Just Ignore Them
Ring my old work phone once or twice a week. Debt company in my eyes scamming as until i got new credit card recently i had a perfect Experian rating. Have no CCJs, very little debt on cards and only debt i had in past was 22 years ago which was paid when i got PPI pay out. I don't get any letters or emails from these people. So if you are in same boat then just block them as guy or now has my old work phone has done.

I don't have any debt I have contacted Overdale who checked my name age and address and I have nothing on their files but I keep getting answerphone messages 20 in the last month 😡I cannot answer the call as it just goes strait to my answerphone I have spoken she agreed to take my phone number off and I still get messages this has been happening since 19/09/25

Harass Children
Overdales repeatedly (sometimes several times a day) called my daughter (starting whilst she was 15) regarding a debt that was not hers. I have informed them that they were contacting a child.
Firms engaged in debt collection are required under FCA CONC 7 and the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 to verify who they are contacting.
They were informed in no uncertain terms, that one single further call would result in them being reported to the FCA.
Edit: You think a child has an account with you? So as to have an account reference? That really says it all.

Credit where credits due
After reading these reviews online I really didn’t want to be calling them, I already have a lot going on and this could have tipped me over the edge, This was the last place I intended on leaving a review, but credit where credits due, I got to speak to a lady called Grace, who was kind, understanding and compassionate. Maybe if all staff had the same level of emotional intelligence there would be less bad reviews and people would openly communicate with yourselves. Harassing a fourteen year old boy about…
Harassing a fourteen year old boy about a debt with constant calls and messages for someone else. She gave you the wrong number!!!
I have now called and they asked for the name of the 14 year old boy!!!!!! Given reference number and phone number, it needs to stop now.
Other reviews also state that this company is harassing minors so not a sole occurrence.

Debt I don’t owe
This company are a absolute joke I have learning disabilities and I am vulnerable and this company are harassing me me for a debt for 3 network I’ve never even been with the company the debt goes back to 2017 now they have sold it on to overdales solicitors the debt was with Lowell debit collection agency I am getting threatened by court action now as any got any advice wot to do I am not going to contact these people I wanna know my rights because there’s noway they will get a penny out of me I won’t pay for debts I don’t owe after 6 years by law a debt collection agency can’t take action like CCJs for the debt and it’s inactive on the credit report this debt will be written off I had advise from CA

Very dodgy and underhanded tactics they…
Very dodgy and underhanded tactics they sent me a letter asking me to set up a payment plan otherwise they’ll put a ccj on my name I sent back confirmation of what I could pay and they put the ccj on any way! They’re practices and organisation should be looked into by the FSA and the ombudsmen, as they’re communication is very manipulative and deceptive.

Absolute scum bags this company they…
Absolute scum bags this company they applied for a ccj and although im on benefits I accepted a payment plan of 150 a month fir 4month (they said this is maximum they do) after id paid the 4 months they told me 270 was still outstanding, wich was costs!!! None of this mentioned when setting it up tho. They should be jailed...and then when i rang to sort it, the woman put the phone down on me because she couldn't cope with the fact I wont just agree with the lies shes telling me

Extremely negative experience with…
Extremely negative experience with Overdales. My husband, who does not speak English, suddenly received several debt claims that he does not recognise. We tried to explain this to Overdales, but instead of providing any clear evidence or proof, their only response was that if there is a CCJ, he must pay regardless of whether the debt is genuine or not.
They constantly send threatening letters, creating unnecessary stress and pressure. This company shows no professionalism, no empathy, and no interest in the truth. They only care about money, not about whether the debts are correct.
Very intimidating and unfair – I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious when dealing with Overdales.

First of all the debt I've got is not…
First of all the debt I've got is not with them and all they do between Lowell and them is hound you and say they are taking you to court so you get a ccj which they are not allowed to by laws with people who are disabled and have made an offer to pay they website and budget planner is totally wrong and I also sent paperwork back explaining everything but to no avail then sent text saying within three days a court order would be made they just don't stop harassing and being nasty especially when it's not there debt in first place I've heard other people say you don't have to pay so not happy with this company and have reported them to my solicitor and sar as well thanks

Spamming me with calls from different…
Spamming me with calls from different numbers up to 10 times a day - breaching GDPR regulations as they go. Reported to the ICO.
I have never given them my details but they keep threatening me with a CCJ - please issue it as I'll win a fortune in fees.
Oh. don't answer their calls if your debt is time barred or was not assignable!
