I reported two problems with my house in December appointments for January with cancelled for February rhen cancelled again until April. An interim appointment was made to do a mold wash however when they came out they said would not help the situation so went away, then turned up again on a day I wasn't there for the mold wash which I was told was no use anyway. Trying to contact today to confirm appointment and have been in queue for 15 minutes then call gets cut off whilst writing thus review I am on my fourth attempt at contact today and this happens each time

Morgan Snidgits are a poor company, this morning (25/03/24) I have already been cut off 3 bloody times while trying to phone, each time it puts me to the back of the queue, why have my local council given them another contract?I would sack ALL the management

Sloppy workmanship. They installed a fire door closer on our flat without drilling pilot holes - cracking the wood and destroying our door frame.

Lee the electrician came to our property at Eccles Grange Backworth yesterday and I felt it my duty to let MS know what a superb job he did for us…. Cleared up after himself and was polite and extremely helpful

I had a repair appointment with them on the 4th of January this year. Was hoping the problem could be fixed with an oven contact, as the kitchen was shutting off after a small circuit when I turned the oven on. Could never use it, so needed urgent work.

2 guys came over, listened to all I explained about the problem, and without any checks told me that the oven was faulty and most probably needed to be checked. They didn't check any cables behind the oven, nor the connection of electricity to the oven, and not even the switches of the kitchen. Just a verbal statement, with no proper checking.

Had the oven repair guy coming over, and telling me that the previous Morgan Sindall guys probably were too lazy to do anything, hence the blame for the oven check.

I hope I never use Morgan Sindall again ever in my property, as that was the worst way to deal with a customer who just needed the wires to be checked and make an adequate connection to the oven.

The most useless company I have ever had the most depressive time be stuck with.
This company does supposedly council repair work.. Reported issue in June.. Now middle of November.
This repair is life threatening to me. Soffit falling above my front door.. Having had open brain surgery. I have a weakened skull. And four bore wholes. I fear walking in and out of my door.
Safe housing is Basildon councils mandate..
It is going to go to the ombudsman very shortly.

I've been waiting quite a few weeks for a plasterer to plaster my walls following work done by Morgan Sindall tradesmen. I had the plasterer come today and supposedly these walls have been plastered by him and ready to paint. Please see image this only allows me to post 1 image so not very helpful. But there is 2m3 different walls

I went to an interview and I was told by Cathryn Cook – Purchase Ledger Supervisor that she hates the country (USA)I am from and the people there and I sent a thank you letter they would not hire me. They lied on how long the interview was and did not have a job description. During the interview Cathryn and Angela talked about staff members. Very unprofessional.

I told them 6 weeks ago that the house next door that they are responsible for had waste water leaking onto my property
They changed a pipe which didn't solve the problem
After a few days the funding to do a proper exploration of the drain was agreed
This still has not been done
I will be calling my insurance company next week and asking them to assess the damage as my patio is ruined and my wall is bowing and this issue has to be sorted which should reduce their liability for the damage because hopefully the damage will not get any worse

Worst company to deal with, either as employee or customer perspective.
Avoid them, there are much better options

I want to out no stars. How they can call themselves a company is beyond me. Bunch of cowboys running this firm clearly. How can I have no actual doorlock on my front door for nearly 6 weeks and they think this is okay. You cannot speak to anyone there as calls don't connect. This company needs shutting down. My mental health is at an all time low due.to this company. Took them 3 visits to my home to replace some taps. 6 visits to measure a window..3 visits so far for my front door to be fixed as lock gave up and I literally couldn't get into my home. Window , doors and taps still not fixed to this day. I'm on 8 tablets a day now for stress and anxiety thanks Morgan sindall. Your own staff even trash the company name..how can so many people quit. Avoid this company at all costs if you can. The supervisor has promised a call for last 5 weeks...Guess what still waiting. Cowboys 🤠

Long series of bodge and run issues with our roof, lots of excuses and reasons why things can’t be done despite Basildon council giving the go ahead for works to be done. No follow up to check on works done or in our case not done. No complaints department and no one seems to know what’s going on. Ongoing since October 2022.

Took it upon themselves to move wiring providing internet to our property, resulting in the destruction of said wire and severing of our internet connection.

During their time working on the St Mark's school in the Southampton area, this company has floated regulations on several occasions starting working before 08:30 causing lots of noise. Blocking the road and sometimes even small collisions and now for them to tamper with wiring that they are not responsible for and should not be legally allowed to move. This is very much the straw that broke the camel's back, on what has been a project filled with neglect and incompetence.

Morgan sindall have been working within the Southampton area building a new school on the old st marks site. Since being here they’ve hit 2 cars with lorries and even had one of there own team knocked down by a car. I’ve complained several times about there activities to the manager about there site.
I’m writing this today as this company have had lorries arriving before 8 am for a couple of weeks, theses lorries are waking the residents up, not to mention the beeping from forklifts all day. Theses lorries have left my car full of dust and dirt, it so bad now that my car needs a full valet.
I’ve emailed the manager about theses concerns ( again ) but am still waiting for a reply. The residents expect a certain amount of inconvenience, but not to the point where they are breaking the noise laws by starting before 8.30 am. Maybe someone will now contact me after leaving this review, you’ve ruined my car and are now affecting my well being. This company have also been driving a cherry picker up and down our road, which is also illegal.
