**One star is more than this experience deserves\.**

We bought our car from Phantom in September and felt pressured into buying a warranty\. We asked about it several times over the following days before agreeing\.

When the car was delivered, we found issues that had not been fixed, including a faulty rear window, a broken front air vent and a damaged passenger seat\. We also have records which, in our understanding, show that the car was driven to us without a valid MOT and that the MOT had failed before the vehicle was sold\.

Three or four months later, the engine failed\. Since then, we have been passed back and forth between Phantom and the warranty company\. We were asked to arrange diagnostics several times and paid for them ourselves\. The warranty company told us they had nothing to do with the car and directed us back to Phantom; Phantom directed us back to the warranty company\. We have recordings and emails relating to these conversations\.

For around six months, we have been left without the car, without a clear repair timeline and without proper updates\. We have continued paying more than £1,000 a month in finance and insurance\. We have repeatedly called and emailed, raised the matter with managers, and involved the Financial Ombudsman and the finance company\. We are still waiting for a clear answer\.

We have also received emails saying that a specialist is in high demand, but no firm date or resolution\. Calls have gone unanswered or been ended, and promised callbacks have not happened\. We do not want another vague promise that someone will contact us\. We want our car returned in a proper working condition, or our money back\.

A diagnostic report has also raised concerns for us about the vehicle’s mileage history\. We are seeking answers about that as part of the complaint\.

This has been an exhausting and costly experience\. Based on what we have personally experienced, I would strongly advise others to be very cautious before buying a vehicle or warranty from Phantom\. We have kept the emails, call recordings, diagnostic reports and payment records, and are considering our next steps\.

I would give zero stars if the option were available

We enquired about viewing a Jag F-Pace. Gary came back to us very quickly to get us booked in to view the car. We noticed a few things that we wanted rectifying before we then picked it up. Gary had everything in hand and ensured it was immaculate for our collection. There was good communication throughout and no pushy sales tactics which can be rare nowadays! Would definitely recommend

I experienced an issue with my newly acquired car over the weekend, so I emailed the Phantom Motors aftersales team. First thing on Monday morning, Clarisse called me, and within just two hours, Tom had collected my car and taken it to Phantom Motors’ workshop.

I’d like to say a huge thank you to Clarisse for providing such fabulous aftersales service. She kept me fully updated throughout the process, and to my delight, my car was repaired and returned to me in a very short space of time.

Well done and thank you to Clarisse, Tom, and the mechanic who quickly resolved the issue. The level of customer service and aftersales support has been absolutely first-class. It’s reassuring to know you’re in such good hands, even after you’ve driven away with your new car.

ACHTUNG – äußerst problematischer Verkäufer!
Ich habe bei Phantom Motors (Vechta, Deutschland) einen BMW-Scheinwerfer für 500 € gekauft und den Betrag am 21.08.2026 per Banküberweisung bezahlt.
Am 02.09.2026 erhielt ich jedoch nicht den bestellten BMW-Scheinwerfer, sondern einen falschen Scheinwerfer für einen Audi Q2. Ich habe den Verkäufer unmittelbar darüber informiert.
Am 04.09.2026 versprach mir Phantom Motors ausdrücklich, die 500 € unverzüglich nach Erhalt der Rücksendung zurückzuzahlen. Auf diese Zusage habe ich mich verlassen und den falsch gelieferten Scheinwerfer zurückgesendet. Die Ware wurde nachweislich beim Verkäufer zugestellt.
Bis heute wurde mir das Geld trotzdem nicht zurückerstattet. Auf meine weiteren Nachrichten wird teilweise überhaupt nicht mehr reagiert.
Besonders enttäuschend ist, dass der Verkäufer die Rückzahlung selbst ausdrücklich zugesagt hat und die falsch gelieferte Ware längst zurückerhalten hat. Trotzdem behält er weiterhin mein Geld.
Ich habe sämtliche Unterlagen, Überweisungsbeleg, Nachrichten, Versand- und Zustellnachweise sowie die Kommunikation vollständig gesichert.
Da trotz mehrfacher Aufforderung keine Rückzahlung erfolgt ist, werde ich den Vorgang strafrechtlich prüfen lassen und Strafanzeige erstatten. Zusätzlich behalte ich mir die vollständige Durchsetzung meiner zivilrechtlichen Ansprüche vor.
Meine persönliche Erfahrung: absolut nicht empfehlenswert.
Ich kann von einem Kauf bei diesem Verkäufer aufgrund dieses Ablaufs nur dringend abraten.

My rangerover came in for waranty repair on reversing camera and air bag fault and it was handled by Ava, who I could not fault one bit, the process was made effortlessly by Ava so big 5 stars to her who made the process from start to finish simple thanks again 👍
