Not very competitive with car insurance for the older drivers in my experience. £904 quoted I got it for £680 with my original provider.

Used to regularly buy magazine and keep all copies for reference.
Only by chance found new web sites. Very impressed so far but needvto explore further to see if it's as informative as old style magazine book.

Very poor communication. I am yet to receive the valuation I requested. Gave up and got it elsewhere.

As a British ex-pat living in France (for over 30 years) who needed to replace her 15 year-old Renault Clio, it took me a while to discover Parkers reviews on the internet. But once I did, their team quickly became my most trusted guides to the bewildering range of brands and models on the market, with my interest firmly fixed on the least expensive ones.
I really appreciated the detailed breakdown of the reviews, the comparisons offered with similar models, and the longer-term evaluations (over six months' use). The written texts were well (and engagingly) supported by videos of road tests and, once I had reached the stage of demanding test drives (and I often needed to be persistent here), I could confirm the accuracy of Parkers' assessments.
I ended up leasing a car which I had not even considered on my initial (pre-Parkers) short-list and which had not even scored the highest ratings among those I had selected through them but their reviews were in all cases invaluable in pointing me towards the relevant questions to ask and weak spots to watch out for. My final choice was also partly determined by my first (and subsequent) impressions of the dealer I chose. They actually offered me a test-drive on my first visit (by far the longest, most agreeable and most useful of
the six I secured); they patiently answered all my questions and never for a moment put pressure on me to sign the contract; they even offered a post-delivery follow-up two weeks into my lease to deal with any queries or problems that might have cropped up during those early days.
I've now been driving my excellent new bottom-of-the-range car for nearly four months and am absolutely delighted with it. Thank you, Parkers!

I had a valuation of £23000 private sale and dealer of £27000. I sold it on Autotrader for £32000-do not trust their valuations!!

Paid car valuation is very disappointing. First, when you buy it, it does not say what optional extras they take into account to value the car. And they do not take into account the car defects, only equipment (Entertainment: Digital TV, High performance multimedia system with radio/CD/DVD 4x45W amp + 8 speakers + USB input; Premium sound multimedia system radio/CD/DVD, surround sound, 5 x 130w amp + 10 speakers + USB input; Exterior Body Features: Inscription paint, Metallic paint, Special solid paint; Packs: Sports pack - V40, Winter pack - V40 - SE Lux/R Design Lux/Cross, Country Lux, Xenium pack - V40; Wheels - Alloy: 18" Midir alloy wheels, 18" Taranis alloy wheels, 18" Taranis alloy wheels with winter tyres). It looks like they want to make the car appear more valuable than it might be in reality. Overall, not adequate and not accurate. And they made me pay for it 5 pounds. Not worth even a penny.

Parkers car valuation tool is very poor.
I was silly enough to pay, for a more accurate valuation. Other than mileage and paint, there is no facility to add anything for a more accurate valuation.
You can't add service history or ownership, which always makes a difference to a cars value. There's no helpful info how they have come to that valuation.
It's basically a rip off. Don't bother paying, just stick to the free valuation.

You may think ownership is irrelevant, but to many, so is the paint. If a car at a dealership had 5 owners and pearlescent paint and a similar had 1 owner and metallic paint, I'd be more inclined to pay the price for the latter. What makes a vehicle desirable to a customer is a personal choice. The combination of mileage, ownership and service, is far more important to the price than the type of paint. Even a colour can have more bearing on the price.
Dealerships will always advertise if a vehicle has had 1 owner in the advert than 2 or 3. I will look for ownership before the type of paint.
And if a vehicle is more difficult to sell, regardless of paint or ownership, then it's over priced.
So whilst you consider ownership irrelevant and the dealer won't be counting owners, I as a customer, I will. That's for sure.

Parkers' website is now behind a pay wall. Buyers have to pay a fee to be able to view car adverts. Whoever heard of a shop that you have to pay to enter, It's insane. I hope people selling cars through Parkers realise that they are not reaching thousands of potential buyers.

a website that requires payment to be able to deny cookies and partners not to collect your data , doing this they are forcing you to provide them with payment data to be able to pay them with no guarantee they are not still sharing your data with others

HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS , MOST LIKELY A SCAM TO GET YOUR MONEY

Sadly these plants were in transit by Royal Mail and took much too long to arrive in hot weather. long drink and some pruning as they had grown very tall. i am not certain that these plants will survive. Please do not rely on Royal Mail as they cannot be relied on to provide a prompt or reliable service despite the high charges.

There is some borderline scammy dark pattern UX here. While it's true that they do say on the valuations home page that the database runs from 2005 onwards, this is not called out in a clear way. The big feature on that page is the box to enter your registration. When you do that, even if your plate is clearly before that date, they will prompt you to pay for a custom valuation. After paying, you just end up at a "404 page not found" error. No message there explains why.
The answer is tucked away in the "contact us" FAQ, but if it's a frequently asked question maybe that's because your website is very unclear!
I had no reply from the feedback nor any offer of a refund. The purchase has expired now so I couldn't even use it on another car.
I would suggest avoiding this site if this is a sign of their business practices.

Easy to navigate site, was able to write my review without any issues, I always check Parkers for vehicle info etc before buying or selling as it is a valuable tool for up to date market prices and information.

Gave the worst value for my car and the worst quote for insurance they haven't got clue about the real market, the person giving these type of quotes ,needs to speak to Alan sugar he will tell him your fired

It helped me to find out what price I should be paying for a used car so I know if I’m being treated fairly by a dealer.
Only downside is I’m now getting emails every day.

Easy access to relevant technical information.

Some details are innaccurate on vehicle specifications e.g you select a specific model and year, and I know for a fact that the 1.6CRDi engine never came with a 6 speed gearbox like it says. Only the 2.0CRDi came with the 6 speed... It also says that particular year is Euro 5 (and to be fair it does warn you that you need to double check and it "may" be incorrect, but really, they are all euro 4 for that mk1 make of Kia Ceed so it IS not MAY be incorrrect). So why would I trust any specifications for other cars on their website?

I attempted to read a review from Parkers, what a painful experience!

Every sentence I was greeted with pop up after pop up. Adverts everywhere make it impossible to read anything in the article.
