We chose the Georgian parquet LVT following a recommendation from a local floor layer when renovating our rear extension, and we couldn’t be happier with it. In fact, we loved it so much that we went on to have it installed in our hallway, dining room, dressing room, and recently our ensuite.

It’s incredibly hard-wearing; ours has been down in the kitchen and rear extension since 2019 and still looks fantastic. With two dogs and children, it’s had to withstand plenty of wear, tear, and regular cleaning, and it has held up brilliantly.

We had it professionally installed and, honestly, we’ve had no issues at all. It’s a perfect combination of practicality and style.

I am sharing my personal experience with the Polyflor Camaro Rigid Core PUR Bianco Oak 4137 flooring purchased from Oakleigh Flooring Ltd.

I chose this product to buy from Oakleigh Flooring Ltd because the price was competitive and, in an effort to provide additional protection, I installed an extra layer of underlay. Approximately one year after installation, I began to notice the top surface (“skin”) of the flooring peeling away.

My first complaint was made to Oakleigh Flooring Ltd, as the retailer. Their response was that, because I had installed an additional underlay, the product guarantee was void under their terms and conditions. I was not satisfied with this explanation, as no clear technical reason was provided.

I then contacted the manufacturer, Polyflor. Their representative visited my property to inspect the flooring. During the visit, they did not identify any obvious cause for the peeling and took a sample of the underlay for further technical assessment. I was also asked to provide information about the flooring installer, which I declined at that stage.

The technical report I later received did not provide a definitive cause for the issue. The conclusion again focused on the presence of additional underlay as grounds for voiding the guarantee. I subsequently contacted the professional flooring company who carried out the installation, and they stated that, in their view, the use of additional underlay would not normally cause the floor’s surface to peel.

As the explanations provided to me did not resolve the matter, I sought legal advice. My solicitor is now handling the case and has arranged for an independent assessment by another flooring specialist. I have incurred losses of more than £2,000 due to the issue and the dispute over responsibility.
At this point, I am pursuing the matter through the appropriate legal channels. My intention is simply to recover my reasonable costs if the independent expert’s findings support my position. I hope that a fair outcome can be reached.

Their Lvt flooring is not worth a penny… it is definitely not fit for purpose or is it suitable for ALL types of underfloor as they say it is, I fitted it in an upstairs kitchen and within two hours of being exposed to a bit of sun it melted… I’ve been building houses for years and this is by far the worst flooring I’ve ever used.. and to top it off the rep came out told me he’d never seen this before then sent me a report basically saying it’s not there flooring… do not buy this flooring and even volante the wholesaler whom I brought it from was just the same, I told them what I had on the floor, got told it works on all under floor heating types, got told it was uv stable and now they a backing up polyflor joke of a report… stay away from VOLANTE and POLYFLOR

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Polyflor has been thoroughly disappointing. The flooring I received was of noticeably poor quality—scratched and marked within days of being fitted, prone to damage, and certainly not as "durable" or "easy to clean" as advertised. It’s far from what I expected from a company claiming to supply high-performance flooring.

What made the situation worse was the lack of support from their customer service team. My concerns were met with silence or dismissive responses, and no real effort was made to investigate or resolve the issue. I’ve spent a great deal of time chasing a resolution with no success.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Polyflor based on this experience. If you’re looking for quality flooring and reliable support, I would advise looking elsewhere.

I have recently suffered a severe stroke after a nephrectomy and decided carpets were a no no after becoming disabled so put my trust in polyflor lvt tiles , a smooth easy flat floor made sense but after using an exceptional floor fitter with 25 years of experience my floor has turned into a nightmare , still looks ok but a lot of the joints have opened up leaving it unsightly and now prone to dirt in the joints , I contacted the fitter and Polyflor who came to visit and could not believe the gaps and took numerous photos pus 6 spare tiles to be tested , now after a 6 week period surprise surprise no fault found and the company now state that lvt does infact shrink and refuse to do anything about it , they tried to blame the fitter , the materials used I.e. the glue the temperature, the storage of the boxes , . What a shameful company , I spent over £3000 pounds on a floor that’s in my opinion not fit for purpose, thank you Loraine head of polyflor north England , what a disgrace , I expected more from a multi billion pound company like so many disappointed customers Ployflor do not give a dam about customer service, trading standards I think shall be the answer , forgot to mention that guess who tested? Polyflor themselves , avoid at all costs isn’t honest opinion stick to carpet vinyl or tiles or wood

Replaced our 12yr old Moduleo flooring with this rubbish. Floor scratches really easy. When we complained they sent a nice fent out to tell us it's all our fault for having metal kitchen chairs. The same chairs that for 12 years haven't made a mark. Clearly the product is not hard wearing nor is it fit for purpose. Seriously buy Karndean or Amtico because you will regret buying Polyflor, we do.

I thought that such a big company would have a serious attitude towards its customers, but I was wrong. We are a large company from Lithuania. We tried to work with Polyflor (representative:Thomas Reed), but when inquiries are answered after a week or more, they decide that they are not really interested in us. The end result is that Mr. T. Reed does not want to work with us.
Another thing is about the LVT tables, which are of poor quality and do not meet the technical characteristics (due to dimensional stability).
Biggest cons: Sales rep (T. Reed) and product quality.
If you do not draw conclusions, your business will soon have very big problems because there are many companies in the market that care about their customers.

We purchased Camaro LVT Isla concrete floating floor system to go in our brand new kitchen in June 23. We saw the product advertised in one of the kitchen showrooms that we viewed. Based on the colour and the fact that we had Amtico lvt in our hall
already we decided to use that product.
Within 6 months we noticed that some of the tiles were parting and some were bunching up. We contacted our fitter (whom we have used many times over the years) He came and took up some of the tiles and replaced them with our spares. Over the following months the problem became worse so I telephoned Polyflor to discuss. The initial question was "is it laid in front of full length or patio doors"? No it wasn't. I said it appeared that the tiles were expanding and contracting and was this possible. The man I spoke to then went on to try and blind me with science about how this was happening and that they must have been laid incorrectly with no gap around the edge to allow for this phenomenon.
I said " how could this be a problem when the majority are under the plinths which were cut to allow for a gap"? Also there is a heavy 6 seater table and 6 chairs on top of the flooring, so how can the tiles move about then?
They did not appear to be able to answer this question but went on to say we should complain to our fitter who should complain to his supplier and they should complain to Polyflor who would send a member of staff out to check the fitting. Obviously they were not willing to take ownership of the problem and hoped we would go away.
My complaints are as follows.
Why sell a product to go in bathrooms and kitchens and even suitable for underfloor heating when clearly this is is not the case. Polyflor have clearly invested money in inventing this product and are unwilling to accept its foibles and withdraw it and compensate those affected.
Why do they not put a clear disclaimer on all advertised products that expansion/contraction WILL occur. Not hide it in the very small print or fitting instructions which are already in the box when you have bought it.
Unless you live in some kind of cave there is no way any condition will be suitable for this flooring.
Who wants beading hanging off the skirting boards to hide the unsightly gap?
Why do they reference snagging can occur when there are many different angles and shapes in most kitchens. Unless it is a perfect square.
My fitter did complain but he is sure that Ployflor will do their best to wriggle out of any obligation.
We are now in discussions with our fitter to have the entire floor ripped up and replaced at hugh cost to all parties.
NEVER BUY THIS PRODUCT and hope you never have to deal with Polyflor

I wrote a review in July.
Here's what's happened since. Polyflor now deny sending a rep out to look at our floor. This rep was definitely here in my home - and produced a report on the flooring - to deny this is weird to say the least.
Is it just another gaslighting tactic? We have Trading Standards involved now.
I stand by my July review. Don't do business with this company. They treat their customers with utter contempt.

We had a poly floor fitted and it has been a godsend, we had it done because of the ease of cleaning after the dogs. And after it was fitted my partner decided they wanted a new kitchen, the old kitchen was dragged across it, and it still looked good, in my opinion this stuff is very hard wearing

Had polyflor installed 2021 75sq meters. lasted 12 months before it started to split. Inspected by polyflor and they said it shouldn't have been fitted in the room as it has windows which caused heat and this caused to splitting. customer services were appalling. Avoid at all cost very poor product and after sales.

I ordered the glue from Ployflor for a vinyl flooring. Paid in full. Waited over a week and they still missed 1 tub of glue or 3. Told them and had to wait another week and half for the next delivery which was wrong anyway. Now they saying another week wait.

Completely useless. Don't give a damn about customers. Go somewhere else - anyone else would be better.

Got polyflor Camaro dry back fitted to lounge and expona fitted to kitchen/ diner and it looks amazing. Excellent price. Highly recommend

Boycott Polyflor and all companies associated to James Halstead PLC, they are an extremely unethical company.

Flooring advertised as commercial but used in my house and has scratched so easy all over. We followed all guides using pads and putting a protective cleaner on it but its not worked. Colour has also faded. Contacted them direct and they are very dismissive and wont deal with the issue. Keep saying i need to pay for a floor repair kit. Such a poor customer service and would not recommend. WASTE OF MONEY

I had Polyflor Camaro loc fitted in my kitchen, livingroom and hallway and within a few weeks I noticed it bubbling and rippling. After several repeated contacts a Sales Rep finally came to visit and spent most of her time trying to get her business card under the skirting board! She also said whoever laid the floor had made an immaculate job doing so!
The report came back advising skirting boards should have been left "above" the flooring with at least 5-10mm gap and it was also the heat coming through the french doors! The floor was fitted by professionals using all the recommended products, including underlay. I replied with my own photographs of "gaps" and also quotes from their own website which claims it is suitable for laying on top of underfloor heating so why would a Scottish winter sun allow the floor to bubble like this. I sent this on 22nd November and have had no further response from either Polyfloor or HFD Scotland. Lesson learned - I wish I had read the reviews before buying as it seems many others have the same issue and Polyflor have dismissed us all.

Just had some Camaro Dryback vinyl tiles fitted with a floor comany and it's amazing so hard wearing and durable.
It was a difficult decision to make what to have as large family and a messy dog so pleased that I picked Polyflor..

Bought Camaro loc flooring for new extension. After going into my garden and leaving my back door open for about 30 minutes when I returned the floor looked like it had a dead body under it. This is because the sunlight in March is so strong it caused the floor to twist and buckle. This flooring is a joke. Polyflor said it should only be fitted by profession floor fitters so its my fault. Polyflor find any detail to blame other than the real reason which is the floor is not fit for purpose, unless of course you live in a bat cave which is at a constant temperature of 18 degrees centigrade with no furniture or skirting boards.....
