From browsing for a caravan through to the booking service, check in and check out the service was first class.
Communication via email was regular and when I needed to speak to someone Jules was very helpful and extremely pleasant.
Nothing was too much trouble. A representative kept in contact via email throughout our stay to ensure everything was ok.
They even rang to check if we would like to extend our stay.
I have used Nemans before. The caravans are top class always clean and in a great location.
Will be booking another break on our return.

The booking process was easy , you got to choose your caravan with photos and very detailed description. Customer service was exceptional, communication was brilliant. Cant fault a thing. Check in was easy, put in key code at van and sorted, van was absolutely immaculate, everything you need including games and books for the children, the master bedroom a great size with onsuite toilet, tv and huge wardrobe. There was a decking patio area and parking for 2 cars, it was van V24 (Unity Beach Brean), I honestly cannot fault a thing from booking to leaving, even though we holidayed out of season, the theme park was closed but there was still plenty to do. I wouldn't hesitate to book through them again, I fact we are already looking..highly recommended!

Our first visit to ladrum bay and we had a lovely family holiday. Would highly recommend this place for family so much to do.

Where to start with this wonderful lady,from my first phone call explaining the details of my accident and having to cancel our holiday to my husband then being taken into hospital, jules has been an absolute 🌟,not only being patient trying to contact me during hospital apps and visits to my husband,but sorting our cancellation out,thank god ivtook the cancellation policy out,but transferring the money to 2026 where we have 2 new holidays to look forward to,so helpful and patient with me on the phone and all around an absolute delightful customer service experience ,thank you so very much jukes,you have made what has been a horrendous 2 months since my accident so much easier with sorting our holiday cancellation transfer so easy,with many thanks once again mrs p shaw xxx

The caravans views were amazing. Best we've had so far. The caravan was also the best so far. But my only negative is the standard of your mattresses. The singles were awfully springy and the double was like sleeping on the floor. And the windows were very dirty. But other than that it was perfect

An extremely disappointing stay and left a day early due to the quality of the cheap beds in the luxury caravan we were staying in.
The after customer care services were even worse when trying to obtain my deposit refund for my stay as they sent the payment to the wrong account and then were rude and unhelpful in trying to help me resolve it.

This is my first year renting my caravan out through Newmans and they have absolutely excelled in guiding me through and looking after my holiday home. Many thanks to all of the staff and owners as each time I have contacted them they've all been fab! Many thanks to Jules for holding my hand this year xx

Booking through Newmans was easy and set up payment plan. I was kept up to date with booking info. The people at Newmans were nice to talk to. We booked a week at Dawlish sands Devon. The caravan was nice and clean and WiFi was great also not far from shops and beach.

I'll start by saying I hate to be writing such a negative review but I feel newmans need to really see things from our point of view . Having never booked with newmans before we decided to take a chance and book a year in advance, the booking went smoothly , kept updated towards the run up of the holiday , arrived on site and parked the car in the driveway with the intention of heading to the leisure park , the cleaner had just turned up and said give her a hour and the caravan would be ready so we headed off . When we returned we were met with a caravan that was beyond outdated and dishevelled while I don't expect the ritz I would expect a high standard of cleanliness , the interior of the caravan was outdated and quite frankly falling to bits , so much was wrong that our first thought was why ask for a bond on a caravan when its falling to bits . We headed to reception and informed them of the state of the inside, table had chunks missing , net curtains shredded and not even hooked on , edging/trim of cupboards either broken or stripped, a window that wouldn't shut with a gapping hold, a door with a gapping hole , tv that barley worked , dvd player not working, mattress on sofa bed was beyond disgusting , duvets with marks and blood on them . A very uncomfortable outdated double bed which required duvets and blankets which was stained to stop the springs pushing up through . The toilet leaked and the shower . I had to take a ton of pictures in fear that the caravan was such a state that newmans may put this on customers staying there , I highly suggest someone from management go to 153 and have a good slow look around because at over £1000 + in would expect it to not be falling apart and looking how it is. Reception tried to pass it off as old but seriously it shouldn't even be rented out in that state, had we not had my granddaughter with us I would've left immediately. Kudos to the maintenance staff john and kyle that managed to change the sofa bed mattress and bring some duvets but even they couldn't fix all the things wrong with the van . We couldnt be moved as apparently they paid the owners , I suggest you re look into this as you will lose customers with the state of it . We spoke to a few of newmans customers and while some had teething issues none had a list of problems like ours . We then thought we give newmans the benefit of the doubt and book a different caravan for next year but upon entering the reception and seemingly having no recollection of who we were and the problems we had it kind of rubbed the salt in the wounds especially with a offer of free linen if we booked next year, no thank you. And so we walked upto unity beach and booked direct with them instead , I only wished we did that In the first place . I can honestly say I won't be booking with newmans again and my advice would be to inspect the caravans more thoroughly and on the description be honest with the age/state of the caravan .also the cleaners need to be checking the duvets and pillows and blankets for staining . I pulled out a dirty knife and leftover opened frozen box of some kind off chicken fillet .
I actually pity the next lot of people going in as I can imagine what there thoughts would be on the state of it . We are also disappointed that newmans didn't even bother to follow up the list of problems or concerns we raised . We hope newmans take this feedback into consideration and throughly check the standard of the caravans both in cleanliness and the state of the interior and fixtures and fittings , we feel let down and while we made the best of the holiday we will never trust newmans again . I will also add we were informed to take no notice of whats advertised within the caravan as owners can take this out , so again this falls under false advertisement, I work in hospitality and was told not to compare the two things but I strongly disagree, we wouldn't advertise a kettle in a hotel room and then the guest arrive and find out they're isn't one, same for the cleanliness standards . Overall this experience left a bitter taste in our mouths and despite bringing it to newmans attention twice they just didn't care , you'd be lucky if they even remember you . Pictures of the caravan should be updated in real time not when first pitched when they look nice and fresh and not 30 years old and dishevelled. I took lots of photos and would happily send these over to newmans to look through and I'm sure they would agree it's not upto standards.

Thankyou so much for an absolutely amazing holiday home. The caravan that we stayed in was amazing. It had everything a family could want for a perfect stay. It was fully equipped with everything and the layout was perfect. The Wi-Fi was a absolute joy to have to keep everyone in touch with the outside world of social media and the games in the tv cabinet was so enjoyed by us all and provided us with some great memories.

Thankyou so much for helping me to give my family a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back soon again.

We booked through Newman Holidays and stayed at the unity beach caravan park in Brean. The caravan and site in general were lovely, clean and well kept. The caravan had its own fenced off garden which was wonderful and very useful with a dog! The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is due to the swimming, we didn't purchase privilege passes so swimming cost £20 per person. ( £80 for 3 kids and 1 adult) Even with passes it would have cost £40 . So in effect there is no 'free' swimming pool available which you have access to at many other parks. To be fair, we were aware of this before we booked and there was a lot of other things for children to do a site- a big play area with scooter track and another play area by the fair so a few other options.
Overall, a lovely week on a great site.

Our recent holiday with Newmans at Haven Devon Cliffs was nothing short of fantastic, and we can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the quality of our stay.
The lodge itself was simply incredible. It was spacious, beautifully furnished, and felt like a true home away from home, but with that added touch of luxury. Everything was immaculately clean and well-maintained, providing the perfect comfortable base for our family adventures.
And the view! Waking up each morning to the breathtaking views of the Devon coastline was an absolute highlight. Whether we were enjoying a cuppa on the veranda or just relaxing inside, the panoramic sea views were a constant source of joy and a truly memorable part of our trip.
Haven Devon Cliffs certainly knows how to keep everyone entertained. The entertainment programme was brilliant, with a fantastic variety of shows and activities to suit all ages and tastes. From lively evening performances that had us all dancing, to fun daytime events for the kids, there was never a dull moment. The entertainment staff were energetic and engaging, making sure everyone felt included and had a fantastic time.
A special shout-out must go to Beth from Newmans who was absolutely amazing. We had a minor issue during our stay, and Beth handled it with incredible efficiency and professionalism. She sorted everything out quickly and with minimal fuss, ensuring our holiday remained stress-free and enjoyable. Her prompt and helpful assistance really made a difference and demonstrated the excellent customer service that Newmans provides.
Overall, our holiday at Haven Devon Cliffs with Newmans was a truly memorable experience. The fantastic lodge, stunning views, brilliant entertainment, and the exceptional support from Beth all contributed to a perfect getaway. We're already planning our return with Newmans!

If I could give zero star rating I would! I just wish I read all the bad reviews before booking our caravan holiday!
We arrived late at our caravan on the 18/07/25 & when we woke the day after we could not believe the state on the caravan it was filthy my sons feet were black just from the carpet, there were paint on the curtains stains all over worktops, sofas, floors, shower, toilet, bin & blinds we reported it straight away for 2 lady’s to come out to inspect the caravan which agreed with us that it was filthy, we only got an outcome because my husband went to the office to see what was happening they were trying to get hold of the cleaning team which were ignoring them which resulted in my husband waiting around the office for 30/40 minutes! Which then a cleaner came out for 2 minutes to wipe a bin lid down! It needed a deep clean & carpets scrubbed!
They then finally moved us to another caravan which we only opened the door because the smell hit us as soon as the door opened that put the cherry on top of the cake & we left straight away because we knew nothing would get done! We emailed as soon as we left the park as it was out of opening hours, they didn’t have the decency to email until a second email was sent 4 days later! & since then ignoring emails they are a shambles of a company if your looking to stay at Devon cliffs book straight through haven! Avoid this company like a plague they are disgraceful especially Nikki Newman! The customer service is non existent!
Ruining a family holiday which we didn’t get to have because we were running around to see what was happening with our caravan we wasted a day & then got moved to another smelly van it isn’t acceptable!!

I am currently staying at a Newman’s holiday home, and the customer service I have received from Jules on two occasions has been the best.

We booked with Newman's to stay at Devon Cliffs for a week. Jules especially was a great help. We paid for early check in to our caravan but the key safe code was wrong. Jules sorting it out for us and apologised for the inconvenience and straight away refunded the fee we paid for the early check in. She recommended some food we should try and brought the bed guard in that we hired. We have booked with Newman's a few times for Devon Cliffs and always will never had any problems and had great communication with them, thank you.

The lady on the end of the phone was kind, explained everything and was so helpful. She got everything sorted quickly and was just a lovely person to chat to.

We had an issue with the shower in the caravan and called to get it sorted. I had already reported this last year when we visited as we always stay in the same van. Jules, sorted the problem fast and was just awesome. (Jules Denoire) cant thank her enough.

Just got back from a lovely relaxing long weekend at Unity Resort, the caravan was clean and tidy also full of cleaning products, even though I took my own 😛 the bed was super comfy more than enough pillows, didn’t use any cooking utensils as ate out all the time, beautiful own garden and veranda with more than enough seating 😊 will definitely book again with Newmans in the future 5* 👍🏻

Newmans are so lovely to deal with, especially Jules, very helpful and if they are busy they will return your call. Everything about your holiday they give all info beforehand and any problems they quickly deal with. Will definitely be booking my holiday with Newmans again.

Absolutely disgusting fifty unhygienic caravan! Arrived for a 10 day holiday at Dawlish Sands with Newmans and couldn’t believe the state of the caravan. On arrival the floor was dirty, the bed sheets were covered in dried bogies and blood stains and the so called clean towels had stains on!! My disabled son wouldn’t sleep as the floor was covered in dirt and everywhere was unclean….called Newmans and they offered a clean but we had already cleaned the floor for three hours!!! We then put the oven on for some food and the door was broken so the oven wouldn’t work! I called Newmans again but they were closed on a Sunday and the emergency number went to voicemail!!!!!!! On Monday I called Newmans again and emailed them with all the photographs of the property and sheets and towels they said they’d move us to another smaller caravan but we refused and asked for a full refund! We asked for it back the same day so we could book something else for the kids but they declined. We have had 2 ruined days and £200 of f food wasted due to the negligence of this company and I’m absolutely furious. Both the boys are devastated and this was the only holiday we were getting this year! Never use Newmans again! Hideous company. The caravan was fit for the rubbish nothing else
