Can't leave a no star
Can't leave a no star. Worst company ever to deal with. My car has a full warranty, a part went out, it's been in the shop for 6 months because the part is not available. Nissan Corporate has admitted the part is not available, but won't do anything. They won't even put a representative on the phone that can actually speak decent English to help resolve the situation. They told us 3 days ago they were going to buy the car back due to parts not being available, and then called again today to say they WILL not be offering to buy the car back, however the part is still unavailable so they don't even know what they can do, but they WILL FULFILL THE WARRANTY... how can they fulfill the warranty with no parts?
DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALER WITH YOUR…
DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALER WITH YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY. As an automotive professional with 45 years of master technician experience, I caught this dealership red-handed trying to pass off a high-performance blue 2015 BMW M235i xDrive with a known, engine-destroying drivetrain failure.
THE HARDCORE DIAGNOSTIC FACTS: Under heavy automatic kickdown load, the car suffers from an unmitigated runability defect. A standard live data log will show catastrophic misfire data counters spiking, Short-Term Fuel Trims (STFT) pinning lean, and the boost control system violently acting up or switching off as the platform safety maps attempt to manage severe fuel starvation. This immediate high-boost, lean-running condition destroys the piston rings and liners, permanently gouging the Alusil cylinder walls. Because these blocks cannot be re-sleeved or bored out, it requires a total, non-repairable engine replacement.
THE DECEPTION: Management actively refused a basic, 15-minute road-test data log. Instead, they lied directly to my face, claiming a violent cylinder drop was a "factory rev limiter feature," and then tried to push an extended insurance warranty plan to cover up a pre-existing defect before signing the loan.
Prospective buyers: look up the video "This 16 BMW 235i was designed to fail! Can I fix it?" on the Car Wizard channel to see exactly how these engines self-destruct when fueling issues are ignored. Every deceptive statement and phone record from this lot has been permanently recorded and is being filed directly with the State Attorney General. Take your business elsewhere.
Incompetent (or dishonest) service across Oklahoma
Be bought our Pathfinder new in 2022 in Broken Arrow, OK. We bought the extended warranty. From day one, the heat on the passenger side has not worked. We have taken it in for service, under warranty, on four occasions to three separate dealership service departments. Our most recent visit, we also had an oil leak. Oil had been dripping on the driveway for a couple of weeks and my husband was able to find and video the leak under the car. At the time of drop off, I was also assured they would do a full inspection and fix anything that needed to be fixed as the Nissan exteded warranty was close to expiring.
A full week later I finally received a call that the car was ready to be picked up. Absolutely no work was done. I was told everything checked out perfectly. No issues with heater. No oil leak found. No other issues found. Come get it.
Driving home I quickly duplicated the heater issue (still blowing 20 degrees colder than driver side). Made it home and there is a steady drip of oil on the driveway. Called them back and sent a video of the drip, but they still denied there was anything to be fixed.
I will also note that when I arrived to pick up the car, they could not find it because they had put it under a different name. While waiting for them to figure out which car was mine due to that mix up, the poor lady in front of me was having a similar experience. While I don't know the details, she was also quite frustrated that there were service lights on in her vehicile and she was being told there were no issues and not to worry abou the lights. She kept asking waht to do when they come back on and was told many things could cause it, just don't worry about it.
We went directly to trade the car in. I will never own another Nissan. Not because of the car itself, but because of the pressure to purchase a warrant, taking it to 3 separate dealerships over the course of four years, and not once was anything ever fixed or addressed. Including taking it in to have brakes replaced. Metal on metal. They called me back and said the brakes were perfect and didn't need to be replaced. Took it straight to a mechanic who said they needed to be replaced immediately. Back to dealership and got an "ohh, we must have measured int he wrong place".
Four years. Three Dealerships / Service Departments. Not one was able to fix a single issue with the vehicle. Never again.
Really disappointed
Really disappointed! I contacted several Nissan dealerships regarding an AGM battery and received substantially different price quotes for what I understood to be the same battery and installation. I first called Gardena Nissan. I was transferred to the Service Department, where I was quoted $388. This was significantly higher than the $279.99 price I had initially been given, so I did not proceed. I then contacted Torrance Nissan and was told the price would be $279.99. After arriving, I was quoted $555.99 before labor and parts. Because the price was significantly different from what I had been told over the phone, I declined the service.I subsequently contacted Carson Nissan and was quoted $279.99 plus $59.99 for installation. I specifically asked whether the quoted price would be honored because of my previous experiences. Parts and Service confirmed the price and apologized for the inconsistent quotes I had received.
I cannot speak to the reason for the different prices, but from a customer’s perspective, the experience was confusing and frustrating. I was not looking for the cheapest option all I wanted was a clear and consistent pricing before agreeing to the service.
My son ultimately referred me to Sam’s Club where was treated respectfully, and they installed the battery at no charge and waived the $20 recycling fee.Based on my experience, I do not plan to make future purchases from these Nissan locations. I recommend that customers call multiple locations, ask exactly what is included in the quoted price, and confirm that the price will be honored before making the trip.
The entire experience has left us frustrated and will never retrun
The entire experience has left us extremely disappointed with Nissan. We expected transparency, accountability, and customer service—not to be hit with thousands of dollars in charges we believe were bogus after doing exactly what we were told to do.
After this experience, we will NEVER lease another Nissan, and we will NEVER own another Nissan. The way this situation was handled has completely destroyed our trust in the company.

I finance a 2023 Nissan rogue I got it in 2024 I service it when needed and on time well on Wednesday driving to work on highway the suv started stalling and smoking I pulled over get it towed to Nissan mind you this vehicles got a recall on engine something they did not informed me about with no warning light no over heating light nothing they check the suv and tell me I need a new engine and the great part is I get a brand new one for free because it has warranty that’s not all they put me in a rental the rental is a car I been trying to switch it to an suv I have back problems really bad and cars are too low Nissan tells me well the company we use for rentals only got sedans I would have to pay out of pocket to another car rental to be accommodated is that fair to me ? First of all Nissan sold me a three year old car that the engine has a recall so that vehicle only last a couple of years, how do I get to work to pay a vehicle that is not my fault that is a piece of crap when I have to end up on the hospital for back problems this is so inconvinient I’m stressed out I’m calling my lawyers because I’m a customer and is not fair on me I went to the dealership to purchase a car because I don’t want to deal with breaking down in old cars and I still have to go thru this with a 3 year old car that I’m still paying on mind you my vehicle just went into 40,000 miles I’m so discusted but my lawyer will be called bc this whole thing ain’t right
I brought my car in at 7:20 am…
I brought my car in at 7:20 am September 11 for tie rod replacement. I had not heard anything by 10:20 so I called and got Del. He had me on hold a couple of minutes, came back and said they’re working on it and asked me what time I needed it. I said noon and he said it should be done by then. I called back at 11:55 and was told they were trying to contact me before they start the work(at my old phone number). Del should have thoroughly checked notes to tell me this but apparently did not. So 4&1/2 hour after I dropped my car off they were going to start work.. this was very inconvenient because I needed the car by noon and had to depend on rides til work was finished finally by 3:00. When I went to pick it up, no apologies for inconvenience AND got charged an extra $9.00 for using a credit card. I’ve used this dealership(thoroughbred on 22nd in Tucson) and will not go back after today. You lost a customer because the representative gave me incorrect information. Very frustrated Nissan dealership service department customer
AVOID NISSAN VANS!!!
Purchased a brand new interstar at the end of 2026. Van looks lovely and drives like a dream, BUT when they go wrong they go wrong!!
The digital dashboard failed 7 weeks ago which resulted in having the vehicle towed to a local dealer. They subsequenlty had to replace the main computer, but the problems didn't stop there. They said they couldn't programme it and blamed a tracker that I had fitted (which was rubbish as it only has power and doesn't connect to the BUS)
I paid to have the tracker removed to prove a point. They then tried to tell me it was being programmed and I'd have it back soon. The tracker was removed 10 days ago, it's now been a week since they started programming it, a process that takes no more than an hour or so.
I've requested a failure to rectify report two weeks ago, have received nothing.
Am now requested a full refund or replacement and if that's not dealt with within 7 days will be passing to solicitors.
PS Had another van on order due for delivery this month but cancelled due to the above.
Extremely disappointed in Nissan as a…
Extremely disappointed in Nissan as a manufacturer
My 2025 Nissan Murano Platinum was unusable for more than 70 days because Nissan could not supply ONE OEM replacement molding (part #82282-7BA0A).
The part was placed on backorder and escalated as critically needed. I opened a Nissan Consumer Affairs case, which was eventually transferred to their specialized Back Order Parts Resolution Team. Despite all of that, Nissan still could not provide an ETA — not a week, not a month, nothing.
I asked Nissan to provide comparable transportation while I waited indefinitely. They would not provide a loaner and told me I could pay for a rental myself and request reimbursement later, with no guarantee it would be reimbursed.
I eventually became frustrated enough to file a consumer complaint with the Missouri Attorney General.
Parts shortages happen. What is unacceptable is a manufacturer selling brand-new vehicles without an adequate replacement-parts system to support them afterward. A nearly-new $50,000+ vehicle should not sit unusable for months because Nissan cannot supply one piece of molding.
This experience has seriously changed how I feel about purchasing another Nissan. A new vehicle is only as good as the manufacturer’s ability to support it after the sale.
Do not recommend …
I purchased the truck from Nissan in North Myrtle Beach the bank guy was the worst guy to ever deal with it my salesman was good guy but I would never ever go back there to get another truck cuz they stuck me in First Citizens Bank which is the worst bank to ever deal with they are so impossible they make everything hard for the consumer I don't I would rather be paying more money to go to the bank that has more trustworthy to their customers than First Citizens Bank I do not recommend First Citizens Bank and don't listen to the accountant Guy the one who does the loans over there in North Myrtle Beach Nissan cuz he will see you in the wrong direction which I should have never listened to him cuz he what I really want to say is I can't say but do yourself a favor don't go to North Myrtle Beach cuz I try to call them up to straighten this out and they don't want to be bothered once they get your money they don't want to be bothered so don't deal with the Nissan dealer in North Myrtle Beach because I will never ever go back there to buy another truck
Nissan - known truck engine defects but they aren't telling you
Our Nissan truck pulling a travel trailer broke down over nine hours from our house. After getting the truck and trailer towed to a Nissan dealer, we were told that the engine had to be replaced due to a known manufacturer defect. We were 5000 miles from the warranty expiring thank goodness or I'd hate to think what might have happened. We had to leave the truck, drive 9.5 hours back and forth four times. Makayla, from Nissan Consumer, acted nice and told us she would review the charges we incurred but then Nissan told us they would not compensate for gas and offered us $801, half of which was the tow charge. Nissan knows about this engine issue and does not want to tell anyone. They are hoping you drive it past the engine warranty. Makayla and probably other Nissan employees will pretend to be sympathetic and then tell you they aren't giving you another dime. We didn't charge for our time - we just asked for fuel charges along with hotel bills. We asked for $1500 and they will not pay the most expensive part of travelling - fuel. Nissan is a horrible company. We've learned our lesson and will never buy another Nissan product.
I have been a loyal customer of this…
I have been a loyal customer of this Nissan dealership for the past three years. During that time, we leased three vehicles from them and took excellent care of each one. We chose to continue doing business with this dealership because we trusted them and valued the relationship we had built over the years.
Unfortunately, after returning one of our leased vehicles, we were presented with an unexpected bill of approximately $3,000. Given our history as loyal customers and the care we took with the vehicles, this was extremely disappointing and frustrating.
What was especially upsetting was the way the situation was handled. After leasing three vehicles from the dealership over three years, we expected more transparency, communication, and consideration.
I understand that lease-end charges can sometimes occur, but I believe loyal customers deserve a fair explanation and the opportunity to discuss and understand those charges. We left this experience feeling very disappointed and questioning whether our loyalty was truly valued.
I hope management will take this feedback seriously and reconsider how situations like this are handled with long-standing customers.
If it was possible to give negative I…
If it was possible to give negative I would do so. I bought a 2023 new nissian rogue at 20k miles a light for a malfunction cam on but would go off an repeatedly and when taken to a dealer they said oh not a thing wrong or its not registering codes and repeatedly this happened or when they would see it on they turn off car mak me wait all day then my oh when w went to check it amd drove it around no lights so its fine. Now here I m again almost 50k miles and same damn light all over again except I forbidden them from turning off cr and oh we got the codes and I burned a lot of gas waiting for them to do this. But got codes but now nissian says I have to use my gold warranty and pay a co pay to get it fixed and if its not covered its my problem but excuse me You sold me a damn car with an issue that your dumb employees couldnt figure out or told.me I was suipd and crazy. As a family we've bought nissians for the past 20 years owning 3 sentras, xterra, 2 rogues, pathfinder and a maroon so now you have lost a customer of the entire family cause we buy as a united front none of us will ever buy a nissian again. Once I fix this rogue I will sale it off and say screw nissian. I will never recommend anyone to buy one. I am so thankful my significant other didnt buy the 2027 pathfinder we will move to buying different and I would suggest you learn to stand behind your product and get a better service team at Hq because the person I had was a witch and not even nice. You dont deserve to gain any Americans money with service like this. Mo ey doesn't grow on trees!
2023
Update! If I could give Nissan zero stars, I would. My 2023 Nissan Rogue has been an absolute nightmare from almost day one. What was marketed as a “reliable” new vehicle has turned into a documented disaster — endless breakdowns, multiple shop visits, recalls, and recurring mechanical failures, including a defective turbo hose, failing mounts, and now an EGR valve that won’t even communicate.
Because this vehicle has been so unreliable, I was forced to purchase another brand-new car just to be able to work. I am now stuck paying for two vehicles, double insurance, and still dealing with this defective Rogue — an overwhelming financial burden!!
I travel for work across state lines, and this car has repeatedly put my job, my safety, and my finances at risk. Every issue has been carefully documented, every repair record kept, and every interaction logged. Nissan sold me a lemon and continues to act like this is acceptable business.
If you value your time, your money, or your peace of mind — do NOT buy a Nissan. Save yourself the stress I’m living through and choose a manufacturer that actually stands behind its vehicles. Has now cost me 11 years of on time payments and fixing my credit!!
Nissan let me buy a truck with a jack too short, left me stranded!! Case #56671288
Bought a Nissan titan truck from Green Acres Nissan in west palm beach florida. Ended up getting a flat on the side of the road and became stranded because the carjack inside of the nissan titan was from a nissan frontier so I am told at vero beach, fl nissan. I was told by the dealership, my only option was to pay for a new one and green acres Nissan never tried to correct the problem. Nissan consumer affairs was useless!!! They are claiming that this is a specific case but online that shows that there are multiple people that have had the same problem with their nissan titans.
Will be suing one of your stores.

Appalling Customer Service and Defective Tires on a Brand-New Ariya**
**Vehicle:** Nissan Ariya Engage (Less than 1 year old, 9,500 miles)
I initially wanted to love my Nissan Ariya Engage, but a recent, highly frustrating experience has completely ruined my perception of Nissan’s vehicle quality and customer support.
At just 9,500 miles—less than a year after purchasing the car—one of my tires completely burst while the vehicle was safely left in a parking lot.
When I took the issue to Nissan, they inspected it and openly admitted that the blowout was due to a **manufacturing defect**. However, instead of doing the right thing and taking care of a loyal customer driving a brand-new car, they completely washed their hands of the situation. Nissan claimed that tires are not covered under their warranty and told me I was on my own to deal with the tire manufacturer, Bridgestone.
This started an infuriating endless loop of finger-pointing:
* **Bridgestone** told me that to process a claim, the Nissan dealer needs to officially file it and provide the inspection details.
* **The Dealership / Nissan** has failed to resolve this or provide the necessary documentation to push the claim forward.
Hoping for some corporate accountability, I escalated the issue to the Nissan Consumer Relations team Instead of stepping in to facilitate the claim with their own dealership or Bridgestone, they offered absolutely zero help. Their official advice to me was literally to "continue reaching out to Bridgestone until they attend the call."
When you buy a brand-new vehicle, you expect the manufacturer to stand behind the product they sold you—especially when a part fails due to a recognized defect before hitting 10,000 miles. Leaving a customer stranded in a bureaucratic blame game between the dealership, corporate, and the tire manufacturer is entirely unacceptable.
If you are considering a Nissan Ariya, or any Nissan for that matter, be warned: if something goes wrong, they will not have your back. Highly disappointed and frustrated. Buyer beware.
I purchased my last Nissan in 2022
I purchased my last Nissan in 2022, and I've had 10. It will be the last and I'm going to trade in my wife's as well. The quality is not what it once was. The dealer network is also lacking in morals, ethics, honor, and integrity. My car has had a transmission replaced two years ago. The dealer refused to honor the warranty, and I had to fight them for two months. Managers treated me like dirt. Strikes 1 and 2. The car is a Kicks. Stike 3. Bad transmission again, not going to cover it. Windows don't roll down, radio was broke when I bought it, it was wrecked and not disclosed. Have to use a key to unlock it. Windshield is cracked and cannot be replaced because the collision warning system must be replaced. It doesn't work either. The product in my opinion is unsafe, and unreliable. I would steer clear. The product is trash, and the dealers will not support it.
… Goliath
Nissan Corporate operates like a giant company that thinks it answers to no one. When their local dealerships mislead you or violate guidelines, corporate does absolutely nothing to fix it. Instead of helping, they just run interference, give you the runaround, and protect their franchise locations.
It is incredibly clear that they are working together to hide the truth and withhold the information you are actively looking for. If you think calling corporate will resolve an issue with a deceptive dealership, don't waste your time. They just shield each other from accountability. Go above them. A stone well-placed will bring down every Goliath.
Unethical Practices
Unethical Practices, Retaliation, and Zero Support at Nissan Congreso Culiacán
Review:
I have always been a punctual, responsible, and loyal customer, but my recent experience at Nissan Congreso in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico, has been an absolute nightmare. I hold this specific dealership entirely responsible for the ongoing issues with my vehicle's registry and the official Nissan app.
Everything went downhill during my last service appointment. I had a severe altercation with a service advisor who explicitly calls himself "Christian Asesor Nissan Congreso". During the service, he attempted to charge me for improper, unauthorized, and completely unnecessary items. I confronted him and refused to pay for these shady charges.
Mysteriously, right after this altercation, my official Nissan app started malfunctioning (showing highly inaccurate mileage data that jeopardizes my warranty). It is extremely suspicious that this "administrative error" occurred immediately after I refused to be scammed by their employee.
Since then, the app has been useless, and the worst part is the complete lack of customer service. Absolutely no one at Nissan Congreso, nor at Nissan Mexico headquarters, is willing to help me fix this issue. They are completely ignoring me and washing their hands of a problem created by their own staff. It genuinely feels like retaliation from the advisor and the agency.
If you value your time, your money, and your car's warranty, avoid Nissan Congreso in Culiacán at all costs. Beware of "Christian Asesor Nissan Congreso," and be aware that Nissan Mexico will leave you completely abandoned if their staff messes up your digital records.
