They genuinely work. We wear them at home and abroad.

Generally seem to work well, but don’t last as long as you might think. I got bitten directly underneath one on my ankle! Changed frequently they appear to be quite effective.

Great bracelets and work a treat!

Bracelets are easy to wear and I’ve not been bitten since wearing them. I’ve recommended them to friends.

They do look great and I can affirm no skin irritation caused by these bracelets. However... That's where the positive comments end. In terms of keeping wee beasties away and preventing insect bites I would have to describe the product as totally redundant. Even fresh out of the packet, insects were still munching away and includes bites sustained within 1cm of the bracelet!
As a family, we were doubling up and wearing them on ankles and wrists from the moment we arrived at our destination, replacing after a couple of days (despite the 300 hour claim). Sadly, even this wasn't enough and I'm afraid our experience of this product is very much one of style over substance.

We have used these bands for a few years now following a holiday without them when my husband had in excess of 100 bites on his legs. Since using them he has not been bitten and for the next holiday we have ordered the new non tie bands as I think they will be easier to put on wouldn’t go on holiday now without them

Unfortunately didn’t work for me, despite me wearing a wrist and ankle bracelet. Bitten alive in Italy!!

I'd like to leave zero stars. These are absolutely rubbish despite smelling strongly of citronella. I looked down and saw a mosquito biting me less than an inch above a fresh from the packet bracelet.

Got bitten all over my legs in the Caribbean despite using fresh ones. There's no way they last as long as they claim either.

Don't waste your money.

I have no idea what the people leaving 5* reviews are doing differently. I have the genuine branded item bought directly from the company's website and they're useless.

I have bought multiple packs of these. They are an absolute life saver. As someone who is usually an insect buffet on holiday, these have kept me bite free on safari and in more local destinations like Greece which can be terrible for mosquitos. 5 stars! Really rate!

I used to get bitten by pretty much everything, midges, mosquitoes, horseflies...a horse, but that's another story! However the last few holidays I've been on I've used Pestects wristbands and not a single bite! Definitely exceeded my expectations!! Second on my list of things to take on holiday with my passport being first!!

A month ago I was being eaten alive, it seemed like anything with a sting in its tail was feeding off me !!!! I bought a pack of Pestects bracelets half hoping perhaps they would deter some of the insects, not in my wildest dreams thinking they would stop them all. I have gone from having twenty mosquito bites a month ago to absolutely nothing at all since wearing these, they are absolutely amazing 🤩

2 stars because they used to be brilliant. The woven fabric bracelets work great and I don't get bitten at all. I recently bought the spiral shaped plastic bracelets and swapped to these when on holiday and my bracelets needed replacing. My husband had been bitten all over and I was fine. Until I swapped to the plastic bracelets. I am now covered, including 2 bites that are right next to the bracelets. Husband and 3 children all wearing the bracelets and all covered in bites after one day wearing them. What a waste of money.

Purchased these mosquito repellent bracelets hoping they would stop us getting bitten while on holiday. Unfortunately, they made no difference at all. Despite wearing them every day, I was still bitten multiple times, including bites on the same arm and leg as the bracelet. Family members were also bitten multiple times. As a result it left us miserable and unable to enjoy our holiday due to the number of bites on our legs and arms. They simply didn’t provide the protection they claim.

Looking into it afterwards, I found other independent reviews suggesting these bracelets perform poorly compared with other mosquito deterrents.

I really wish I’d done more research before buying them. I wouldn’t recommend these if you’re relying on them to protect you from mosquito bites.

Sadly, and I was really hopeful that they would, these bands are completely ineffective.
I have put 4 on ankles and wrists and have several mosquito bites, even around the bracelets themselves!!
Don't bother. The only thing that works is maximum strength DEET, jungle formula.

I purchased the bracelets and the spray for our family holiday to Majorca. Bracelets and spray are useless for stopping mosquito bites. Have gone back to using proper insect repellent. Don't waste your money on these products.

I am always bitten when on holiday. This year I discovered pestects. My initial thoughts were that these bracelets can’t possibly work, but I was going to Egypt and had read reviews that the mozzies were rife so I thought”let’s give them a go”. Wow was I suprised … not one bite throughout the entire holiday. I wore the gold bracelet which looked very trendy. Will definatley purchase again
