Stamford Plumbing Arvostelua 

Engineer failed to turn up. No apology. Said they would be back in touch to rearrange. I left 2 messages and they finally got back to me the next day with dates 10 days away. My boiler warranty now not valid. Avoid.

New bathroom fitted. From the initial survey to quotation was very swift and gave us great customer service. The installation itself was carried out with minimal disruption to us and finished to a high standard surpassing our expectations. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

My neighbours instructed Stamford Plumbing. Since then, their van has repeatedly been parked in a way that completely blocks my private driveway. On one occasion, when I contacted the company politely to ask for the vehicle to be moved, the request was ignored.

This is not a minor inconvenience. I require clear access to my driveway at all times due to my child having a serious medical condition that may require urgent hospital access at short notice. This was explained, yet there was a complete lack of care or consideration shown.

To make matters worse, the company later denied that the driveway had been blocked, despite photographic evidence showing otherwise. I am deeply concerned that inaccurate information has been relayed internally rather than the issue being addressed responsibly.

Professional tradespeople should understand the importance of safety, access, and respectful conduct — particularly when working in residential areas. Unfortunately, based on both my direct interaction and subsequent events, I cannot recommend Stamford Plumbing and have serious concerns about their standards of professionalism and ethics

UPDATE: It wasn't 'temporary' he blocked the driveway several times and when I asked him to move it the last time he said he would do in 5-10 minutes (no reason why he couldn't do it immediately) 1 hour later and he still hadn't moved it. I asked again and he flat out refused. I appreciate the apology but I would prefer it came from him.

Absolutely fantastic service! We had a leak upstairs that could have caused serious damage to all the recent renovation work downstairs. They arrived within 10 minutes of my call—even at 8pm in the evening—and had everything sorted within half an hour. Professional, efficient, and very reasonably priced. Stamford Plumbing were extremely professional from the initial phone call through to completion of the work undertaken. We required a new boiler, radiators and shower and the quote was received in a timely manner, the dates agreed to undertake the work communicated and completed in the days allocated. The plumbers were polite, accommodating and even fixed additional items they found. They worked efficiently, tidied up at the end of the day. Would recommend to anyone requiring any of the services they deliver.

We already use Stamford Plumbing for our boiler service. So pleased we chose them for upgrades to our en-suites. Chris and the team have done a great job fitting the new shower heads and screens, plastering and re-tiling. Both en-suites look so much better.
The guys were friendly, polite and efficient and worked hard to complete the job on time with minimum disruption to the household.
We would have no hesitation in using them again.

I had Chris out to fit new taps, bath panel and shower screen, he was very professional and did a great job, couldn't be happier with it all. Would highly recommend!

We cannot thank Stamford plumbing enough. They came out to quote for a new boiler within two hours of me calling them. They then installed the new boiler two days later. Both engineers Max and Martin were so professional and diligent. They were extremely careful whilst working around our house and explained the work as they went along. Excellent service from start to finish from all employees.

I cannot say enough good things about Mark who came to reconnect my gas supply. He made a new connection to the meter, found a massive gas leak in a disused gas pipe and made everything safe. He was so professional and polite. Really, I would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent service and regular updates for confirmation of service date, reminder in advance and update when Engineer was on route with anticipated time of arrival. The Engineer was very efficient and completed work quickly. Just waiting for the certificate to be emailed through but have no doubt this will arrive this week. Definitely would recommend the company based on this first experience.

Responded quickly to request for a quote on a toilet repair, were able to come out sooner than expected and willing to work around my working hours. Plumber arrived a bit later than initially stated but kept me updated by phone and made sure he had time to confirm the part he needed and get to the wholesaler for it. Repair was carried out quickly and professionally with all rubbish cleared away.
