So far so good in terms of being a new still learning to get along with them type client at this stage. Prior to signing up with them I was ignored while contacting them via their direct e-mail per their own website. I got back onto them still without response and no acknowledgement - never. I hoped for better service once signed up which is the case via secure messaging. However, there was nothing secure nor overly private to stop them communicating over general queries I say again, after all it shows in big writing offering support via e-mail. One response was kind of robotic and failed to have read my short message properly. Can't yet comment on ongoing capability for providing hard or efficient copies for tax or that end of it etc. time will tell. However, I did research and based on reputation I went with them so far okay.

Emma treated me as a friend and was very helpful. She picked up my call quickly and provided the information I needed in a professional way. I felt assured that she was an expert in her job.

Went into the Market Harborough branch to open a 160 day Notice Account on behalf of my elderly father, using POA. Claire could not have been more helpful during what is quite a complex process. She set me at ease, made sure I was comfortable and completed everything in a timely and professional manner. Whilst waiting I was able to hear Jen in the background greeting customers with warmth and care … you can tell these ladies know their customers and give the kind of service and experience we know we can expect from MHBS. Amazing, I rang up quite stressed that I couldn’t find the customer number. And the lady on the phone was very very helpful. Stayed on the phone whilst my password was reset, and was in my account in less than 5 minutes

Called for confirmation of balance on a new account. Spoke to Emma who was very helpful, polite and professional.

When they send an email saying "we would like feed back on your transaction " dated two days ago, when the transaction was 4 weeks ago, causes panic. When you send emails put the date the transaction happed on the communication.

Visited the Rothwell branch. Jane was extremely helpful and resolved a number of my questions without fuss. Clear and easy to follow explanations. Thank you.

There was no lengthy wait to speak to someone. I explained my problem and Emma understood immediately what I was talking about and was able to reassure me that it could be sorted out very easily. She advised me to send a secure message to set out in writing what my issue was and layer I the same afternoon I received a reply confirming that money I had sent by mistake to the wrong account was returned to my bank.
In summary; a very helpful and knowledgeable response setting my mind at rest quickly. Couldn't have asked for better.
