Twice I went to browse his cars,the first time the owner who I believe to be called John was hovering around and never made the effort to approach me when he noticed me, when I approached him afterwards regarding a car he was very dry and didn't make much effort to engage in conversation. I took a car out for a test drive and noticed the engine management lights were on. When I asked about it he said "don't worry about that". With me having limited knowledge about cars I decided to leave the car for now. Few days afterwards I took my friend with me who knows a bit about cars. The closing time for his garage is 6pm, it was now 5.20pm. I started looking at the same car again, and again he made no effort to approach us and basically ignored us, he then started to what it looked like closing up for the day, and pulled down the shutter on his showroom. I said "oh are you closing now"? He said "yep". I said " it says you close at 6 on your website" and he replied 'oh does it' and carried on to lock up. For someone who was potentially about to make a sale of car, twice he gave very poor customer service skills and especially the second visit I thought he was horrendous. No chance I was giving him a penny of my money with his stinking attitude.

Excellent service and a lovely car. My second car from Mon, and as always helpful and friendly.

We recently had an appalling experience with Mon Car Sales/ HJL Trading LTD, and we feel compelled to warn potential customers about his unethical, unprofessional, and unfair practices.The car had significant and dangerous mechanical issues and was not roadworthy. Constant trips to report dangerous faults to no avail. When we confronted him about this and executed our right to reject the vehicle, he was evaisive and dismissive! I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to reconsider and take their business elsewhere. This kind of dishonest behaviour should not be tolerated in society and I sincerely hope the authorities deal with him appropriately in due course. Absolutely AVOID Mon Car Sales/ HJL Trading LTD at all costs. If I could rate him zero stars I would!
