Superb Indian & Chinese Restaurant in Central Ashton
An excellent restaurant near Ashton Bus Station in Tameside, very plush seating, modern, airy and comfortable. The food is delicious and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. As it is open all day (apart from Mondays), it can be visited at lunchtime. The lunch menu consists of a delicious and very reasonable priced platter of a starter and two main dishes along with rice and naan bread. The portions of rice and naan bread are a little small but of course, extras can be ordered. This first experience was a lunch visit but I look forward to visiting for a substantial evening meal at some point in the near future. But with my first visit, extremely impressed, the Keema Matar was particularly outstanding. In addition, the provision of the iconic Mango Lassi (one of my favourite drinks in the world) is always a positive and invariably in my book separates the 'ok' curry houses from the elite !
