• We are a Top-Rated Seller on eBay with Positive Feedback of 99.7% and Feedback score: 145,000+ (as of 2023)
ABOUT OUR REFURBISHED LAPTOPS:
Our stock comes directly from the original manufacturer. They have been returned to them for a variety of reasons, sometimes simply because they are unwanted, meaning they often arrive in unused condition.
Regardless, they are rigorously tested by our in-house engineers and – if necessary – refurbished to the highest possible standard. The refurbish process involves a full data clean and re-installation of the operating system, so your new laptop is as close to shop-new as we can make it!
Any cosmetic or mechanical issues that cannot be rectified are always clearly described on the product listing, enabling you to buy with confidence.
So why not treat yourself to a laptop that has had a second Quality-Control check, and save money in the process?

Great customer service I initially did an online purchase and book for PDP delivery for the next day delivery as it was Saturday, I contacted NDC just to confirm if pdp did deliveries on Saturday was informed to me no and they changed the delivery free of cost and I got the stuff the next day. It keyboard for my macbook pro and backlight pad was a perfect fit as bought from a different place was not a perfect fit even though all the details model and UK was inserted I got the wrong one from the a different place. Hi Christian, sorry to hear about the problem. What's happening: If you get your password wrong 3 times in a row it locks access for 10-15 minutes. This is a security measure to prevent your account from being compromised. You should have received an email with details of your order, with which you can track your purchase (check your spam/junk folders if you haven't seen it). It doesn't look like you've tried reaching out to us via email yet. If you still can't access your account, or find your tracking details, send us an email to sales@service-x.uk and we can send you an admin link to reset your password. We can also provide you with your tracking details, but you need to get in touch as we won't post that on a public space such as this.
Price and sale great; restrictive warranty conditions not so great!
The sales experience from NDC was OK: good price for the laptop bought, quick delivery and quick responses to any sales questions.
The reason for the 2-star review however is that having bought the laptop I did because of its memory and storage upgrade possibilities, I was concerned to see an after-market tamper seal on one of the screws holding the bottom cover on and preventing access to spare drive bays and memory slots. Several emails with the sales team later, it seems that I cannot remove this to upgrade the laptop myself without invalidating the warranty, NDC / Service-X will not carry out any upgrades themselves for an extra fee, so I either have to return the laptop (at my cost, I assume) or invalidate the warranty and take a risk on a refurbished laptop. At no point during the sales process is this made plain and it really should be. This is just not on, really: for information, Dell themselves do not prevent access to these areas of brand-new laptops and yet honour warranties, because they realise that if you put spare drive bays and other spare capacity into a PC, guess what? People might actually want to use it!

Hi Richard, thanks for taking the time to highlight this. To be honest, this is a fairly uncommon occurrence. Our blanket ban on customers changing and upgrading comes from experiences in the past where they have switched working components for their faulty ones and returned the laptop to us claiming that it was sent to them faulty (which they weren't). This has prompted quite a discussion in our office about how we handle such situations as yours and to be fair, it's easy to understand your perspective. If you'd like to reply to the last email we sent to you, proposing what you would like to do (e.g. would you like to buy drives from us and have them installed?) and we'll see what we can do to accommodate. My colleague will provide you with a quote and we'll move forward from there.
