Very disappointing experience with PlayUp.

I contacted customer support with a simple question about the wagering requirements of a promotion I was participating in. Instead of receiving clarification, all of my bonuses were suddenly removed from my account shortly after asking the question.

I did not breach any terms (to my knowledge). I only asked for an explanation of how the wagering worked. The timing makes it feel like I was penalized simply for asking for transparency.

As someone new to Australia on a Working Holiday Visa, I expected clear communication and fair treatment. Instead, this situation has left me confused and frustrated.

I hope PlayUp can properly review this and provide a clear explanation, because this experience does not build trust.

Would not recommend based on this experience.

shady site, fake promo

PlayUp advertised and credited me $100 in bonus cash from two "bonus back" bets I placed. After this they limited my account from "promotional products and markets" which also prevented me from using my bonus cash. Instead of honoring this earned benefit, customer support simply removed the bonus cash when I enquired about it, leaving me with nothing. Shady bait and switch tactics from a bookie that restricts winners then reneges on preexisting credits. I've used a lot of bookies and this is up there with the worst of them.

I only give it one because you have to.

I joined playup originally because it was Australian owned. A few months back i had a good run of results with exotics but then was losing my acct rapidly and they cut me off all exotic bets. I could only place a win and place bet. Has anyone heard anything so stupid. A betting agency that doesn't allow exotic betting. They then allowed me to use the get 50% of a bet back on nominated races. Now they have cut that off. I don't understand how they run this business. They have made a lot of money off me so obviously the marketing team don't look at the bottom line. Without a doubt the worst gambling site on the market.

I set up an account with play up and was verified by play up but when I came to request two withdrawals my account was blocked and I had to supply bank statements and give a stat statement that I was the only user of the play up account I am Vietnam veteran and aged 77 and I have now to get assistance to do this and provide this to play up dispite I was verified at the outset. my impressions are that playup are shaky and delay withdrawals because they dont have cash flow regards John kelly

small timers, declined $2500 bet on anthony joshua vs jake paul. odds only 1.1, on a very big boxing match at the time, with the same odds available on every website. i could have just bet it easily anywhere else.

Terrible customer service. Called after they stopped any promotions and bonuses without reason after 4 days. Got told they don’t have to say why and told me I can close the account. I did this and they sent an email saying I had self exempt myself from playup (implying I had a gambling issue)

Game selection’s broad enough, though a lot of repeats from elsewhere. Withdrawals work fine, it just didn’t really grab me.

Placed one bet, got accused of fraud and had my bonus cash removed..

Opened my very first betting account in my whole life, placed one bet using their bonus cash, and I got banned!!!!!

Wow I’ll never have anything good to say about them. I knew I should have went with tab or one of the other more popular ones.
Play up can keep their bonus crap cash. I shall remove my cash from there and that’s it for me with them. Shocking experience!!!!!

Signed up for PlayUp because of their $100 sign-up bonus, thinking it’d be a fun way to try betting. Big mistake. I put a $20 bonus bet on a horse race, and it lost right away, which is whatever, that’s how betting goes. But then, boom, they banned me from promos with zero explanation. I hit up their live chat, and all they said was, “Oh, it’s up to the trading team.” Like, what does that even mean? No details, no help, just a total brush-off.

Honestly, it feels like a straight-up scam. The bonus is just a shiny lure to get you in, then they slap you with a ban the second you use it. Save your cash and steer clear of PlayUp. Their customer service is a joke, and it seems like they’re just out to trick people.

Slow payment on winnings, far from user friendly, no instant withdrawal yet they take instant deposits? False advertising re promos, long wait with live chat, no first past the post payouts!
Probably the worse app I've ever used!

Scam website limited my account within a week because I made money beware

Terrible bookmaker, terrible ods and they removed promotions and the option to live bet for no reason - "traders decision". The rules they operate on are dodgy and predatory, would not recommend this low outfit to anyone.

They offered decent odds and immediate withdrawal of funds

They use predatory practices, such as requiring funds deposited to be bet a certain number of times before you can withdraw it. Very poor customer service as well

This company is nothing more than a scam. They started charging me $10 per month for dormant account fee. When in queried this they said they would get back to me the next day. They didnt. Ive contacted them four times and each occasion had the promise of them contacting me back; they never did. This went on for two months and in those two months they further deducted funds from my account. My last contact which again was initiated by me they flatly refused to reimburse me funds they had taken. Be vary aware of this company. If you have any issue it will not get resolved. They will completely ignore your correspondence.

Signed up with the Playup as the promotions they offered sounded good. The same day I signed up, they banned all promotions on my account before I had even placed a bet with them and without giving me any notification. When I questioned this on their live chat they were extremely rude and told me that I agreed to these terms and conditions when I signed up and they had every right to ban promotions without the need to give a reason or notification.
