If I could give them a zero I would! Paid for more expensive postage to get my item in time, but still arrived after the agreed date. Returned the item for a refund as it arrived after the date I had needed it for. They have not refunded me despite numerous emails and attempts to contact. They’ve basically stolen my money. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

I am really sorry that your order did arrive with you a day late and for the inconvenience caused. Over World Book day we did have some major delays in the warehouse which unfortunately, caused some orders to go out later than normal - this is being reviewed to find ways to prevent this from happening again. The last thing we want to do is ship orders late and you guys not receive your items on time.

Ran off with my money...
After purchasing some items from the companies e-bay page I discovered the company had failed to include all of the items listed. Ebay did not cover this in their buyer protections meaning I'm over £100 out of pocket for items that never arrived because this company just ignored the request knowing if they did nothing they could pocket my money with seemingly no consequences.
Would strongly advise to avoid this company.

Ordered boxed ballon bouquet seletcted delivery day, and 2 days after due date, order has still not arrived. Contacted “customer services” but no response!!! Avoid like the plague, they only want your money and don’t care about the customer!

I've had a look into your order for you, I can see you sent our customer service team an email on the 3rd of April at 3pm - they then responded on the 4th of April at 10am to ask for further information that they needed to issue you a refund.

Won’t replace damaged item.
Ordered plates, cups etc for my son’s birthday. Arrived in cardboard box and one pack of cups crushed. Sent an email asking for replacement and reply came that we won’t be replacing and will refund. Not good as already have plates etc. will not be using again and deserve to close.

Firstly, I just wanted to apologize that you received your order and an item was damaged - we do package all items sufficiently to give them the best chance of arriving in pristine condition but unfortunately, on some rare occasions an item can arrive damaged.
Our customer service team will always do what they can to get any issues resolved for you. Due to the warehouse being extremely busy at the time of your issue unfortunately a replacement just couldn't be sent out which is why a refund was processed.
I appreciate that you did want a replacement and I am sorry that on this occasion we couldn't do that for you.

Ordered 6 weeks before was needed. Was informed at this time that it would arrive in 3-4 weeks. I contacted customer service after a month. Was told that they were experiencing problems shipping to Ireland & had no EDD. No update on order other than when I enquired. Did receive refund pretty quickly

Unfortunately, as mentioned to you via email we are having some technical issues with the courier company we use for orders in Ireland at the moment which is causing some delays on shipping orders.
We have changed our shipping times to 3-4 weeks to compensate for this and I am truly sorry your order went on longer than this.
I have passed over this issue to our operations manager so that this can be looked into - we're doing all we can to get orders to Ireland shipped on a timely manner and we're hoping shipping will be back to normal shortly.

I am fuming to say the least
I am fuming to say the least. Placed an order on 12/02/2025. Over €150 worth for my Sons upcoming 21st Party. Received order confirmation. Said E.T.A. 13th of March. Money taken. By 13th no sign of order. No despatch/shipping notifications either. Website still says 'Preparing to pick'. No reply to emails sent. No reply to messages to their FB and Insta page. No phone number to ring. Then I Google company and see all these bad reviews and that they have gone into Adminstration since last summer? How is the website still allowed to operate? Taking people's money? Disgusting.

Firstly I just wanted to express our deepest apologies that you've had a negative experience, this is the last thing we would ever want for our customers.
I just wanted to address the administration part of your review - it is true that Party Delights did go into administration in August last year however, the company was bought out by another company and is now trading again and has been since August.
I've had a look through our emailing system and am unable to find any emails from you - I will email you now so we can get this resolved.
In regards to our Facebook account unfortunately, we don't currently have access and haven't since the change over. The marketing team are working closely will META to try and get us back into the account but this is why you haven't received any replies via social media which apologize for.
With the shipment of your item unfortunately, we are having some technical issues with the courier company we ship to Ireland with which is why we've extended the delivery timeframe on the website but we are hoping this will be resolved soon and the orders will ship in the usual faster time frame.

Really disappointed
Really disappointed. Like many mums ordered an outfit for world book day well within the time frame of delivery.
However I was later emailed it wouldn't arrive on time. So I returned when it eventually arrived.
Firstly how can a costume company not anticipate high volume of orders on the 1 day in the year costumes are needed? I mean you have one main job?
Secondly after returning my item and sending numerous emails and proof of return to chase my refund I haven't received any refund.
Very disappointed with this service next time I will stick to Amazon.

We do always anticipate a rise in orders and we staff accordingly for this but unfortunately, we had some technical issues with our warehouse which caused major problems - please know that this has all now been resolved and we have systems in place to prevent this from happening again.

I'm really sorry that your order arrived with you late, as mentioned in many of the replies we did have some issues surrounding the dates of world book day which unfortunately, resulted in orders going out late.
We appreciate how frustrating this must have been and are truly sorry, please know that it was investigated and systems have now been put in place to prevent this from happening again.
However, due to the delays it's also caused a big influx of returns which is why they're taking a little longer to process.
I've had a look and can see that our CS team have been in constant contact with you and once they received the proof of postage a full refund was given including the original postage due to the delay.

Ordered an item for world book day paid for express delivery had an email the day before saying it wont arrive in time it arrived 2 days after world book day so i requested pick up from royal mail had the item picked up for return and refund had no refund its been nearly 3 weeks had an email saying they had not received the item yet and could they have proof of pick up and return sent them the proof it was returned and they have ignored all emails since and still no refund steer clear don't order from them no communication and no contact details only email which they ignore anyway disgusting

Do not purchase from this company – they are unreliable and untrustworthy. I placed a £50 order, which I returned within the specified time frame. However, they claim they never received the return and have refused to issue a refund. Despite numerous emails, I have yet to receive my money back. This isn’t the first time I’ve encountered this issue with them; it happened last year as well, and I foolishly gave them another chance. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this company unless you’re willing to risk losing your money

I've had a look into the emails you've had with our customer service team and can see that they have requested proof of postage from you.
Unfortunately, we haven't received your parcel and with this being sent back in January it would have arrived by now. For the returns department to process a refund they just need some form of proof of postage that this was shipped and then a refund will be processed.

I'm really sorry that you didn't receive your order and that this got lost in the post - I can confirm the tracking was sent to you to show that this was dispatched but got lost.
Where you have stated that our customer service team don't answer emails, I can see that you emails us on Friday the 21st of March in the evening to express that the order hadn't arrived and the team replied within 24 hours (working days) to apologize for this and processed a full refund.
I've checked your account and can see the refund was processed for you on the 24th of March and will have been back into your account within 5 days depending on your bank.
It is extremely rare for items to get lost in the post but unfortunately, on occasion this can happen but we will always accept the liability for this and process a replacement/refund for the customer.
Once again we apologize for the inconvenience that has been caused.

Avoid at all costs
Ordered various party bits for a child's 6th birthday party on Saturday 8th March, with an expected delivery date of 3rd March. No updates about shipping and e-mails requesting an update ignored. Cue me running around The Range and various other shops getting bits last minute. Typically, the stuff arrived on Sunday 9th March, the day after the party. It will be returned for a full refund and we will be expecting Party Delights to cover the return cost. This company is a joke. The only method of communication seems to be e-mail and they don't bother answering them in a reasonable time frame. Don't bother with them, you'll only cause yourself more stress.

Was advised my order would not arrive in time for World Book Day (blown away they proactively did this: entirely my fault for ordering too late). Order arrived when expected. Quality of items/3-pc fancy dress was great (attention to detail/fit). Was offered refund for late delivery but kept items & would recommend company to others.

Terrible Customer Service – Ignoring My Emails for Days
I am extremely disappointed with Party Delights' service. I ordered a costume for my son's World Book Day event and paid for faster delivery to ensure it arrived on time. However, I was later informed that the order would not arrive by March 4th as promised. Since I needed it for his school celebration on March 5th, I immediately emailed them to cancel my order and request a refund if they couldn’t guarantee the original delivery date.Unfortunately, no one read my email for over 24 hours, and by the time they finally responded, it was too late—the item had already been shipped. This is completely unfair because they had already acknowledged a delay and had enough time to prevent the shipment. As a result, I was forced to buy another costume elsewhere.Since I no longer need this item, I requested a return. Party Delights usually charges customers for returns, but this delay was entirely their fault, not mine. I believe it is only fair that they cover the return costs in this case. I reached out to them on March 11th to discuss this, but they have ignored every single email since then. They claim to respond within 48 hours, yet days have passed with no reply. I have sent multiple follow-ups, practically begging them to assist me, but they continue to ignore me.This is unacceptable customer service. A company that fails to help its customers or even acknowledge emails should not be trusted. I strongly discourage anyone from ordering from Party Delights unless you're prepared to pay for their mistakes and be completely ignored when you need assistance.

**Disappointed and Frustrated – Avoid This Company!**
I ordered balloons for a special birthday celebration, expecting them to arrive in perfect condition. Instead, I received **half-deflated balloons**, and the main birthday balloon was **torn and completely unusable**!
To make things even worse, I tried contacting customer service, but I got **no response at all**—no email replies, no phone support, absolutely nothing.
I really wish I had taken the time to read the reviews before ordering because it’s clear I’m not the only one who has experienced this. **Terrible quality and even worse customer service.** Do yourself a favour and order from a more reliable company!
