I believe Nottinghill Finance is Loan shark unlicenced criminal one man band lender
I believe Nottinghill Finance is operating as an illegal and unlicensed loan provider. They do not hold any licence to offer credit, they are not registered with the FCA to lend money, and they do not have Companies House approval to operate as a loan company.
They pressured me to sign the loan as a business loan, even though the purpose was personal and urgent. Labeling the loan as “business purpose” removes FCA protection, and in my case the company’s registered SIC code is:
70229 – Management consultancy activities other than financial management
This means the loan becomes unregulated, despite the fact that the true purpose was predominantly personal.
They transferred £23,600 into my bank account but are demanding £77,000 to be repaid within nine months for what was supposed to be a three‑month loan. It appears to be a one‑man operation, and I believe the loan agreement may have been altered — it looks as though my signature page was taken from another document and attached to a different agreement.
I originally signed for 2% interest, but they changed the paperwork to 5% compound interest. The lender relied on a false business declaration and on the broker’s wording to treat the loan as unregulated.
In my view, this behaviour is deceptive and predatory. They will lie to the court, and with expensive lawyers they can attempt to take your property over a £24,000 loan.
If you want to risk losing your home, take a loan from this unregulated criminal one man band lender — otherwise, stay away.
