I started with ourcow because they are supposed to be from the 'farmer'. My first order was left, not exactly according to the instructions, meat, hmm was ok, then 2nd order, same, 3rd order I was there to collect. Quality has deteriorated, whereby my steak was tough, they were offcuts and should have been put into mince instead of selling it as an expensive piece of steak.
I now, have cancelled my orders with them.

I stupidly placed a $250 subscription order that I quickly cancelled. The meat is absolutely dreadful. You can get better at woolies and coles. So chewwy and full of fat. They do great marketing as thats what sold me. Never again and I'm highly disappointed.

Meat is sensational. I didn’t expect the taste to be so fabulous. Arrived in time, as ordered and in great condition. Loved the beef pie as well. Free meat in each pack is an added bonus. We are not going back to low quality, injected supermarket rubbish again. Thanks to everyone at My Cow. Happy to be supporting you and the farmers behind the product.

I don’t believe anything they say. The quality is dreadful and as for their friendly farmers, my so called “free” tomahawk came from Casino meatworks. How do I know this? The establishment number was still on the packaging.

The issue is that as much as the meat is ok, the trap to select next delivery and subscribe is a joke. I referred so many people and they all got excited. Then came back and said nope, they're not going to be stuck with a subscription and have to remember to push it back and change dates etc. I was told you can do a one off without subscribing. This is impossible, it won’t move to payment unless you tick a box of next delivery date. We got caught, in that we had an illness and forgot to extend the date and bang and money was taken and another delivery came we did not want or need . So approx 16 referrals and all said no because of this. Just offer it but don’t make it they can’t purchase at checkout without ticking the next delivery and then have to remember to push the delivery back, which you can’t do until the order has been delivered. So you have to input in your reminders to go in and push it back. People these days don’t want to be pushed in subscriptions!!! They want choice and if you allow by now you would have had heaps of orders. This is the one major thing wrong while I canceled totally. They tell you oh you can order one off without subscribing, no you can’t it won’t let you, your stuck with having to go into site, push dates back or like me got so frustrated I cancelled. Way to much hassle . Oh then the million emails and texts to re subscribe ! Nooo . Jus allow people freedom of choice to come back !

I've been with this company for way too long. Thought they are farmers so support farmers, however, the quality of some meat was shocking. Very tough and way too much fat, not trimmed probably. I finally had enough, claiming best quality, grass fed, no evidence to proof. So regretted that I've been committed for so long.

Just letting everyone know that is the worst T Bone steak my wife and I have ever had and the sad thing is we have more in the freezer

This is my second order and I probably have to cancel the subscription. The products are very pricy so I expect great quality. Steaks are very ordinary, pork spare ribs are literally nothing for a pack. Chickens are good and beef mince. But when I put in my second order, the total price I saw on the screen was about $202 however the invoice showed more than $218! And the free steaks were changed to beef mince without notice! Just a sorry when I emailed and queried about it. I'm happy to pay a higher price to support genuine Aussie farmers, not greedy and deceptive online retailers! Will definitely unsubscribe!

Just received my second order and will cancel now as not measuring up to all the hype. Sorry guys this is not good enough for high priced meat. First order left in the sun but thankfully it was only for a short time. $42 supposed top notch lamb rack was cut on strange angle so only 3 bones in full. Reported that and had credit put on my account....after I reminded them it hadnt been. The scotch fillet as we would call them as tough as I have had. T-bone was good but everything has so much fat not trimmed so very costly extra.
This order I was home and unpacked straight away but the items on the bottom which happened to be chicken thigh fillets and chicken nibbles had started to thaw half way through. I weighed the frozen fish fillets and 300gms frozen (was actually 294 gms) would not be 300gms thawed of water so getting less than you pay for there as well.
Not going to order again and will go back to choosing products by sight as I am very fussy when quality and cost is important.
Yet to try the FREE sirloins and the Tomahawk with first order was small for the $75 price tag they can be purchased for. Bought one recently for $52 much bigger and was delicious between 2 people.

These guys do a bang up job and the meat is absolutely delicious. It’s always delivered on time and is frozen on delivery. My family have never had a problem with our cow. If I have any difficulties with ordering I always get help from one of the friendly staff over the phone and they help me fix it straight away. Thanks our cow :)

Horrible experience with this business

Wanted to get behind this. Ordered over $200 of meat but the three we have tried so far is fatty, grisly or tasteless. Will persevere with what we have but cancelled our subscription due to poor quality

I had high hopes for Our Cow as family members had recently signed up with good feedback. Unfortunately my first order had one product, (diced lamb), that was pure fat and not edible - we fed it to the dog. I emailed Our Cow three times over three weeks with no response. I finally got a response requesting a clear photo of the packaging details. After three weeks we had long since thrown the packing out! The customer service rep apologised and said there’s nothing they can do. After spending $80 on diced lamb, we expect better! We have cancelled our subscription and so has our extended family!

Supposed to be delivered Wednesday - didn't arrive. Called Wednesday (voicemail) and sent email. Called Thursday morning (voicemail) then called again Thursday afternoon and got through. They said they couldn't find my email, I said what about the voicemails: oh no - we got those. Asked what happened and they said the delivery was delayed. Asked if I should have expected a notification via call email or even update in the tracker because on Thursday it still said delivery was pending for the day before: they had no answer. They advised it's been rescheduled for the following day: 2 days after the original delivery date and it's not up to them its up to the courier company. When I receive the meat, none of it is frozen and none of it is in vacuum packs so it's all fresh and I've already lost 2 days on sausages whose selling point is no preservatives. The quality of the sausages is really good but for all the hassle...

the beef and honey snags were lovely as was the turkey bacon , we fed the sirloin x 4 to our dogs as it was so tough and dry then we tried another 4 sirloin same also the ribeye was inedible for the same reason . we really wanted to give these guys a fair go. we did reach out and have heard nothing as yet.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent order from Our Cow. And after reading more recent reviews it turns out others are having the same problem and the company is taking no accountability for it. And not even replying. How awful.

I spent over $300 expecting high-quality meat, but what I received was honestly inedible. The sirloin and rib fillet were particularly bad — poor texture, odd colour, and nowhere near the standard I’m used to. I regularly buy these cuts and know what good sirloin and rib fillet should look and taste like. This wasn’t it.

Before anyone thinks I’m just being a “Karen,” I actually gave the company the opportunity to explain. I contacted them directly and sent clear photos showing how poor the meat looked. Their response? They said it was “up to standard.” That was incredibly frustrating and dismissive.

I even showed the meat to a friend of mine who’s a butcher, and they confirmed it didn’t look right. In the end, I couldn’t bring myself to eat it — I fed most of it to the dog, which is not what you expect after spending that kind of money on premium meat.

I really wanted to support a company like this, but based on this experience and the lack of accountability, I’m left gutted. Very disappointing. The company could have handled this so differently where it wouldn’t have cost them this bad review and they could have won back a customer who probably would have referred others, but they chose to be dismissive even when I sent them evidence which you can clearly see, sirloin is not supposed to be this fatty.

I reached out about my first order missing eight products and I am yet to receive a response. It's been a week and I'm getting the same generic email responses. Appalling.
Took my money and sent me not even a quarter of my order. That includes that free Tomahawk Steak deal they're raving about and the free Sirloin for a year. Didn't receive either of those.

Won't be buying from them ever again.

Tried to contact ourcow on scheduled delivery day to see where it was. Live chat says connecting to human but doesn't - don't use this. Contacted them for ETA and was advised apparently my very normal street address was *unable* to be found, but they didn't initiate any phone call or contact to clarify or complete delivery, nor deliver the same day when I confirmed still during business hours that my address had no special instructions etc. They couldn't tell me the problem, but looking on my account it seems there was an r at the end of my street address that should have been an n, and this was clearly unresolveable despite no similar streets in the town or postcode. Instead my delivery was just rescheduled to an alternate date of their chosing, six days after shipping instead of two days, throwing out not just meal planning and needing to purchase alternatives, but meaning the "frozen" delivery was not frozen. I was able to send footage showing I was home to collect and it was still defrosted meat, and simply told their shipping is refrigerated transit not frozen, this is safe to use and refreeze. Very disappointing that they didn't phone when there was a delivery issue to still complete it, especially if it is not frozen transit and then compromises freshness.

I've only had two orders delivered far, both had quality issues. First time the mince in my order was not fresh. It was borderline, so I didn't bother complaining at the time. Second time my order was three days late and contained multiple packets of completely rancid rotten meat. I was reimbursed with store credit for the rotten meat, but nothing for the inconvenience other than an apology. My current subscription order which was meant to arrive today has not even been shipped. I haven't even been given a tracking number. I contacted them 4 days ago asking what was going on and still haven't received a reply. I've tried their online messenger, email, and multiple phonecalls where I have left a message and no one has gotten back to me. I understand they have less staff over the Christmas period, but this lack of service is ridiculous for such a large company. I wish I was one of the many people who rave about Our Cow, but so far my experience with them has been awful. Rotten meat, late orders, and now a subscription order that I assume hasn't even been processed. After reading so many positive reviews, I thought I would be receiving a premium quality product with premium service. Unfortunately my experience is far from it, nothing but hassle so far.

What could have been a bad experience has turned into a great one, thanks to the help of the lovely Casey in customer service! Loving all our steaks so far and so much more to try still!
Love what they are doing as a company providing quality products, delivered to your door, all while supporting very important people, Australian farmers! ☺️
