dispute based on the PayPal email.

I sent the PP email to PEB and told PEB that AMEX was ruling in my favor because of PEB's lies and attempts to burn the days to try to stop me from getting a refund thru AMEX dispute.

2 days after I forwarded PEB the PayPal email, then PEB emails me a complete lie- "We've reviewed your case again and have now successfully initiated the refund. It appears the refund has gone through this time.
From what we can see, PayPal required the dispute to be fully closed before allowing the refund to be processed on our end, which may have caused the delay."
WTH?!
PayPal emailed me that a dispute could NOT be opened after 30 days had passed!
PEB customer service STILL CLAIMS that a PP dispute was opened! -- A blatant lie by PEB.

PEB emailed- "We're truly sorry that this situation has caused so much frustration. This is not the kind of experience we aim to provide, and we understand how upsetting this has been for you.
Please know that we always strive to provide fair and timely resolutions."
If PEB is so sorry then why didn't PEB EVER OFFER to reimburse me $25 for return shipping of a defective product?

OVER THREE MONTHS for a refund that I got b/c of AMEX & my email documents proving PEB lied about PP dispute.

5.5 months of grief for a crappy product & fighting for my refund.

BUY ODELYNE ADARA MASKS that work w/ good customer service for hundreds less.

High frequency wand glass applicators

I ordered the high frequency wand and love it. As one arrived broken, project E beauty replaced it immediately. Since the glass applicators are very delicate, they can break fast, but the team is very helpful and replaced them free of charge. Great handling of this matter and accommodating team.

I find the mask very effective

The mask is really worth it, I can definiteley see a result! I had a problem with the control box after a while but the customer service is great, they respnded very quickly and kind and I got a replacement.

Reliable company

Packaging is well-finished in all its details and shipment didn't take too long. I love my Lumalux face mask because it's really fast and in only 3 minutes you can get a full treatment that targets different issues of the skin. After only a week of daily use my skin already looks smoother and brightened. At first I had problems with charging the controller, but it was only because I didn't use the proper adapter. Customer service helped me out promptly, the guys were so kind and helpful! I really recommend Project E Beauty!
