From first contact with Medi Makeovers everything was organised. All you have to worry about is making sure you get on your flight. Dani & the team are wonderful, nothing is to much trouble if you questions. I highly recommend, best decision I made.

In November 2024, I traveled to Bangkok with Medi Makeovers to undergo dental treatment. My stay was at the luxurious Grand Central Terminal 21, a 5-star hotel conveniently located within walking distance of the dental clinic via the sky bridge.

As someone who typically feels anxious about dental visits, I was impressed by the outstanding support from the Medi Makeovers team and the exceptional care provided by the dentist and their staff. Despite having very sensitive teeth, I experienced no discomfort during the procedures, which was a huge relief.

During my initial consultation, the dentist thoroughly explained all available options, and I chose to proceed with veneers. Over the next few days, I attended the clinic for a professional clean and scale, followed by the in-house creation and application of my veneers. The most challenging part was selecting the perfect shade of white! The results are incredible—I can’t stop smiling.

A heartfelt thank you to Medi Makeovers for their guidance and for introducing me to such an exceptional dental team in Bangkok. I also had the opportunity to meet Dr. T, a renowned reconstructive plastic surgeon, during my trip. With direct flights from Brisbane to Bangkok now available for just $165, I am planning to return in the new year to explore a potential procedure to help me age gracefully.

I had my sleeve gastrectomy in Bangkok in October 2024, it was an absolutely amazing experience and using Medi Makeover made everything so much easier. I travelled with my travel buddy who was included in the price (amazing in itself). On arrival in Thailand we were chauffeured to the hotel on arrival as we had a dental appointment prior to my surgery (also organised through Medi Makeover) - the dentist was amazing everything was explained and then dental work and dental plan were all explained. We were transferred to the hospital in preparation for my surgery, we meet an amazing team of nurses and my amazing surgeon. I experienced zero pain – no gas pain at all!. After a short hospital stay, we were driven back to the hotel where we could shop and sit at Terminal 21 (the Hotel is attached to the shopping centre so air conditioning all the time) I can't recommend this experience enough. This is the best decision I've ever made for me and my family.

Having previously travelled with 2 other companies for surgery I can hands down recommend the team at Medi Makeovers. Every single thing was taken care of from first Enquiry to now I’m home. Nothing has ever been too much and I have always felt supported where needed. Istanbul was a beautiful place to travel and the accommodations and hospitals and team on the ground there were nothing short of fabulous!

I contacted Dani to enquire about having a gastric sleeve in Bangkok, Thailand. At first the doctor refused my surgery because or other surgery complications. But with persistence and more questions and tests, the surgery was approved. I had a Zoom call with the surgeon and Dani, and all my questions were answered. Surgery date booked, medical travel insurance paid for, flights booked and away we went. My Mum was my support person, and she was allowed to stay with me in the hospital room for the four nights. Back at the beautiful 5 star Grand Centre Point Hotel at Terminal 21, which is attached to a 8 level shopping centre, we lived in luxury. I had to say 3 weeks in Bangkok due to previous surgery complications, and that was a great time to fully recover. We also stayed at the Sacha’s Hotel Uno which is only a few doors up from The Grand. This was very nice and comfortable hotel. A big thank you to Dani for organising this hotel with very short notice. At the Sikarin Hospital I could not ask for better treatment. I had an English/Thai translator with me at all times for my appointments. When I was in hospital, I had a Filipino nurse who was amazing. She was caring, compassionate, friendly and genuine. All the hospital staff from nurses, doctors, catering and cleaning were wonderful. Thank you again to Dani and Julie Ann for all your support and information on places to visit and shop. If you want an affordable option with a little holiday from a very reputable company, then I suggest you contact Dani & Julie Ann from Medi Makeovers. You won’t regret it.

I had my sleeve gastrectomy in Turkey 27 days ago, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment I stepped out of Istanbul airport, I was treated like royalty. I was chauffeured to my hotel and then to all my appointments, meeting the incredible team of nurses and my surgeon along the way. Remarkably, I experienced zero pain – none at all. After three days in a private hospital room, I was driven back to my hotel where I enjoyed lounging by the pool in the shade. The seamless care continued until I was driven back to the airport for my journey home. I can't recommend this experience enough. I have a Zoom call this week with my dietician and surgeon to check on my recovery, and I genuinely believe this surgery is the best decision I've ever made for my health.

Absolutely amazing experience. Highly recommend. Once I arrived I did not have to think about a thing. Everything was highly organise and I felt very VIP. The hospital experience seriously puts Australia to shame. Doctor was amazing and an absolute perfectionist. I had my own private nurse who was there in an instant when I needed anything. I received regular pain relief as soon as I needed it without having to beg for it. The staff at both the hospital and the hotel were incredibly kind and went over and above at every point. My nurse at the hotel was a wonderful lady who again went beyond all expectations. She was available well and truly after hours and helped with way more than surgery after care. Danielle and Julie Anne were there to answer questions at the drop of a hat. There is not a single thing that I could criticise or suggest as an improvement.

I finally made the very difficult decision to have some plastic surgery mid to late last year and after doing my research, settled on this one, went to Bangkok at the end of March, 2023 and am so very glad I did.
Daniela supported me every step of the way, (she's still there almost 3 months later when I have the odd question or just asks me how I'm getting on) and was even in Bangkok the day I arrived and showed me all over the hotel and shopping centre, giving me all sorts of tips for my stay at Terminal 21. We also had a few 'outings' together (in air con!) while I was there.
I can't say enough about how great Dr Teerapat is. He's quite magical :) and I trust him totally. The scars are healing quickly and aren't noticeable at all.
I love that Medi Makeovers is a more intimate company and that I didn't go on a 'makeover tour' with many others, as so many other companies are.

Well where do I begin.. after several months of planning, saving and becoming very well informed, a close family member and I went to Bangkok for surgery through Medi Makeovers. Everything from beginning to end was so professionally and compassionately managed. Our pre surgery, surgery and post surgery experience was flawless. Dr Teerapat is so professional and sincere, not to mention talented!
We chose the Grande Centre Terminal 21 and we loved it, very comfortable apartments with beautifully natured staff. The mall was a life saver! Highly recommend the food court, the thai and vietnamese stalls my favourite.
Unfortunately my family member become very unwell with a totally out of the blue and unrelated illness. I contacted Dani and she not only orchestrated the care she needed but stayed on the phone with me until necessary. The level of extra care was outstanding and at no point did we feel anything was a problem. In the end after an extended trip due to the unexpected illness our level of care did not cease or even reduce. Dani stayed in touch and organized everything we needed, still is even 2 months later asking how we're going.
As a business owner myself I understand that you need to shine when the unexpected happens, I'm so impressed by Dani and her team and I can't recommend Medi Makeovers highly enough, don't go anywhere else! Now we move forward with our wonderful newness!

I had an exceptional experience with Medi Makeovers. All details were very well organised and communicated making it a very smooth experience from booking my surgery and continuing on now after arriving back in Australia. I travelled alone and hadn’t been to Thailand before but was very confident that I knew exactly what to expect and where to go once I landed based on the very clear information I had been given. My care and the facilities were wonderful. Dr Teerapat is a very skilled surgeon, I was very happy with how I was listened to, communicated with and the recommendations that were made. The results that I have are even better than I had hoped and I am so impressed with the incisions and how my wounds are healing, they are incredibly neat! My experience of recovering in Thailand really was amazing! The accomodation was absolutely beautiful and so many of the small details just made for the best recovery, it really was the perfect location. I found Dani extremely helpful, friendly and she was always available to answer any questions - before, during and after my surgery. Which is a great reassurance especially when staying overseas post surgery away from family.

Dr Teerapat and all of the team - especially nurse Kelly all have the highest standard of professionalism. They are fantastic, helpful and kind people. Dr Teerapat gives a very honest opinion and advice on what is truely achievable for the individual, and he explains everything. He is an extremely talented, professional and kind person which really makes the whole experience - (especially if anyone is as nervous as I was!)

The hotel was a beautiful, clean place to recover with friendly staff and in a very good location.
