Mulberry Bush Ltd Arvostelua 

Requested and paid for gift wrap. Item not gift wrapped, complained, no response and money not returned. My experience is this company is dishonest.

We lived in Australia before my daughter was born and my husband is Australian, so it's nice to have some aussie animal toys/books to help us connect her to some of her roots, but they are hard to come by here. When I saw this kangaroo push along toy I had to buy it for her 1st birthday. I'm so pleased with it, the quality is lovely and such a fantastic price. Really quick delivery too, very impressed with my first Mulberrybush purchase!

Deliveries made when scheduled. Toys were brilliant and good quality.

Bought Bigjigs track expansion kit, t-junction and red brick tunnel from Mulberry Bush. Great service, all arrived as scheduled and good price. The track is all compatible with Brio, Toys 'R' Us and Tesco (Carousel) track. Our two year old girls love the tunnel especially. Would recommend products and Mulberry Bush.

I ordered some personalised gifts for a member of family which took over 3 weeks to arrive. They came just before Christmas on the 21st December and I had ordered a box of red personalised HB names pencils and a personalised name tin.

The pencils were a very oppressive dark almost burgundy colour and not at all like the website photo showing more of a cherrry red pencil (recipients favourite colour) and as per her request.

The tin arrived dented and with a lid that was loose / poor fitting which simply slips off so not a closed tin.

I immediately contacted them that same day on the 21st and from the photo I sent they said the pencils "The pencils are the shade of red they have always been, as shown online and in our catalogue, your pencils are from the same batch as those photographed. We are not able to refund or exchange personalised items unless they are faulty."

Firstly, I have never seen or ordered from their catalogue so that is insignificant. Secondly, surely they should be requesting ro have them back via Freepost to inspect in person which is what I was requesting and for a replacement colour to be sent? I can assure all reviewers that the colour does not match in the slightest. I had the pencils in hand so surely I can see the difference. I am also not colour blind.

Instead I am met with a rigid conflicting response both denial and dismissive.

As for the tin, they said "We would like the tin to be returned to us so that any fault can be addressed with the supplier and that is easier when we have the item concerned that is faulty in our possession"

They said they could then refund me for that or replace it AFTER Christmas. How would that have been any good? Expecting me to give the recipient a gift after Christmas and not having one for the day itself!

They did not see my point of view and the pencils are so visibly different in colour it is ridiculous! They then later said via a PayPal dispute that there can be colour variations! Yet nothing indicates that on the website decription. Had it done so I would not have ordered in the first place.

Poor tone and general customer service. My advice is to not order red HB pencils if you are expecting a standard "red" finish and live in hope when ordering anything else in case any other part of your order is not as expected.

In the end I ordered a replacement set of pencils elsewhere which arrived the next day at no extra cost and in time for Christmas. The Mulberry Bush ones were not given as a gift and likely to go in the bin as I did not want a disappointed child expecting cheery bright red named HB pencils and being given an oldey worldy style of red instead.

Mulberry Bush said in one of their email response "We are sorry you are disappointed but hope when the child receives them she will enjoy having something special with her name on." quite patronising and presumptuous as they do know the child.

Unfortunately PayPal also did not ask for photo evidence from me or read into my case so did little to help resolve the dispute.

I notice that Paul Copeland the MD always comes back to any negative reviews and the tone offers no acknowledgment of a customer's valid views, so I expect it will be a one sided response and still not offering to have inspected those blasted pencils in person. Photos will always depict darker and if there are colour variations, their product description should note this. However, if they are exactly as their catalogue and website then they should arrive as such. They did not and This company is inflexible and also lacked heavily in Christmas spirit!

The quality of the merchandise was very good. The junior tiddly-winks gift was beautifully crafted and was played with for hours. The rag doll was very sweet and Penguin Pile up also enjoyed.

I brought fire engine books for my daughter and nephew (both almost 3yo) they absolutely loved them. Really encourages imaginative play. The books are bigger than I thought they'd be but easily stored as folds quite flat. Really great sturdy affordable product which will hopefully be used for some time! Thanks Mulberry Bush!

Liiking for something original for the kids as stocking fillers, we came across the Mulberry Bush website. With such a huge variety of personalised products, there is an option for every budget and taste. The service was great and the prices good. Delivery arrived in time for Christmas.

The item were unanimously of good quality, particularly the named pencils. The sticky blue starfish thing was of a much better durability that most of its sort (ie men with sticky hands/feet).Wish I bought another of the dinsosaur games in retrospect. All good.

Bought 2 of these one for our 3 year old and another for our 7 year old. Didn't open the package till closer to wrapping christmas eve and realised they are smaller than thought. Fine for 3 year old but too kiddish for 7 year old.

Fabulous service and the product really did exceed my expectations. We bought the village shop. It was easy to assemble, solid, sturdy and delighted my grandchildren. Great value for money too :)

This was bought as Christmas present for my grandson who was thrilled with it.

Lovely well sized moses basket with pretty red and white gingham bedding. Two year old granchild filled it with animals and dolls immediately!

The delight as the gift was unwrapped was a preview.
Subsequently the electrics gift has provided hours of enjoyment that are not only educational but amusing and fun. Perfect!

I am so pleased with this item as its for my 4 month old granddaughter. I was looking for a rag doll but most are for children of 3 years upwards. This one was ideal as its a teether too. Cant wait go give it to her when we meet up for the first time next week.

Not all children are white and pretty dolls don't have to be blonde. Won't be buying anything for my Thai grandchildren from you.

A pleasure to deal with from start to finish. website easy to follow and purchase items of interest. Delivery service was quick and efficient all items sent with one postage fee, packed and protected well for transit. On arrival of order I was amazed by the outstanding quality of the toys they are built to last and will provide hours of fun for the many children at the nursery.

Personalised birthday book and personalised overall are very good, and jigsaw cat is nice too, Good company to buy from.

Bought for grandson's 3rd birthday. Think he will love it. Was very well packed and arrived promptly. Mulberry Bush have a wonderful selection of 'different' toys which can't always find on high street.

Dr WH must have dealt with Mulberry bush in an alternate universe. When our order arrived on December 9th it included a digibird with no activating whistle/perch. When i rang customer services that morning the initial response was that 'some of them don't come with a whistle'. The catalogue description states otherwise. Eventually I was told that a whistle would be sent by post. When it hadn't arrived by 15th I rang again and was told that I should be patient and could always whistle . Two days later I rang again and was told that a replacement would be sent by first class post. When by 4th Jan it had still not come I rang again and was told that the whistle had not been sent and was invited to send the article back and they would investigate. Catch 22 as t&c say articles should be sent back in a saleable condition or no refund. I will be sending a letter to Jonathan Copeland, MD and owner, with more details
