Bad communication but the item did arrive eventually. No problem with item very happy thank you

I'd been waiting for a specific item to be back in stock for months, so I set up email alerts to be notified as soon as it was. The 'restock' notification was received on 22 Jan, so I placed an order from Tigers Direct that same day.

After a week, I contacted customer service asking why there'd been no tracking update. They apologised and said that they hadn't yet received the shipment and that they would contact the purchasing team to get an update. Since then, nothing's been heard. It's been almost 3 weeks now.

If the company didn’t yet have receipt of the item shipment, why was it posted as “in stock” on the website? Seems entirely irresponsible to have conned people into ordering a £220 item from their site with the false assurance that the item was confirmed as back in stock and ready to order.

Outstanding customer service. Ordered a retirement gift with a short turnaround and they couldn’t have been more helpful and even sent it out that day. It went astray with the delivery company so to the make the deadline they sent out another by a different delivery company. Lovely product and great customer service. Will definitely use again and would highly recommend.

Amazing company, order a few things over the last few months and it always came fast and the items were amazing quality, won't hesitate to buy from them again

I’ve been waiting a 6 days for a claimed in stock order to arrive with 5-7 days delivery. I needed the item within 9 days of ordering so I rang up to find out the progress. The phone handler was polite and apologetic but let me know they weren’t holding any stock of the item I ordered so it won’t be getting sent out to me. Had I known I would have sourced the item elsewhere but I won’t have it in time now.

They are running low on staff as a result of coronavirus hence the 2 star review instead of one star. However it’s bad practice that the item isn’t in stock to start with when the website claims it is. It’s possible several people ordered at the similar time wiping the stock out.

They could have emailed me to let me know straight away which isn’t much to expect for a £140 item. I won’t be using them again. My advice is to only use them if you don’t require a reliable turn around time. They sell quality gear for reasonable prices shame really.

Great customer Service and very quick delivery. These were the cheapest for my Camelbak bottle. The item arrived very quickly. Unfortunately on opening for Christmas they had sent the wrong one. I emailed them and they replied in hours with an apology stating they had dispatched the correct one and a prepaid postage note for the return.
Everyone makes mistakes but it is how they are dealt with that matters. Military direct sent a replacement without waiting to receive the return so they get my vote.
Definitely recommended.
