I have never used MoneyGram to send…
I have never used MoneyGram to send money out of the USA before. Today, I tried to use their service, but unfortunately, after opening an account and providing all the required documents, my money transfer was declined without any reason.
I spoke with an agent who fixed the error, but the transfer was still unsuccessful later. It was a waste of time, so I decided to use Remitly instead.

MoneyGram transfer failed
I often transfer funds between the Netherlands and Indonesia using a number of different service providers. I was attracted by the first time user zero fee and good exchange rate to use MoneyGram. After following all instructions to make a transfer including signing up, automatically saving my password and giving a lot of sensitive data the transaction was declined.
I then received an email telling me to visit one of their locations to send in person. This is not an option for me, it is time consuming, costly and inconvenient with no guarantee of success.
I signed out, tried to sign back in to find my saved details didn't work.
I little faith in MoneyGram ongoing and have used a different service.

What an absolutely pathetic display of “customer service. Apparently, forcing customers to provide third-party details is perfectly acceptable, but the moment you ask to cancel a transaction, suddenly your money is fair game to be seized.
Truly impressive levels of incompetence, intimidation, and disregard for the customer. If this is their idea of professional service, they have certainly set the bar impressively low. An utterly disgraceful and ridiculous experience from start to finish. Boycott Moneygram

It takes little to no time to transfer money via money gram
The money transfer was easy to understand and took no time at all. Fill out the information boxes and within seconds it seems the transaction is complete with receipt.
