Music Gateway Arvostelua 

From the experience I've had with them so far, they've been absolutely stellar. I didn't even have a paid subscription with them at the time when I reached out with a fairly specific issue, but they were unbelievably helpful, understanding and prompt with their communication and level of support, compared with another distribution company (*cough* Ditto).

It's so nice to get through to what seems like an actual human when you reach out to a company like this, instead of what seems like AI generated responses from the aforementioned competitors - it really makes a genuine difference to the overall experience as a self-employed music creator

This was our band's first experience promoting our music through a PR campaign with a service like Music Gateway, so we were a bit nervous about investing the money without knowing if it would pay off.
I have to say that we're very happy with the results!
Leila and Lee were incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with throughout the process. I’d definitely recommend this service to bands that have some budget for promo and want to give it a try!

Very misleading and dissapointing. You say you want to provide free distribution for your artists. But Artists have to pay for an anual free for pro to release just one album . I just joined today, wanted to upload my album, and found out you gotta pay to do so. This is not free distribution. Deleting my account Immediately.

Update: November 30th 2024 . I just got an email from Trustpilot saying that they tried to flag my review for defamatory. It was confirmed that this was not the case. I have sent my response to trustpilot. Nice try Music gateway!

Fred particularly has been amazing! The most attentive advisor I could have asked for. He really held my hand every step of the way and helped me get my head around how to promote my music which has always been a mystery to me. Music Gateway also has a great website which is very user-friendly.

Customer service fixed a problem about conflicting releases, and were helpful and polite; however it did take more than a week and several emails to achieve this. Still, thanks very much for the service!

There’s a certain transparency from Music Gateway that leaves me confident that they know what they are doing in the marketing sector. I feel like a more confident artist and more realistic with where my path as an artist is after a fairly successful campaign with organic results and informative reports. Highly recommend!!!

I contacted the service department today and Marcus answered me in a few hours. I had made mistakes in transferring my music and had to do the process all over again and I would have left without any coins. Marcus Power helped me and credited my account with extra coins so I can proceed, without having to buy new coins. Thank you very much!

Have yet to see how effective Music Gateway is at connecting my music to sync opportunities as I joined quite recently, but so far their customer service has been great, and in particular a shout out to Marcus. I had a query about why some of my releases were missing from the library and he responded and resolved this for me very promptly.

Went above and Beyond when dealing with my issue, always quick and efficient in all the times I needed help.

To the point in what I needed to fix, definitely one of the best customer supports in any business I ever dealt with.

I was approached by music Gateway with a job offer, it sounded pretty good. They told me that I will make 80-100USDC just for training. I was told I had to have a digital wallet and they suggested crypto wallet. They also said I could withdraw my 100dollars usdc after training. Well I finished the training and they kept putting off showing me how to withdraw my money. So I worked for over a week each time I asked how to withdraw my earnings they told me finish today's work and I'll show you tomorrow. Tomorrow never came. As I went through the music list I came across an album I had to submit. With the album it puts your money into a negative balance which you then have to put your own money in to get it unfrozen. I did this once and carried on. Finally after 8 days of working I'm told my salary was added to my already grown earnings. Now I asked how to withdraw the money to my bank account and once again I was told to finish the days work. Before I could finish I hit another album. Now I'm negative 1356 in my account. I'm told again I have to deposit money from my own account to get this number out of the negative. That's 1856 canadian. After I do this they will show me how to withdraw into my bank account. Well once bitten and twice shy. I'm not using 2000 dollars to have it taken from me and still not be shown how to withdraw. They're ignoring me now and they're a complete scam. They don't pay even what they promise to complete the training. Stay clear.

Great service, great results above what was anticipated, and would thoroughly recommend!

I signed up with Music Gateway in 2019 I believe. My music producer passed way in 2021 & in 2022 due to failing to inform them of this they took the annual subscription. I contacted them to explain & they stated there is nothing they can do despite knowing I no longer needed the service. They assured me that they would cancel future subscriptions. I lost my partner at the beginning of the year which has led me to additional financial commitments and Music Gateway have taken another £150 refusing to reimburse it a day within subscriptions after explaining my situation, being aware I no longer use their service and offered me the following
“It would be good to know if you are still making music. If you wanted to utilise the account given its massive upgrade recently, I could look at crediting your account by 50% of the subscription value to continue your membership with us. With our official partners at Spotify and cool analytics tools, you can have more autonomy over your music in the digital space”.
Very upsetting & disappointing service

Music Gateway was able to help get my music video up to 20k views, which is more views than any of my other music videos. They were also able to get my single reviewed by a couple publications like Wonderland Magazine, and up my streams. They did so much more for my music than I could have done myself, and I will definitely be using there services for any future releases.

Sam Loughlin at the sync department did a really good job to get my music heard by some of the most influential music supervisors.

Marcus was very helpful today. He gave me an in depth video which showed me how to navigate creating an album. Very excited for these guys to be part of my music journey! Thank you!
