These smell so bad that I threw up the second time I took. Nutrafol has a no returns policy and a nasty product . Dont buy. Dosage is 4 capsule but they smell so bad i only took 2 capsules

Extremely expensive and the platform is difficult to navigate when trying to update your subscription. It is impossible to connect with someone to resolve issues as they only use chat or email and even at that they do not respond whatsoever. For the amount of money that you pay for a subscription, you shouldn't get top-tier service and they very short of this. It is a complete joke.

I found this a mix, as i know nutrafol is known brand for hair care products, but i found this out accidentally, because of a order delay. but i found that combining nutrafol with the taoist soap routine (method) helped improve getting hair growth results for me and my wife.

this routine involves doing daily scalp massage 10 mins at least with finger tips all over head, taoist soap, collagen supplement daily and nettle tea to help support further hair growth. i also interchanged using rosemary oil, and immortals oil, interchangably (every 2 weeks) which seemed to do a big growth spurt if done consistently.

shipping was in time, secure packing, and would def recommend nutrafol.

Very disappointed in nutrofol customer service. I discontinued my subscription because the delivery service nutrofol uses didn't deliver my product one month after I paid for it. I restarted my subscription hoping nutrofol would make it right. Low and behold another monthly shipment didn't arrive. I reported this to customer service and they did nothing. $80 twice is too much to through away.

I ordered ONE bottle and did not want a subscription; indicated that on the form. Less than a month later I get a notification I will recieve the product and have been charged!!!!

This is illegal and inconvenient for me to contact Nutra-FOOL
In order to have them refund MY MONEY for something I did not order! ARGH!

When are these companies going to STOP this illegal activity? Now it takes 5-10 business days to get my money back!

Now; these ridiculous vitamins repackaged as hair replacement support are a rip

I used Nutrafol and their DHT inhibitor for 9 months at a cost of $100/month and 6 capsules/day. I took close-up photos of my hair from several angles. Nutrafol did a mineral analysis of my hair - with no outstanding concerns (from my view). After all that time and money I see no discernible change in added or thicker hair to my scalp. Very disappointing! The only reason I didn't give them a score of 1, is because the people I talked with were all very good communicators, but the bottom line is no discernible impact at all. Maybe this is not for men 70+ years old!

This product gave me diarrhea for 7 weeks straight. My doc did all these labs and colonoscopy and came back normal.
The day after I stopped taking Nutrafol my diarrhea stopped and abdominal pain subsided a few days later. Now I have acute colitis and am recovering. I do not recommend this product, especially to anyone who has a sensitive stomach (which I didn’t before this!). Terrible terrible. My whole life was miserable and non-functional.

This product really works. I'm sad because my finances were why I had to cancel my subscription. If my finances change I will subscribe again. Thanks Nutrol for creating the product and giving me a chance to gain confidence.

I tried the product for a few months, but it didn’t work. However, my beef is with the company itself. I cancelled my subscription but for some reason, a year later, the company is trying to put $1 charge through on my credit card to see if my card is still active. I have no idea why they would do this. Luckily, I got notified in advance and so was able to stop the charge from going through. Obviously, I’m not concerned about the dollar - I’m more concerned about larger amounts being charged in the future without my knowledge or permission. I cancelled my credit card and ordered a new one.

I had a very disappointing experience with Nutrafol Postpartum.

I took the product consistently for over 8 months, starting immediately after giving birth to my second kiddo, and followed all directions exactly. I’ve experienced postpartum hair loss before with my first, so I know what’s typical for me (I did NOT take Nutrafol the first time around). This time, my shedding was similar bordering on worse, lasted longer, and saw no improvement despite staying on the product for months.

At nearly $700 spent for 9 months of supply, this is not a small investment. I understand that results can vary, but for a product at this price point, there should be much more transparency around effectiveness.

The most frustrating part was the customer service experience. I reached out after months of no results and was initially told a refund would be processed. After that, I had to follow up multiple times over several MONTHS with little to no response. Eventually, I was given a partial refund, but only for part of my purchase, even though the entire experience and outcome were the same.

It felt inconsistent and unnecessarily difficult to resolve.

Another thing that stands out in hindsight is the lack of accessible, unfiltered customer reviews on their website. Given how variable results clearly are, this makes it harder for customers to make informed decisions. They heavily rely on influencer and social media marketing, which should be a red flag to anyone.

Overall, this may work for some people, but it did not work for me, and the combination of high cost and poor customer experience makes it hard to recommend.

Nutrafol was one of the biggest wastes of money I’ve ever spent on a hair product. I took it consistently for 9 months, followed the directions, and instead of helping with hair shedding, it did the exact opposite. My hair shed more and more the longer I used it.

For a product that makes big promises and charges premium prices, the results were beyond disappointing. I didn’t just see no improvement — I actually felt like my hair got worse. After 9 months, I expected progress, not panic every time I brushed or washed my hair.

What makes it even worse is that after I stopped wasting money on Nutrafol, I started taking regular vitamin supplements, and within about a month and a half I began seeing better and faster results at a much lower price. That says everything.

In my experience, Nutrafol completely failed to deliver and was not worth the money at all.

My wife subscribed to nutrafol for over 3 years. After all this time nothing happened except our bank account got emptied. I felt like we bought a product from a medicine man of the old west. This is sadly nothing more than a scam that desperate people fall for. They should be prosecuted for selling something that does not work!!!

I considered canceling my subscription because I was not seeing improvement in my hair loss. But after emailing Nutrafol, they offered me a discount to continue. Since I felt the price was a little high this offer caused me to continue my subscription for another year. I appreciate a company that is willing to help out when needed. Thank you.

I took the supplement for just about 6 weeks. It was suggested by my dermatologist for hair thinning. They must be doing a lot of marketing with dermatologists. But I stopped it because I started having hot flashes and I realized it was the supplement. I am in my late 40s but have not started menopause symptoms yet. My symptoms went away when I stopped taking it. I took the women’s balance formula which is suggested for my age. I can’t find anywhere to report these adverse side effects so I’m posting it here in case other women have similar symptoms. The whole Nutraceutical industry is a little scary since it’s unregulated. I’m surprised mainstream dermatologists are recommending it. I certainly don’t want to take something that is triggering early menopause. I’m finally throwing it out and thought I should leave a review as kind of a public service announcement. But this was about a year ago.

The product works very well. I noticed hair growth in about four months. However, my last bottle I ordered direct from Nutrafol. The bottle was shattered. I was on hold with Nutrafol for three hours and receive a representative that could care less that my product was unusable and that I was on hold for over three hours. I would recommend paying extra and bottling from Ulta. Seems wasteful and expensive to use glass for the bottle instead of plastic.

I have been taking Nutrafol for 6 months and stopped. In a few months I stayed committed and took them for a full year. What can I say - I think my hair looks slightly fuller at the roots, but it’s not an amazing, life-changing, miracle result I was hoping for. The vitamins are very expensive yet hair grows does take time, but for me - the price isn’t worth a little progress it made.

Was actually working for me, but they’re so scammy that you can’t edit your payment method on their website, so when mine stopped working there was no way for me to fix it and their only solution was to call me to update it on their end, which is so stupid I just cancelled instead.

12 Months of Proper Use with Zero Results – A Total Failure

I have been using Nutrafol consistently for a full year, and it has been a complete waste of time and money. I am writing this to warn others who might be in the same position.
My Experience & Routine:
I followed the instructions perfectly for 365 days. I didn't just take the four capsules; I took them consistently after a full meal and followed them with a spoonful of coconut oil to ensure maximum absorption of the fat-soluble ingredients. Despite this "gold standard" routine, I have seen zero improvement.
• Hair Quality: Even with a year of internal support, my hair continues to suffer from persistent split ends. I am not referring to old damage—the new growth coming out lacks structural integrity and begins splitting. It is weak and brittle.
• Nail Strength: My nails remain thin and "bendy," breaking and peeling exactly as they did two years ago. For a supplement that claims to support keratin, the fact that my nails are still soft and flexible after a year is proof the product isn't working.
No Medical Issues:
To be sure the issue wasn't my health, I had a full professional workup. My Iron, Ferritin, and Thyroid levels are all completely normal. My body has the healthy foundation needed for growth, but this supplement failed to provide the "boost" it promised.
The Verdict:
If you have healthy lab results and think this expensive supplement will fix your "bendy" nails or splitting hair, think again. I gave it a full year and optimized my absorption with healthy fats, and it still did absolutely nothing. It’s a huge disappointment.

I saw a little to no hair growth results in 6 months.

But I have underlying conditions so I'm willing to believe it may have prevented additional hair loss.

I canceled my subscription because of the absolutely stupid way that they do business.

I was sent a free trial I was interested in more and it took 4 days just to get to the point where somebody could take my order because you can't just log in and order more of what you need.

You can't buy some of their other supplements because you want them you have to wait for them to prescribe them to you and then if you want more you have to call them to tell them you want more because you can't just log in and buy it.

You have to do with your customer support I don't have a full day to dedicate to ordering a supplement that I can buy at The Vitamin Store
