I like Opera. It is convenient to use and so many customize options

Offers features other Browsers do not give FOC, works as well as most top browsers and I find it is quick and can handle large amounts of Tabs (1500+, although this crazy number does make loading and closing the browser tediously slow). On the downside, the way Opera pushes updating on you without giving you control when it happens is poor. There is little control over the updating process as a whole, which is unfair and can be damn inconvenient when it goes ahead at a bad time for you. Also personal settings and information in extensions / add-ons were often lost after an update (sometimes extensions disappeared altogether). I ran older versions of Opera for years just to avoid the pain of this updating, as well as the benefit that the early Versions (circa 2015) were less bloated - so Opera shot themselves in the foot. Now even the latest Opera versions will run smoothly on old Win7 PCs with decent RAM capacity. Glad to say extension stability has been better in last 3 years - Opera obviously improved this. However a cheeky move by Opera to add Opera Browser to start automatically every time my PC boots is annoying and taking a liberty on my msconfig.sys file - no doubt a new setting pushed onto my PC by an update. I can understand Opera want Users to regularly Update to keep browsers up-to-date and secure, but this feature is for none of these reasons. It is a feature that needs scrapping. Its my PC, not theirs. I will decide when I want Opera to hog MY PC RAM. They should have asked permission or warned Users they were doing this - and not in some small-print clause 14.1B.XYZ-2.2.x.x somewhere.....

Right in the middle of a transaction using Opera and then out of the blue Opera shut down and it's being updated. Lost the information and had to start over.

I will never use a browser that sneakily downloads when trying to download other things. I immediately delete it every time it does but it has soured me towards ever trying it.

Ich benutze den Opera Mini Web Browser auf meinem Smartphone. Da kommen zwar regelmäßig Updates, aber trotz mehrfacher Support Anfrage, ohne Antwort, wird diese Gurke von mal zu mal schlechter.

Neuerdings haben die jetzt eigene Werbung auf dem Browser, die läuft natürlich ohne Probleme. Sonst scheint die Gurkentruppe dort wohl nichts gebacken zu bekommen…?

Die Gurke benötigt beim laden bestimmter Seiten mehrere Anläufe, der Ladebalken bleibt dann kurz vor Ende stehen und es tut sich nichts mehr. Andere Browser laden da um einiges schneller. Es ändert da auch nichts dran wenn man die Datenverkehr Einsparungen ausschaltet.

Der Browser ist im Allgemeinen sehr träge. Ich hatte dort schon mehrfach hingeschrieben, aber es scheint dort keinen zu interessieren, sonst könnte man ja die Mängel mit dem nächsten Update abstellen….👎😡

A great idea with built in VPN, However, not so good when it comes to functionality. It frequently just refuses to take you to the websites requested and literally buffers and freezes when it does decide to grant access. I use Firefox as an alternative and very rarely suffer the same failures, so it is not my broadband or my computer, So very obviously a problem with Opera.

To, że działa tragicznie to jak nie powiedzieć nic. Zmieniam ten syf, bo szkoda gadać na prawdę, straciłem tylko czas dodając tu zakładki.

Es nervt, dass Opera oft copy und paste blockiert. Egal ob es sich um Texte handelt oder bei Bildeinfügungen in E-Mails.
Hier muss man wie vor 20 Jahren weiterhin mit der Maus einen rechtsklick machen und manuell "Kopieren" auswählen. Diese Art von Bevormundung eines Users und die Art und Weise, Innovation und Technik von vor 20 Jahren zu erzwingen ist furchtbar.

Opera is worst browser that i have encounter till now too slow keep on hanging buffering sometime completely stuck even if its keep updating by itself i download Opera Gx but same problem Uninstalled faster than it installed. That says everything... guys don't use Opera at all it's better to use Google Chrome is the best ...

Bepaalde belangrijke instellingen zijn niet aanwezig. Zo volg je hun eigen stappenplan en dan kom je erachter dat de benodige knoppen gewoonweg niet aanwezig zijn. Essentiële functies, maar ook extensies zijn niet mogelijk.

Its porn addict/gooner bait ad on Youtube, Like its approved By Epstein himself.

the last ads were fine like Penguin was awesome, or opera gaming broswer, But I crossed the line with their recent ad I saw on youtube, Its weridly Sexual

They claim to be the "privacy focused web browser." But during the install, I had to explicitly opt out of virtually every kind of data sharing you can imagine. And those opt out options were hidden.

Nope, this browser is in no way privacy focused. It's blatant false advertising for them to claim they are.

Buona alternativa di browser a Google Chrome (Opera consuma molta meno RAM) e Microsoft Edge.
Consiglio comunque Brave Browser per chi vuole stare sul sicuro online.
