I am having fun testing out demo trading with the EAST vs WEST competition accounts on GooeyTrade and the sign up process if very smooth. I was also part of the mentorship for a while and found it very informative and thus branched off to refine my own strategy after learning the course content.

I noticed Anton you reply here so I was wondering if the funded accounts from Mentfunding support TradingView integration? Personally I would prefer to trade directly on TDV if its a possibility. Thank you

here's my case

I recently participated in your trading competition and finished with a return of +13.50%. During the competition I had only four open positions: one losing trade (−$965.25) and three profitable trades. My maximum lot size was 2.2, and I did not use any prohibited strategies such as Martingale, averaging down, or single high-risk “one-shot” trades.

When I checked the leaderboard, my account was marked as disqualified. This is the second time this has happened to me; on a previous occasion I was ranked #2 on the leaderboard and was also disqualified without a clear explanation.

According to the published leaderboard eligibility rules, traders must meet all of the following criteria to appear on the leaderboard:

At least 3 losing trades

Loss rate ≥ 10%

Max single-trade profit: $10,000 (exceeding this results in disqualification)

Equity drawdown ≥ 1% (largest drop from high to next low)

Profit factor between 1 and 10

Given that I had only one losing trade in this competition, I understand that I may not have met the “at least 3 losing trades” requirement. However, I would appreciate a more detailed explanation of which specific criteria my account failed to meet in both instances, and whether there is any way to view these metrics (number of losing trades, loss rate, max single-trade profit, equity drawdown, and profit factor) for my competition account.

i want to say the rules are dumb af cause i have a pretty good winrate so why would i need to lose 3 times if im competing ???

This firm is the best firm ever, constantly making adjustments for their clients. They are very communicative and if you have an issue with the platform they will solve it and communicate with you

Well, I have only had experiences with the competitions. The competitions are the best in the prop firm industry, they encourage professional trading approach than gambling. They reward a more professional approach and it's open to anyone, I mean I am from Nigeria and I won evaluation, I thank Jesus but yeah the firm is really good and they banned 700 folk permanently from working with them. That's a sign that they are after integrity than traders cash. They attract the right kind of traders which is sustainable for the firm in the long term. Also payout hasn't been an issue in fact I know that even if you breach your account rules you can still withdrawal profits. So they are one of the best in the industry.

But let me tell you something and make this very clear for all of those who are still unsure about mentfunding, I breach my account a month ago, and I still received my payment ( without any problem, "but's", nor complains,) . They review my account and proceed accordingly.

The best prop firm on the market. I have had very negative experiences with other ones that are basically a Ponzi scheme. Ment is harder for a reason - because they care about the integrity of the trader being paid 100% of the time!
