Piglet's Pantry Arvostelua 

Tried to order an afternoon tea for my parents several times as they received a voucher. It would not go through. Could not find any contact details to get support. The voucher was for £40 and the afternoon tea ws £35 but they only deducted the £35 not the full value of the voucher so there would still have been £6.50 delivery to them to pay! Not impressed!

Following my disappointment in the summer and subsequent complaint which lead to quite a battle, Piglets Pantry did offer a replacement afternoon tea which arrived today with no drama and the delivery experience positive. The contents of the afternoon tea look delicious and we look forward to consuming them. Thank you Piglets Pantry 🙂😋

I use these all the time. The carrot cake is amazing and there is so much meat in the sausage rolls. Great value for money for a very impressive afternoon tea box.

All the food was v v fresh and delicious and tasty to eat.
The lemon drizzle cake is to die for.
My afternoon tea box didnt arrive until 5.30 which was disappointing.
If you want your tea served at a conventional afternoon tea time. Order your box for delivery the day before. It will stay fresh in my opinion.

From start to finish its been a right mess .
A very long story , but I shall try to cut it short .
Ordered from a gift voucher ( savoury Afternoon tea for 2 ) that a friend had given to me. The date I organised had got cancelled due to heatwave high temperatures . I totally understood 😏 .
Rearranged a new delivery date . We stayed indoors ALL day just for it to finally arrive at 9.15PM evening . It had been in transit for 20 hours . We only live an hour away from them 🙄. I instantly sent a complaint ( with regards to the temperature of the food and lack of chilled support ) via email , which took them ' 3 days ' to reply . They offered a goodwill gesture of a replacement . I instantly replied to rearrange a new delivery date .' 6 days ' later I had to contact THEM as I hadn't recieve any reply.
They replied to me and in that reply was LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of other customers messages including those customers personal E-mail addresses. I contacted to highlight that this was a personal data protection breach . Which took them ' 4 days ' to response 😲 .They explained there was an investigation into why this happened . ( It's their MASSIVE issue, so we shall leave that paticular problem for them to sort / investigate 😬 ) .
The latest email they offered me complementary items for my inconvenience. I organised for the ' goodwill gesture ' replacement and explained that as we had wasted a whole day waiting for our original order , I pushed them for a 1 hour time slot . The day arrived and I did get the 1 hour slot but it was 7.01 -8.01 PM at NIGHT 🙄 .My delivery was in transit for over 17 hours without sufficient chilling facilities . To add insult to this , there was NO complimentary items enclosed either . False promises !!! A letdown 🤬 .
I emailed with my disgust about my whole experience of this company . It took over ' 3 days ' to get a reply , which was full of apologies.
The food that we could actually reheat ( to ensure it was safe to eat ) the following day was nice but it has left me rather angry 😠. I feel the customer service from this company is a disgrace and have told them that the courier they use needs to be changed .

Afternoon tea well disappointed, scones dry ad anything from freezer burn I suspect and cakes although looked appealing were dry as anything ,won't try again

Ordered an afternoon tea on 12/9. Earliest delivery date was 16/9.
Courier was DpD. Had msg from DpD on 15/9 to advise an hour’s delivery slot the following day would be sent to me.
Never heard any more from DPD or Piglets.
Delivery didn’t arrive on 16/9.

17/9 I rang PP. v helpful girl who told me that it had gone to another city first then Dpd had taken it back to their depot without attempting to deliver it, reason unknown, but that it would be delivered the following day. However she said that because PP couldn’t guarantee the storage of it overnight it was to rendered inedible and was not to be consumed.
The recipient then called PP to agree a new date for a re-order to be delivered to suit them. This was to be 22/9.

Order didn’t arrive.
No communication from PP or any carrier. Recipient now on holiday. Order was cancelled.

Poor, unacceptable customer service (apart from the helpful girl)
When there’s so many other companies to choose from out there I won’t be using PP again nor recommending them to others as I was hoping to.

Wishing I had researched them and reviews better in first place and prob would have steered clear to start with.

Ordered afternoon tea for 2 delivery using Buyagift voucher.Such an easy process from start to finish with excellent communication from Piglet's Pantry.
Delivered via DPD on agreed date (1 hr window of delivery notification given).
The box was packed full of delicious sweet and savoury goodies (we took 2 days to get through it !!).
We will certainly use Piglet's Pantry again :)

We will definitely be return customers.

won a red letter day afternoon tea in a raffle organised by Shepherds Port BAR for NARS . decided to have one to home that we could enjoy on a weekend away. the 1st delivery failed from DPD. the customer service was fantastic and they advised me not to consume it as they couldn't guarantee how DPD stored it overnight. so they re arranged another delivery for me. it arrived on time and looks amazing.
Everything was delicious. The carrot cake was particularly good. The scotch eggs and sausage rolls yummy. Everything seemed really fresh and tasty. Cannot fault the customer care. They responded promptly to emails and Facebook messenger. Would definately order again.

We ordered an afternoon tea from Piglets Pantry, having previously had one around five years ago, and unfortunately the quality seems to have changed considerably.

The only item we really enjoyed was the sausage rolls. The scones were spongy, and the cakes were essentially the same sponge with different icing, which we didn’t find particularly enjoyable.

The Scotch eggs were especially disappointing. The eggs had a watery texture and, unfortunately, they ended up in the bin.

Overall, we were really disappointed, especially given how much we enjoyed the afternoon tea we had from Piglets Pantry previously. There are better companies out there, and sadly we wouldn’t order again.

Absolutely amazing. I’m truly flabbergasted to read negative reviews because I have not as yet been remotely disappointed. Vona and Lianne (Phoned twice because I’m an idiot) are absolutely fantastic. Their customer service is 2nd to none. Absolutely hilarious but very professional and I’m very grateful for their support. I love piglets pantry hampers. In this day and age, you can just phone and get through and get help. I have purchased seven hampers so far and the quality is perfect. Keep doing what you’re doing because I’m very impressed.

This was bought for my birthday last week by a friend. The food temperature of the higher risk foods on checking was 20’c
A replacement was sent out yesterday due to deciding it was too risky to eat the initial delivery,
The second delivery the ice packs were warm and empty and the food temperature for the higher risk foods was 16’c. Decided against eating it !

Well after false promises , empty words and untrue accusations Piglets Pantry continue to disappoint. Despite agreeing the DPD delivery driver was in the wrong they continue to refuse to accept responsibility for ruining a much looked forward to treat. Time for further action and a Small Money Claim for through Gov.UK

I received the afternoon tea for two this morning as a get well gift.

All the items were extremely warm due to the "cold bags" being completely deflated, which made the box wet and soggy.

This is very disappointing as this was a gift and I have had to dispose all the food items away for health and safety reasons and all I have left is two teabags and 2 mini pots of jam!

Looking at previous comments, I do not believe there will be any meaningful recompense!!

The Piglet's Pantry Afternoon Tea for Two was absolutely delightful. We loved the variety of savoury treats, especially the Quiche Lorraine, Scotch eggs, and sausage rolls, which were all packed with flavour. The homemade-style scones with jam and cream were superb, and the selection of cakes, including carrot cake, Victoria sponge, and lemon loaf, was simply delicious.

Everything was beautifully presented, fresh, and of excellent quality. It made for a very special afternoon, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Piglet's Pantry to anyone looking for a first-class afternoon tea.

Have as yet not received any response to my previous review dated 5th August,awful customer service. I suppose the next step will be to call them and listen to some pathetic response to my complaint, so until they do respond I shall keep sending poor reviews.

Ordered the afternoon tea which was delivered exactly on time and well packed.
Really good selection of both savoury and sweet; the cakes (carrot, sponge and lemon drizzle) especially were delicious.
Although designed for 2 people it took 3 of us to demolish it all!

I recently placed two orders! Piglets Pantry is a company I have never used and thought the idea was pretty awesome. I knew my dad and my stepdad would love this as a birthday gift.

I never received email confirmations which had me a bit iffy but I had screengrabbed one of the order details just incase.

I will not be using this company again and will not recommend - purely because of the lack of apology that came with the issue. I didn't want any refund (offered a 10% discount on futre orders) and then when I went back again, disappointed, I was refunded for the cards. Six pounds.

What has bothered me the most is the apology was not sincere. It was a 'sorry - here is 10% off' then 'sorry - we'll refund the card price of 3 pounds'.

I don't live in the UK any more so it matters so much when a gift is personalised. This totally ruined the process and upset my parents and me greatly in the process.

I have used Piglets pantry many times in the past for both myself and as gifts for friends and family. I purchased another hamper near the end of June which arrived absolutely destroyed . It had been ordered for a special occasion and because of the nature of the occasion I had to go out and repurchase items to replace the damaged ones . I reached out to Piglets Pantry immediately and they still haven’t responded to me . I feel this is very poor and the company has gone down hill , they have definitely had enough time to respond me. I’m not sure if I will use again after this encounter
