I always find the team at Moneycorp responsive and informed. I work with them through my online account and in person. My account manager is always available when she says she will be and understands the plan. I have been working with Moneycorp since 2012 and really appreciate their help in managing my foreign transactions.

This was my first time working with Moneycorp and it was great! Everyone I spoke to was patient, kind and helpful, and all went smoothly. Big thanks to the whole team!

As an executor in the UK, I recently had to transfer legacies to two nephews in Australia and decided to use Moneycorp for this after reading in Moneysavingexpert that it and similar firms offer better exchange rates (for larger amounts) than the banks whilst charging no fees. I found it simple to set up an account on their website and shortly after doing so was called by Jack, a Moneycorp Private Client Manager, who quickly and clearly described their money transfer service and offered to assist me in using it. He also told me about their GBP to AUD rate which was significantly better than my bank's rate. Having not used their service before, I was grateful for his assistance which he provided with a light touch throughout the process, which is actually very straightforward, without at any time making me feel as if I was being talked down to. As the process progressed, I was contacted by Osama, another, equally engaging and clear Moneycorp member, who conducted a second, "independent" check of the payee details. Sadly, my bank were very slow in effecting the CHAPS payment to transfer the legacy money to Moneycorp but once they received it they wasted no time in paying the requisite AUD amounts to the two nephews - exactly as Jack had described and in accordance with the contract they had drawn up for the transaction. I highly recommend the company for the straightforward and great value transfer of GBP (greater than £5K) in another currency.

We had a corporate account with Moneycorp for well over 10 years, not a big customer but always used them for European purchases.

Tried to buy Euros today online, couldn’t log in/ told to phone 0207 589 3000 which put me through to private not corporate, eventually after nearly 15 minutes of waiting got through to our supposed dealer who informed me they had closed our account, no warning, no letter - we are not doing enough business period.

So much for supporting a small business - unprofessional - not the sort of business we would want to deal with now anyway.
If you are a small business avoid this crowd they couldn’t care less.

I will not suggest anyone to join this company , saying this with personal experience after working there for 2 years majorly in coventry office. This review is to coventry office handled by a person who is having zero knowledge about payments but handling cross border payments operations, that particular person promotes and recruit people who does not have any knowledge of payments and pulling and loding burden on others and finally when it comes to reward will get peanuts like less than 4%,i have tried to explain all this things to CEO when i was there but did not get chance to explain. HR team i guess comes only to sleep in company. This operations head is one of the pain for whole organisation and communal person to recruit people from his community

I transferred a large amount of money into MoneyCorp, via J.P Morgan New York. Janaid and Jaronomo stated he would keep me updated on my US & UK accounts. This large amount went missing and NOT one agent kept in touch to locate the funds. It took TWO MONTHS to eventually have the money deposited into my account. I Would Never recommend MoneyCorp to anyone.

The MoneyCorp Team are elite, much better than Wise. I communicated with a few staff, and onboarding was pleasant, and I had transferred over 100k euro within 3 days, and once payment was made, it was within my account in an hour. Special thanks to Oliver Pragnell too!

Customer service responsive and helpful when resolving issues.

I made a USD 17,000 transfer to a USA account on Monday, but days later it still hasn’t been sent. I received conflicting explanations, and a promised urgent action was never carried out. The website is also very slow, which doesn’t inspire confidence. I’ve now been told the payment may go through tomorrow — watch this space.

Mon expérience avec Moneycorp a été extrêmement négative. J’ai effectué un transfert d’argent, puis j’ai rapidement demandé l’arrêt de la transaction et la restitution intégrale de mon argent.

Malgré cette demande claire, le transfert n’a pas été correctement annulé. Lorsque j’ai enfin récupéré mon argent, le montant restitué était inférieur à la somme initialement envoyée, sans explication précise ni justification acceptable.

J’ai contacté le service client à plusieurs reprises pour comprendre cette différence et obtenir des réponses claires. Les échanges ont été longs, compliqués et peu transparents. J’ai eu le sentiment de devoir insister constamment pour obtenir des informations concernant mon propre argent, ce qui est inadmissible.

Cette situation m’a causé une perte financière, beaucoup de stress et une perte de temps considérable. Un service de transfert d’argent devrait inspirer confiance, être clair sur les frais et respecter les demandes de ses clients, ce qui n’a absolument pas été le cas ici.

Au final, cette expérience laisse un profond sentiment d’injustice et de manque de professionnalisme. Je déconseille fortement Moneycorp et recommande de faire preuve de la plus grande prudence avant d’utiliser leurs services. J'espère pouvoir récupérer mon argent voler un jour 😭

Very helpful throughout the entire process. Very fast transfer of foreign funds. Good company to deal with. Have used them several times over the past 15 years and would recommend if needing to transfer significant funds abroad.

Usama did an excellent job in sorting out my wire transfer which was missing the appropriate routing number. He is always so helpful. This is why I always recommend Moneycorp to anyone considering currency exchange requirements.

I am trying to get customer service from Moneycorp, but having endless problems.
3 months it has been going on so far and still not finalised.
This message will no doubt get the standard, "we are sorry to hear that, but contact customer services and someone will look into it for you"

I have been a long-standing Moneycorp customer, but my recent experience has been extremely disappointing. Over the past several months, I have repeatedly attempted to carry out straightforward administrative changes—adding a user, updating an account name, and even closing an account to open a new one. Despite multiple attempts, I have received no meaningful response.

I have been trying for three months to add a user to my account with no reply at all.

I have been trying for two months to either change the name on an account or close it and open a new one.

When setting up an account for a brand-new company with minimal transactions, the process was delayed for a month, only to be asked for compliance documents—yet the only transaction they seemed focused on was one involving another FX company.

As a loyal customer for many years, it feels as though loyalty carries no weight. Basic communication and reasonable turnaround times should not be too much to expect, yet both seem to be missing.

Moneycorp has historically provided good service, which makes the recent decline all the more disappointing. I hope they address these issues, as their current level of responsiveness is far from acceptable for a company in the FX and payments space.

24/11/2025. After the usual, sorry about . . . .
I have eventually got them to confirm cancellation of the account I requested -2 months to stop an account.
As far as the other requests, I decided to take my foreign currency transactions to other companies and have happily managed to get everything all sorted within 2-3 DAYS. It was smooth, rapid and friendly. I would recommend others to try companies like TORFX or Currencies Direct for better customer service.
With Moneycorp you are just a number despite years and years of financial business in excess of £500K.
If Moneycorp still want to answer o this review with another "We are sorry. . . ", you are wasting your time.

27/11/25 - As I said, their reply was about as sincere as their service. The so called person that has been in touch was unable to assist or be helpful in anyway. The company needs some serious management reviews if it is to make a mark with forex customer service.
I suggest people look around before making any decisions with this lot.

We sold a property in Spain and Moneycorp John Hollway(Agent Spain)and Oliver Pragnell(Agent UK) communicated with us information every step of the way and made the transactions stress free and seamless and got us a superb exchange rate.
We are delighted with their handling of our funds with the rest of their team.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment following our recent experience as a long-standing client of Moneycorp.

For nearly eight years, our company has maintained a loyal and professional relationship with Moneycorp, relying on your amazong service to handle international supplier payments with efficiency and trust. During that time, we worked with an exceptional account representative who consistently provided outstanding service, responsiveness, and support, qualities that made Moneycorp stand out as a true financial partner.

Unfortunately, since the change in management that came with the transition to the new online platform, the level of service and professionalism has declined dramatically. We were forced to migrate to the new system without proper guidance or communication, and customer support became virtually non-existent. Our written correspondence with members of management was met with dismissive and, at times, unprofessional responses.

Most concerningly, we were presented with an ultimatum, to either switch to a “private” account with a minimum payment commitment of 10,000 USD, or be offboarded entirely. When we questioned this approach, our account was abruptly terminated within 30 days, with no prior discussion, despite eight years of loyalty and a flawless record of compliance. We were even told, in writing, that Moneycorp had “never made any money” from our account, a statement that was both disrespectful and wholly inappropriate coming from a professional financial institution.

This experience has been profoundly disappointing and entirely at odds with the values of professionalism, integrity, and partnership that we had come to associate with Moneycorp over the years. We hope this feedback encourages your leadership team to review internal communication standards, client transition policies, and the way long-standing relationships are handled, especially when clients have shown consistent loyalty and transparency.
