My experience with Maya was amazing. At first I was a bit skeptic about having surgery outside my country but when I got in touch with the Maya staff I knew I was making the right choice. Besides the amazing price for the package Maya provided me with the best experience I could ever ask for a plastic surgery. I didn’t have to worry about transportation because they provide a VIP transfer, they put you in a luxurious hotel and a beautiful hospital with really good nurses. My coordinator Melisa was always available, kind and caring, she made me feel calm before and after my surgery, answering all my questions and comforting me when I felt anxious before the surgery. The nurse Havva took care of me at the hotel and made all the instructions about medication and drugs clear. The women at Maya are really wonderful, they are capable to make a bond with you.
I can’t find a single thing to criticise, the results are amazing, the staff was available and qualified, the hotel and the hospital just stunning. I’m recommending Maya to all my friends so I can go back to see Melisa and the staff as soon as possible!

I really wanted to share my experience with anyone who’s thinking of using Maya Medical for their cosmetic surgery, from the very beginning I was treated with respect dignity and nothing was ever too much. I was met with professionalism wisdom knowledge and skills. yagmur is just so sweet and puts you at ease with transfers hospital paperwork and ensures your entire stay is comfortable.
Dr Ugur is unbelievably skilled with his art and helps you achieve your goals while being respectful and realistic. His patients and knowledge is second to none and I have chosen him for my last two surgeries which great ease and comfort. His skills don’t stop at surgery he goes above and beyond before during and after proving that nothing is ever too much. I can’t thank him enough: my little havva where do I begin with my after care nurse, her ability to keep your spirits high during discomfort is commendable, he knowledge of cosmetic surgery procedures and after care requirements really are what make your recovery and experience smooth. After care for surgery is vital and Havva plays a key role in all that you have and do after surgery and even when you’re home. I know I can access Havva and she will always be there to help and guide me. Maya you are amazing and I thank you,

I have recently returned home from having rhinoplasty and breast augmentation with Maya Medical.
Maya medical arranged everything so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. The whole process was seamless from beginning to end. Havva the nurse is the most incredible woman. Her care for patients is outstanding.

From the start maya exceeded my expectations. After having surgery done 10 years ago in the uk I was unsure what to expect but the service was way above what I received here previously. Dilara was very helpful and answered any questions I had prior to my surgery. Yagmur and Melissa dealt with us whilst we were in turkey and we’re both so lovely, they checked in on us constantly. I had Dr Kir is ho I would highly recommend he knows what he is doing and wants to make sure you get the best results possible. The hotel we stayed in after we were discharged was beautiful and nurse Havva what can I say! She was absolutely amazing! She even came to do our last massage at 4am before our flight home and has been a constant source of help and information since returning home. I’m now 3 weeks post op and my results are really starting to show. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for surgery anymore. Maya and the team were fantastic

I can’t put into worlds how amazing this clinic is! Made me feel so comfortable and at ease as this was my first ever surgery! The amazing Dr Ugur has truly changed my life for the better, and the most amazing nurse Havva always there when I need her to make sure I was okay even now I’m back home. After researching many different companies for the uplift and reduction surgery that I have always wanted, I made the big decision to go with Maya Medical. When I say this was one of the best decisions I have ever made, I mean it!
They were fast at responding to any questions I had, which instantly made me feel comfortable. Even after I paid the deposit, they kept in regular contact.
I arrived at Istanbul airport and advised them that I had arrived, they told me where to go for my covid test and had a luxury transport ready for me and my companion.
We arrived at the hotel which was beautiful and were welcomed with warm cookies. The results to my covid test came more or less straight away so don't worry about that.
The rooms were large and comfortable and I was informed of my pick up time for the hospital upon arrival.
I got to the hospital and things happened very quickly but everyone there was so lovely and reassuring! I met with my surgeon Dr Ugar Horoz who easily could have taken more money from me as I wanted implants too, he assured me that this wouldn't be needed as I had enough muscle tissue to get the same results without. Shortly after, I was taken into surgery where I was extremely nervous and he could see this but he was so calming and before I knew it, I was waking up from surgery with my lifted and reduced breasts!
I was regularly checked on by the staff and provided with plenty of pain relief, they really could not do enough for you.
The next day I was discharged and returned to the hotel. I had daily checks with nurse Havar who again was just the best! She helped me take my first shower and drove us to our final check up with Dr Ugar Horoz.
Since returning home, I have been in regular contact with Havar and she replies instantly, she also provided all the medication for me and reserve medication/creams just incase.

I HONESTLY CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH!

After a lot of research and speaking to multiple companies I decided to go with Maya Medical for breast augmentation surgery at the beginning of feb. I am so so happy I made the decision to go with Maya, I can't fault a single thing. From the initial booking to arriving in Turkey. Everything was so easy and simple. I travelled alone, so I was very nervous but nurse Havva reassured me and was there every step of the way. She is amazing! Any questions i had, she answered straight away, she came to see me multiple times after surgery and is still checking on me now. I am so happy with my results, i can't believe how tiny the scars are just after 2.5 weeks. If you are thinking about booking, do it.

I only 3 week post surgery I couldn’t ask for better to off gone the nurse I had helping after was so lovely she a superstar

I went to Istanbul to do my breast uplift with implants. I was very anxious about it. Maya was in touch with me during the hole process. starting with the accommodation at the hotel, which was all very clean and luxurious. On the day of the surgery, they came to pick me up to do the preoperative exams and everything went well. always accompanied by an assistant who spoke English. after the surgery I had a complication with the right side of my breast due to a circulation problem.
It was a very traumatic moment but I received a lot of support from the team, especially from nurse Havva who accompanied me throughout the extra treatment process, wound care and after my return to the UK.
I can say that although mine was not the most common case, I received a lot of support from the team before, during and after my surgery.
All medications, transport to the hyperbaric chamber and daily visit to take care of postoperative dressings were provided.
I highly recommend the clinic.

I was initially very sceptical about having surgery in a foreign country and travelling alone, but Dilara, Yagmur and Nurse Havva made the experience exceptional. All my questions that I had before and after surgery were answered promptly and professionally. They provided me with excellent care and made me feel as if I was a member of their family.

I was also treated to a coffee at the shopping centre across from the hotel with Yagmur during the week. I also had a shopping trip and breakfast with Dilara and Nurse Havva on my final day. It was an incredible experience from beginning to end.

My experience with Maya Medical was amazing. I went for a breast lift and augmentation with them. I felt informed the whole way through the consultation phase, and they could not have taken better care of me during the surgery and post op phase.

Dr Ugur Horoz, Nurse Havva and all the staff I crossed paths with were so friendly, and made me feel really comfortable. They have stayed in contact whilst I have been recovering and have answered all of my questions without hesitation. I am so pleased with the results of my surgery, and would honestly recommend using Maya Medical.

I am two weeks post breast augmentation (uplift & implants) so I can’t give a full review on my results but my overall experience so far has been amazing.

Booking: I found it really easy to book through WhatsApp and the team were really friendly. They also weren’t pushy and allowed you time to consider dates/ procedures and were more than happy to answer questions. Before you pay your deposit they will tell you your surgeon so you can do your own research.

Hotel: The Hilton I stayed at was a great hotel and the staff were very accommodating.

Transfers: Everything was planned for me and everything was on time. It was great not having to worry about booking taxis etc as this can be hard in Istanbul.

Surgery and recovery:

My patient co-ordinator Yagmur was so friendly and was extremely helpful and answered all the questions I had. Yagmur checked that I was ok whilst I was at the hospital/ hotel and since I’ve been back home.

The nurses at the hospital were great. There is a language barrier so I would suggest having a translation app on your phone. Even though there was a language barrier they checked up on me a lot and came immediately if you called for them.

Nurse Hava has been amazing so far. She has answered all of my questions and been very reassuring. She’s visits you when you are back at your hotel to make sure everything is ok and you can reach out to her anytime on WhatsApp. When you return home you send photos/ updates to make sure you are healing ok.

My surgeon was Dr Ugur Horoz. He is very relaxed and helpful when you ask questions. I was a lot more nervous than I thought I would be before the surgery and Dr Horoz was so reassuring when I went for surgery. I have taken off my dressings and I am very impressed with my scars so far, they are far less obvious than what I imagined and I think this is down to the surgeon’s skill. If I have any surgery in the future I would definitely book with Dr Horoz. His private clinic is also really nice, I travelled there for my post surgery checks before I flew home.

Overall I have been really impressed with Maya medical and I’m looking forward to seeing my full results in the next few months 😊

My experience with Maya was absolutely brilliant I had breast augmentation with them and it was my first surgery and I was scared as i didn't know what to expect they made me feel so comfortable every time I would message them they got back to me straight away I had many conversations with other clinics and surgeons and I did not feel comfortable with any until I came across maya, they take care of everything all I had to do was book the flights and don't get me started with my nurse, Havva she absolutely brilliant she came to my hotel, many of times to check up on me, contacted me every day to make sure I'm okay, overall amazing experience, I thank maya for making me feel good about my self again as I would cry looking in the mirror, know I can put a bikini on and feel great.

May medical has been fantastic! Dilara was my first point of contact; she answered all my questions regarding the surgery, its cost, and travel; nothing was too much for her, and she always got back to me, no matter what time I messaged her.

Once I landed in Istanbul, the collection from the airport to the hospital was very well organized, and I was taken straight to the private hospital to meet Yagmar, my patient coordinator. She was lovely. She stayed with me while I went for my pre-op tests and made sure I was comfortable in my hospital room, ready for surgery the next morning.

Surgery Day!! I had Dr. Koray Kir as my surgeon, and he was just brilliant. I was feeling nervous, but he has a very calming nature, which put me at ease from the start. He fully explained what was going to happen and answered all my and my friend’s questions.

After surgery, I totally underestimated how hard my recovery was going to be! The nurses were brilliant; there was a slight language barrier, but the few that couldn’t speak English had Google Translate ready on their phones which made things alot easier.

On the fourth day, I met Havva, my nurse, who took us to the hotel. She is just amazing; I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her! She visited me every day until it was time to fly home. And it didn’t stop there; she has stayed in contact with me since I have been home. Each week, she has texted to see how I am getting on and even recommended who I book in with locally for my post-op massages!

I would 100% recommend these to anyone thinking of having surgery abroad! It was definitely worth all the pain! I absolutely love the results!
