the care my mother received has been…

the care my mother received has been second to none, I feel staff have always gone above and beyond in her care, even visiting her in hospital in their own time. The house is well taken care of, her needs are all met and she always looks forward to the social visits. The staff have an open communication with me, alerting me to any issues, from foods my mother no longer wants, to concerns around medication and health.
I have had other care companies in the past, and the difference in my mother since moving to Orchard has been very apparent, her hygiene has improved, the house is clean and she is much happier

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible. My nanna went into a care home for 2 weeks respite till I moved house. She is still in there now. We have a legal battle trying to get her home. They lie on reports and tell the family she is dangerous. NOT TRUE. We were billed by them for 4 weeks and 2 days of her been in the care home. £4758.45. A ridiculous amount of money. If a social worker requests a respite period in a care home for your loved one. Refuse it. My nanna doesn't get care, she sits in a room watching a blank wall for hours, she doesn't have her own clothes as they all went missing and she has no valuables left as they have all been stolen from her room. Police are investigating this matter. Yes she may be 81 years old but she is healthy or should I say was till she went in here.
