Double charges
I had the FLU and started looking for a Urgent Care that would accept our new insurance. We called several and finally Medilife told us that they accept our insurance. I was feeling horrible with the Flu but we drove 1 hour to see a doctor at Medilife Healthcare. They were very nice and helped me. Later on came the BILL with several procedures charged twice, three and four times (the same procedures and same code for it), also was charged for fuel to the lab for each test, when the tests were taken at once. I called them and from $852.45 the bill went down to $371.50, but looking again I notice 3 charges for 1 injection (same procedure, same code). Called 4 times to have the bill reviewed and finally got to talk to someone. She told me that my insurance wasn't in their network that's why I was charged. I drove 1 hour so I could see a doctor that was in my network and then find our later that it wasn't in our network.
