On April 18, 2020 I ordered a laptop from OutletPC.com. The money for the purchase was immediately put in the pending status on my debit card account tying it up. The next day I received a very polite email stating that the item I ordered was not in stock and my order had been canceled. It went on to say that it might take 4 to 7 days for the money to show back up depending on my financial institution. Which I think is pretty standard. My major gripe is that, you'd think a company with a name of OutletPC.com would have software capable of monitoring their inventory. First time dealing with them and my last.
Update April 26, 2020: The money still hasn't shown back up from the pending status on my debit account. The record of the pending purchased had disappeared from my transaction list making me very worried. I called the customer service for my financial institution and learned that Outletpc.com still has not canceled the pending status for the transaction contrary to the email I received. I had this money earmarked to order a laptop so I can work from home during the corona virus. Being its Sunday, I will be calling them Monday as soon as they open. I'am dropping my rating from 2 stars to 1.

Old Version 1709 Windows 10 Home- OEM
Ordered Windows 10 Home - OEM. Got suckered. Paid extra 6.95 for 3 day shipping and got it in a 6 week days. The version was 1709, an old version with issues instead of the new1909 upgraded version. I had to download from Microsoft and use the activation #. Not happy, but I learn from experience so I'll be a one time customer. You got me once.

I bought a motherboard and ram from them and it took 9 days to get "Delivered" . Apparently someone else signed and took my package and they aren't answering emails now and just told me to file a claim through PayPal. I'm gonna file a dispute, show them their trust pilot and show them the transcript I had with UPS. I'll also file a complain with the BBB and FTC. They need to get shut down. The person. Working there which I assume is only 1 guy is named Mike Malon and he is supper rude.
Great Experience With This Company
I recently purchased a Toshiba hard drive from this company and I am very pleased that I did. The order was processed quickly and shipped promptly. The part was packed perfectly for shipping with bubble wrap, a heavy box, and a heavy envelope. I recommend this company.

Do not order from them. I ordered a NZXT X62 watercooler and received a X52, when I contacted them about it they had me go through a return process which I had to spend $20 of my own money to send the product back and that was 2 weeks ago still haven't received the refund.

Simple Pathetic!
Ordered a specific drive from what they had pictured to match another drive I have. They sent me some garbage drive and had to file a claim with paypal to get my money back. This company is simply pathetic!

What an awful company
What an awful company. Took twice as long to get parts from them. Their support team is unapplogetic and their website is unaccomidating. Do not order from them if you can help it. Go anywhere else first. I cant even actually tell you how bad they are as this website has a language filter.

Slow Processing, Slow Shipping
Ordered multiple components from 4 different vendors on a Sunday night. By Wednesday all my components had arrived except from this vendor. Slow to process, slow to ship and when called out on it blames payment processing times. Funny how every other vendor has no problem processing and shipping within 1-2 business days.
If you'd like your order shipped in a timely fashion DO NOT USE OUTLET PC.

I have been dealing with Outletpc for I believe 10 years now. I have always gotten exactly what I need for my computers and other electronic needs. I have never had trouble returning items that did not suit my needs. I live in Las Vegas, and have used their services when my laptop crashed or had an issue with a flashdrive failing. I have referred many, many people to them throughout the years and have always been thanked for doing so. I have never had anyone say to me that I steered them wrong.

Will literally lie about items not meeting their stated specs, and try to charge for returns. I suggest you go with a trustworthy company like amazon or newegg. Worst customer service!
Horrendous Support/Exchange
Got a few parts through OutletPC while building a computer. Once I got all the parts together and put everything together there were some issues getting the BIOS up and was able to figure out it was my processor. Customer support was very patronizing and insisting that it couldn't be any of the parts and even if it were the processor it must be because the pins were bent and if so they wouldn't cover it. I eventually sent it back after the recommendations of multiple other people however OutletPC would not cover shipping costs, I was only able to figure out that it had arrived because of my UPS tracking number and once it had arrived they wouldn't give me any updates on the process. After 7 days I started calling them to make sure everything was okay and to check on what was going on but they still wouldn't give me any answers. 5 days went by and a few more phone calls to the point where I decided to get in contact with their sales which were completely more competent and helpful than the people meant to be getting back to me about my defective parts. The parts were defective, covered for exchange and had been ready 3 DAYS prior(still 9 days after having gotten there) and that he could have it shipped that day and take 2-3 days to get back to me. The package didn't leave until the end of the next business day and took an additional 6 days to arrive. Newegg covers shipping and has received, checked, and replaced defective parts of mine in the past in under a week and it took nearly a month and an outrageous amount of shipping fees for the same thing from OutletPC.
Nastiest Company on Earth
Not only did they send a 1 ounce envelope (my items were supposed to be in BOXES and would probably weigh 4 pounds), to the WRONG address, but the garbage customer service representative told me there was nothing he could do, to call my bank then ACTUALLY hung up on my face.
I called them back, was put on hold for 25+, then was cut off the call. I redialed and was put on loop forever, which I can only assume means they banned my phone number.
I filed a chargeback case through my bank, and wasted over 3 hours of my time between phone calls.
If you enjoy being treated like crap and being out of your money for a while, then this company is for you.
Spend the extra $5-10 per item and buy from Amazon.

My wife purchased an SSD by for me as a gift and got the wrong kind. There is no way to cancel your order once placed. You have to wait until their phone support over seas is open. Speak to someone who you can BARELY understand and get treated like crap. In the event of a return you are responsible for the return shipping even if you simply mark the package "Return to sender."
The customer service rep I contacted on 03/12/2019 at 3:12PM EST was rude, interrupted me every chance she got and offered me no help at all. I think I'll stick to Amazon where their customer service is MUCH better.
