Where to start... In short this company took 3 full installations to fit an en-suite bathroom. Poor workmanship does not begin to cut it. Their aftersales is woeful and the owners do not even have the courtesy to reply in person to us. Do not be fooled by the shiny showroom, your bathroom will not look like this.
We are left with a "failed" unusable wetroom that they have washed their hands of. Highly distressing experience....Avoid Avoid Avoid

From our initial enquiry & showroom visit (Diane) to the sales design proposal (Lewis), planning ,delivery & fitting (John) & installation (Harry) everything has been carried out extremely efficiently and professionally.

The project on site went very smoothly with areas being kept clean neat & tidy at all times.

Harry did an excellent job in liaising with ourselves , his attention to detail and quality workmanship, he is a credit to your company.

We are delighted with the final installation of our new bathroom.

Hard sell, secretive pricing ….all on their terms…other than a few pictures at the showroom there is no access to plans, images, detailed costing until the order is placed so the clients needs are not taken seriously and one is expected to sign up blind. Genuinely felt very pressured by the sales people who wanted a signature asap……I think the design was entirely my own in the end. Went elsewhere and was treated as the client and not a cash cow

Palmers of Trent Bridge, lets just start with, they are not cheap but it was worth it for an overall wonderful, stress free experience for us!
It all started with a "look-through" the window of the showroom as we were passing, I said to hubby, this is what we need for our new shower room, a team that organise everything for you, so we don't have to do nothing! This is where it all started...We met the lovely Lewis, the designer, he then came to our home where we discussed our wants and needs based on our current circumstances. Our shower room didn't work for us, hubby is disabled, it was fitted by some previous owners a long time ago. The step to get in and out of the shower was a tad high, this made us cautious on exiting the drop down, as it was a slip hazard. The room is small, it was tired looking, out-dated and in desperate need of a make-over!
Lewis suggested a few things to make life easier, like, lowering the shower floor to ground level and an anti slip shower tray, no need for a mat that moves. A quadrant shower to minimise the space the shower took, soften the edge a little. This discussion between us, all sounded quite exciting!
Lewis went off to make us a presentation of the suggested design in the show room and we were invited in a week later to view.
The staff in the show room were all welcoming and we felt quite overwhelmed on seeing our new shower room on the screen. We made a few tweaks and we were there.
Lewis explained that Mick a highly skilled tradesman that had been doing this job for years, would be our fitter and he would oversee the project with a team of tradesmen, that he would organise, we would have to do nothing!
A few days before our project was about to start a skip arrived, followed by our fixtures and fittings the next day. Mick introduced himself to us on the Monday, he took notes and a few measurement's and we chatted over a cup of Tea, we felt instantly that we were in safe hands. Work commenced the very next day with Matt (the plasterer) ripping out the shower room, all the tiles off every wall and the floor and he worked on re-plastering every wall and the ceiling. Over the weekend it dried and on the Monday Mick's work began. You could visually see it taking shape day by day.
The electrician arrived a lad called Kaylan working alongside Mick he completed his part of the project. Mick even went on to suggest a 'niche' in the shower wall to hold toiletries for hubby at eye level, at no extra cost I might add!
This team of tradesmen were highly skilled, friendly, and polite at all times.
The only downside if there was one, was that Palmers don't do the painting, although when we expressed this was something we wanted they offered to get someone to drop in give us a quote. To be fair I did manage to get this completed myself, over a weekend before fixtures and fittings went in, so that was great.
Our new shower room is absolutely gorgeous, a lot more accessible with a new modern, fresh look, it's funny because the room actually looks bigger now! It was an extremely comfortable, stress free experience from start to finish that we are absolutely delighted with.
Lastly we also received as a free gift an Oh My Aroma, wax melt burner and melts which are simply divine, a voucher for a professional clean and £150 worth of Next Vouchers to spend as we wish!
We would highly recommend Palmers to anyone that were looking at doing a project like this.

Terrible service from Palmers. At every stage of our work there have been problems. Plans were inaccurate, measurements wrong and information inconsistent. Lack of knowledge of the products and wrong products ordered. The fitters used were totally unprofessional (didn’t show up/showed up late/left cigarette butts strewn across driveway…), didn’t take any care, on numerous occasions the quality of work fell below the standard we would have expected. The work was so substandard, that after an awful lot of ‘to-ing and fro-ing’, (with us having to constantly chase) Palmers did agree to remove and replace most of the en-suite, and to redo the plastering. Four months on and we still have not got a completed job - large gaps have been left between shower boards and ceiling, floor has not been laid, we need to repair the damage that has been done to the door, replace the shelves that were fitted incorrectly in the wardrobe…(the list goes on!) but we are so frustrated and have no confidence that work will be carried out to a satisfactory standard that we have now said we will finish the job ourselves, with a 6% reduction in the overall cost!

No, Palmers aren't cheap. In fact, we threw a lot of money their way. But we're delighted with our bathroom, now it's finished.
We had useful and friendly help with design and choosing fittings (which must come from products they sell), and this included a home visit and two showroom visits, as well as many emails - always promptly answered.
But there are two massive reasons we're so glad we went to Palmers.
Firstly, there's the seamless project management. Once we'd emptied the old bathroom and cleared a space in the garage to store new fittings, we didn't have to worry about a thing - everything and everyone arrived just at the right time, including the skip, the fittings and the appropriate workers. And the different tradespeople worked with each other perfectly too.
Secondly, there's Mick and his team. I don't know how good the other fitters, who didn't come to us, are; but the experience we had with Mick and the others who worked in our bathroom must be the best experience we've ever had with tradespeople in our house. They were friendly, polite, as clean as could be hoped for, punctual, covid-safe, and extremely skilled at their trades. No corners were cut. The finish we were left with exceeded expectations. Mick also came back to help us when we had a few questions after the install was finished.
Is there anything that could have made our Palmers experience even better? Maybe a little more information about the products we were getting (such as the shelving layout of the vanity unit) would have been useful. And Palmers don't do painting, so after they'd put up new plasterboard and skimmed it, it was left to us to paint it (although it was carefully timed for the weekend between the two weeks of work). It would have been brilliant if we didn't have to do that either.
The tradespeople left the bathroom quite clean, and we even got a voucher for a free professional clean to use additionally.
We did pay a lot, but for us it was worth it in terms of stress removal and the great new bathroom we now have.
