Planten fantastisch stevig ingepakt en zelfs vóór de gegeven indicatie in huis. Planten zien er mooi uit (Phil Gigas el Alocasia Green Shield). Boven verwachting positief tov de negatieve reacties in Coronatijd.

I tried to contact them before purchasing and I had to leave them a DM on Instagram because they weren't replying (they don't admit any order related comment in their social media). I proceeded to do a combined order with a friend consisting of 9 plants and 1 bulb. When I received them one of the plants had MEALYBUGS, so I wrote to them to let them know. They never replied.
Weeks after, I started to see signs of THRIPS, which I have NEVER had before on my plants. The worst part is that my friend's collection (100+) has been flooded by thrips, too. We are both currently giving treatment to many of our plants, which is costing us even more money, time, and energy. We have already lost some of our plants, the new ones in the first place.

I never do reviews but in this case, I had to. The thrips are incredibly upsetting and they will definitely spread across your entire collection, as they did in ours.

The best online plant order experience ever. Sylvia at the customer service is just amazing, she is the nicest person and helped me with everything I needed! I was a bit scared after reading the bad reviews but I’m so happy with the whole experience, my plant was packed with so much care and arrived in perfect condition to Sweden! 100% recommend

Ich bin mit meiner Bestellung sehr zufrieden. Die Pflanzen (Calathea Beauty Star, Philodendron Golden Violin und Syngonium Confetti) waren sehr gut und sehr umweltfreundlich (kein Plastik bis auf Tesastreifen) verpackt und haben den fast einwöchigen Versand gut überstanden.
Die Lieferung erfolgte deutlich früher als angekündigt, was in Zeiten wie diesen natürlich sehr erfreulich ist, da ja sonst immer alles länger dauert :-)
Ich bin also happy und würde wieder bestellen!

Die Firma ist ein Betrug !
Auch bei mir erfolgte nach Inanspruchnahme des PayPal Käuferschutzes (wegen Nicht-Lieferung )eine sofortige Reaktion von nelumbogarden per Telefon! Leider habe ich mich durch leere Versprechungen dazu überreden lassen, den Antrag zurück zu ziehen. Resultat : Die Bestellung vom 17.April (!) ist nicht geliefert und von Rückzahlung keine Spur !

I ordered 5 x rare Sansevieria from here, having randomly found their website on a Google search. The plants were unavailable elsewhere in Europe and reasonably priced, so I had no problem with going ahead with an order. Only after having placed the order did I find these Trustpilot reviews and was pretty horrified by what I read, expecting, as a result, to receive poor or pest-ridden plants or maybe no dispatch at all, as others have apparently experienced, but I have to say my experience was completely the opposite.

The order was dispatched on time, I received an email confirming dispatch and the plants arrived in the UK just three days later. The packaging was really superb, with multiple layers of protective wrapping, all plants were very healthy, totally undamaged and still potted, (making re-establishment much better than on the bare-rooted plants that I usually acquire) and these were really quite substantial plants too, the exact ones that were pictured on the site when I ordered.

The only minor quibble was that the plants were unlabeled - that's not a problem for me since all 5 are quite distinct from one another but that might not be the case with other varieties, of course.

I would also say I've had no inducement or request to place this review, and I have no idea at all who runs this nursery, but, as an avid collecter and grower of succulents, I thought it was worth adding my own entirely positive experience. I'm sorry others have not had such luck!

Nach 8 Wochen keine Ware, keine Info. Mehrere E-Mails wurden nicht beantwortet. Erst als ich bei Paypal einen Fall geöffnet habe, kam eine Reaktion - und was für eine: „Schließen Sie den Fall, dann wird das Paket versendet.“ So eine unverschämte Antwort! Habe ich natürlich nicht gemacht - Paypal Käuferschutz hat dafür gesorgt, dass ich mein Geld zurück bekommen haben.
Ich rate jedem davon an, bei Nelumbogarden zu bestellen!

Honestly, this is the baddest service I've ever seen. YOUR PLANTS ARE GOING TO COME DEAD TO YOUR HOUSE!!!!!!!!

After more than a month of waiting because they had forgotten to send my order, I receive them in this pitiful state, packed in paper towels and craft. No, I don’t buy plants to try to save them and catch up, I buy them for their beauty and quality. I was tempted by the delivery because of the confinement, because I missed having new plants, moreover, I had flashed on them. What a disappointment!!! I am disgusted. I sent them the photos and asked for compensation, and they’re not in a position to make a commercial gesture despite all their mistakes during this purchase. I don’t recommend this site.

They will not give you your money back, if you return a DEAD PLANT. which was OBVIOUSLY already dead when they shipped it. Than they ask you to give the packetshop a faked recipe (without a plant written on it) to get your money from the packetshop.

The Nelumbogarden experience - worst customer service ever. And they breached the EU's General Data Protection Regulation.

I've ordered a few times from them, 100-400e orders. Since my first order there has been problems. Plants took 2,5 months to arrive and they needed to be reminded via email before mailing them. They could not deliver all the plants I ordered and even after that there was one more missing. I was promised a refund within a week. It did not happen. After weeks of trying to contact them via various platforms (email, Facebook messages and comments, etc., they all got ignored, or if public, deleted) I had to resort to Paypal. In the end I got my refund, an explanation mail and a discount code to their site, which was not even worth their postage fee. From the day I ordered it took them 4 months to take care of all the problems.

For some reason I did keep on ordering and actually got in some succesfull orders as well. But not all the plants I received were in perfect shape or worth the money. There were a few plants with thrips and other bugs upon arrival but I did not bother to complain about every little thing.

The next order was during this year, made with a group. They told me they'd sent the package during a certain week, because the weather was warmer. They however did not succeed in that and the package ended up arriving during a minus degree weather. Four plants were missing and I send them an email about it immediately. After a day some of the plants started to show signs of serious frost damage and ended up rotting and dying. A week went by without a reply to the original email and I wrote a new one. I told them again about the missing plants and included a reclamation about the dead ones. They gave me a rude answer, but refunded the missing plants and asked pictures. And they never answered after I provided them with proof of the mushy black blobs the plants had turned into.

Now I knew I should stop ordering. But I was naive and hoping for them to fix their ways. One more order. After two weeks of waiting they published an explanation about how the COVID-19 situation affected them. I noticed they would (yet again) delete every comment under that FBpost, even if it was a neutral one. This annoyed me, since they did sensor the public critisism, but would not answer to the ones they got via email.

I made a story on my small plant-centered Instagram about them deleting their comments, with proof (not my comment, so I blurred the name) and added some of my earlier experiences with them noting that they have had problems WAY before the COVID-19 situation.

Nelumbogarden contacted me, via Instagram. The first message was a picture of my recent order with my name and home adress showing. In the next message they asked if that was my order. (Note that I had not mentioned on my Instagram that I was waiting for an order from them and my profile did not have my name on it.) I just answered "yes". Their next answer was a paragraph where they blamed me on commenting to their Facebook post (I did not), told me how inappropriate and sensation seeking I was to post about them during these hard times and informed that they would refund my latest order, delete my customer account from their site and block me from ordering from them again - ever. Without me even having time to answer, I received a bunch of emails confirming what they said was going to happen. I must note something positive - never have I ever received a refund from them that quick and easy!

I still answered them with a long text that you can read below. No reply. I felt the need to then add one more comment - a snidy one. Suprisingly that last part was the only thing they bothered to answer to.

Worst customer service ever and a breach of EU's GDPR. Thank god they had done their shady research correct and it happened to actually be my account. At this point it is clear that they do not value their customers and I cannot recommend ordering there.

Absolutely horrible! Worst and rudest customer service ever, they censor and block all criticism on their social media pages, and on top of it all, I can't believe that they actually try to lie that thrips on their plants are "beneficial insects". Oh. My. God. I hope NO ONE will E V E R order from here again.

Ordered three times from them. The first time i got a plant that definitely had thrips. It lost all its leaves and survived eventually but it was a tough process. The second time i won a 50 euro voucher and several of the plants i got from back then (december 2019) died because their root system was so underdeveloped and i also think none of the plants were acclimated. I bought some colocasia bulbs a few months later, one of the three bulbs is still not rooting because of rot issues it had from the start.

Their communication is extremely bad. I don't mind waiting a bit longer for my order, but they don't tell their customers what to expect at all. I mailed them before about when to expect my order, and I either got ignored or got a vague and annoyed mail back.

I avoid to order from them nowadays

I purchased two expensive plants in summer 2019 and only after emailing them twice enquiring about my order (emails also bounced back from their official address, how professional) were they finally sent out. I received a plant that was sold as having "much variegation" which had next to none (price difference was 15€ at that time between the one I bought and the cheaper listing with "less variegation"). Also, both plants came with thrips larvae. After confronting their incredibly rude and unhelpful customer service (and not accepting their lie of it being "beneficial insects"), they even said that it takes them longer to get rid of thrips because they take "a natural approach". Knowing that problem and still sending out plants to customers is incredibly careless and irresponsible. Whole collections could be ruined. I did not get a refund or compensation of any sort and did not send the plants back for fear that I would not get the costs for the return package refunded. NEVER AGAIN.
It also came to my knowledge that they use incentives to encourage positive reviews (voucher code for 10€ off your next order). Highly suspicious business practice but after my order I'm not surprised that they have to resort to such measures.

I only heard bad things but tried to order anyway. I bought a Verrucosum and recieved it with thrips. A lot of people experinced this and were told it was beneficial bugs. Definitely wasn't in my case. It spread to all of my 80+ rare plants and I lost a few because of it.
They sell mutated plants as variegated plants. Customer service is so bad. Shipping time is really bad. They accuse you of lying if you make a bad review. They pay people to make good reviews. Never support this bs webshop.

I ordered a Colocasia Mojito bulb from them, and when it finally arrived 2 months later, it was CRISP to the core. Had only been in the mail for about 5 days. (It was also very very small). Ofc it didn’t root, and just rotted away. 🤦🏼‍♂️ never bothered to go through a refund process, as I at that time already was informed of their horrible customer service. Never going to order from them again, and would definitely not recommend them to any of my plant people. 😅

Zeer bijzondere planten en prima verpakt

My experience has been luckily pleasant! I ordered from them and there was a delay of 2 weeks because of Covid (they did announce delays on their FB group beforehand, that they’re understaffed due to Covid, etc; this might also explain the unresponsive customer service). But once it was sent, I got it in 4 days (I live in France). The plant was well wrapped and I wasn’t expecting a much bigger one than pictured. Almost no transit damage on my plant. I also appreciate DHL, their fast services and real-time notifications. I will definitely order from Nelumbo Garden again.

I recently ordered some plants and they arrived in very good shape.
I still had some questions about how tot treat them and mailed the customers service. I had a prompt answer which really helped me. I would certainly order here again!!

Ich bin mit meinen Pflanzen zufrieden. Covid-19-bedingt hat die Lieferung länger gedauert, aber ich habe fast parallel noch bei einem anderen Shop bestellt und da hat es genau so lange gedauert. Vielleicht könnte man das etwas besser kommunizieren, aber grundsätzlich hat es mich nicht gestört. Ist einfach im Moment so. Verpackt waren die Pflanzen sehr gut. Bei einer Calathea war ich etwas überrascht, dass sie schon ziemlich kleiner war auf dem Bild. Dafür war der Philodendron größer. Nennt man ausgleichende Gerechtigkeit. :) Ich würde wieder bestellen.
