Bunch of crocks took my wife car crash and lied all the way so they can rack up car hire fees via enterprise made up a write off figure that was above market value … currently seeking legal action constantly putting phone done on my wife disgusting young lads in their offices !!!!!!

Avoid avoid avoid. Sold my car when I wanted it back to repair myself. Looking at taking legal action. Anybody else started this route?

Shockingly bad service. I wish I had seen all these reviews before they took on sorting out my accident. I don’t want to bore you with details, but I would strongly advise anyone considering using this company to run fast in the opposite direction.

Nationwide repairs are now FMG repairs. Complete change of brand, website change etc and I have only just found this out when today I realise through a ridiculous telephone call with a moron, that my very expensive car is being fixed by these guys.

The costumer service was an absolute disgrace the lady on the phone was actually shouting on the phone asking why I did not answer my phone I couldn’t as I was working, she wouldn’t let me talk at all in edge ways and clearly isn’t good at her job, GOOD LUCK on the phone that’s all I can say.

If there is an option of zero stars could have given him that. Absolutely rubbish customer service, instead of listening to the customer problem, the lady at the customer care starts shouting, it sounds like she is being forced to work. My vehicle was book for repairi g just called them to check the recovery time as want to arrange for someone to be at home but this lady who I spoke with don’t know the name was very rude, instead of helping and listening she simply said the body shop is closed and I do t know the recovery time. How can they arrange a decoy without telling us the time. I did spoke with Micheal from Ad Williams today morning and requested him to please tell us the time in advance so that I can make some arrangements and the man promised me someone from the recovery wil definitely call me today but no call was received till 4:30pm, so I called the natoac identity repair centre and this was the answer I got, Absolutely rubbish staff

Had to replace screen through hasting direct car insurance booked appointment no one turned up no call to reschedule have been left chasing this really disappointed with the service

Tried for several days with hours on hold cannot get through!!! We were given an unsuitable hire vehicle after a non fault claim and now cant arrange another one as cant get through to Nationwide also tried message service on their website it wouldn't work no surprised the specific messaging service for new accident does work!!! this is an absolute digrace I'm furious.

My car went in with damage to the rear as someone drove into my car as I was at a zebra crossing
Fmg chatham have said that due to pre existing damage they will not repair it!
I have pictures of my car when it was cleaned the week before and there is no damage there my car is well looked after! This will be going further!
Complete shambles and lies. I am now out of pocket due to their incompetence and damaging my vehicle

I had to take my Vauxhall Vivaro Van in when I lost an argument with a metal gate post damaging the front wing and some of the bumper. Start to finish they couldn't do enough for me and when I picked up the van it was a perfect repair including the new decals and it was washed and 'back to blacked' like new. Freindly staff and a great repair. what more can you ask for? Nothing!

Dont always judge by what you read, my review is for nationwide Hull. After FMG finance set me up here to replace my bumper after a delivery van had reversed and ruined it. It has been delivered back to me today after 4 days from a lovely gentlemen with a full knew bumper and it looks brand new. I am so chuffed, thank you so much.

Awful experience so far! Had to use because of my insurance company to change a chipped window!! Waited a couple of weeks for first appointment, called to say they need to rearrange, fair enough! Moved to another week later, have not shown up, haven’t answered calls, then at the end of the day when I called again, was told unfortunately it needed to be rescheduled for another weeks time!!! My MOT is booked in a couple of days time, which they knew.... and will now fail!!!
Asked for a manager to call back, no call..... not great at all!!! The call centre staff are nice, so don’t blame them.... but poor service from the technicians and managers!!! Have wasted so much of my time..... avoid these and Hasting Direct car insurance who use them!!!!

Saga insurance allocated replacement windscreen job to these clowns.
The first appointment was missed due to staff sickness , we we're called mid way through the day.
After waiting in all day on the 2nd appointment the fitter arrived and said he couldn't change the screen as there was a chance of rain (January, really?) we asked if we could take the car to an undercover workshop or tent but this isn't an option apparently.
The 3rd appointment never happened and we got no call, when we rang we were told the fitter had come into contact with someone and needed to get a COVID test. Why didn't you tell us??
This company is a joke, avoid at all costs.

Don't use. My insurance company made me use them for a cracked windscreen. They cancelled on 8 separate occasions over 6 weeks. Twice they didn't even phone to tell me. Reasons included rain, didn't have a windscreen & workers on holiday. Complaint to insurance company led to another company fitting windscreen & they did it on the same day.

Fuming... This company is lacking in customer service! We waited in all day on Saturday for a windscreen repair. We were told we were second appointment of the day, the first being only 7 miles away. Then we received a text at lunchtime to say we had been bumped into the afternoon. Then we got a phone call asking if we could supply a gazebo for the technician to work under as the weather had changed. We managed to borrow said gazebo but at 3.30pm we received a text from the technician saying he had run out of time and he would not be coming to repair our windscreen after all and someone from the office would call today (Monday) to rebook us! Yes, you guessed it... no phone call received today! I have tried calling their office this afternoon but conveniently they do not answer the phone.

Absolutely Diabolical !!

I could really bore you with the detail but basically my vehicle is heading elsewhere for rectification works....

This is a company I would stay clear of. Honesty and integrity doesn't appear to work within this company. Poor workmanship, claiming work has been done but not. Claiming to have done "global inspection reports" and claiming faults with a car prior to work was not reported. It's funny how the faults which were not there prior to their work (which were not there) is directly linked to the work they were carrying out. Claiming I signed for work when I wasn't even there at the time of repair. Claiming they advised me that they will not pay for the work being done properly yet when I aske for evidence for their claims, they put the phone down on me.

On November 5th I got a chip in my windscreen whilst driving.

On November 6th, I called Nationwide Repairs to have a chip in my windscreen repaired. The technician who came out for the soonest appointment (over a week later) on November 14th 2020, arrived and stated that the chip had been repaired previously, and that he would make a note for the company to issue a refund.

Not convinced, I took my car to Halfords on November 17th for a second opinion. Their technicians said that the Nationwide technician had mistaken an air bubble for a prior repair, and went ahead and repaired the chip on the spot.

I then called on November 19th and had been promised that a refund would be issued and to wait 3-5 business days.

Today, it is November 26th and my bank account has not received the refund. To follow up, Ive called, sent an email, and sent social media messages - but no further advancement.

Its safe to say that I've received terrible customer service!

I have had the experience of asking this company to replace a windscreen on my car. i booked a week later than the earliest date offered to allow time to get everything in place as times are difficult to work within. i get contacted on the day the work was supposed to happen and told they could not do it, the windscreen did not come in on the delivery. they explained that they only get deliveries on the day for the work needed that day.
i questioned the logic of working this way but thought, we were in a pandemic so things happen. i then asked for a new date as i had an mot planned the following day, i was willing to drive 100 plus miles to get this sorted as i am a key worker and i was going into lockdown the following day and life was going to get difficult. i was told no chance, they only have mobile fitters and no base. ok so i asked for another date and they offered a week later, this was no good, that was when my mot runs out so i asked for an earlier one, they said no, i asked why and they said all of their engineers were busy, poor answer. all they could offer was the phone number of another company. i mean really!
i raised a complaint, not because they couldn’t do the work but because the customer service and help was awful. later that day i was contacted by someone regarding my complaint and after explaining the whole situation again i was told how brilliant the company was and all the other companies would be the same. he did not like it when i told him he was wrong and as the customer in this situation my experience is poor. i has to ask if they had done everything they could do to get my windscreen changed rather than cancel. he told me how they had tried everything they could, spoke to other companies and independent engineers before cancelling so it was a bit of a dagger for this person when i called him out, as i had arranged for the work to be done with the other company i was given the number by his company to contact.
i do not want any financial outcome from my complaint i just want everyone to know how poor they are when everything didn’t go perfectly smooth.
i received a letter today saying my complaint is resolved.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Do not use Nationwide even if it’s done through an insurance company.
They do not care and are not a professional repair centre.
I had a simple straight forward repair that would take no longer than two weeks. It took 10 months of chasing everyone to get my car back and when I did manage to get some where they said my car was a write off? DO NOT USE PLEASE You will regret it.....
