Definitely mixed review front seat vs back seat
My husband and I were lucky enough to sit up front in the helicopter and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My husband said it made his vacation!! But my parents were in the backseat (my dad was in one of the middle seats) and said he really had very limited view of the flight. So a very mixed bag - big 5 stars for those of us in the front seat but unfortunately 0 stars from my dad's middle seat. It was dumb luck we ended up where we did (weight distribution decision) so not something you can really plan in advance for, but something to consider when putting this much money down for an excursion.

We’re glad you enjoyed your experience in the front seat and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. It’s wonderful to hear that the flight made your husband’s vacation so memorable. At the same time, we’re sorry to hear that your father was disappointed by the limited view from the middle seat. Passenger seating is determined by weight distribution to ensure the safety and balance of the aircraft, so we’re unable to guarantee specific seating arrangements. For guests who prefer to select their seating, private flights are available. Thank you again for sharing your experience and for choosing Maverick Helicopters!

Amazing flight for Molokai Voyage
We had an amazing flight (Molokai Voyage) with our pilot Ethan. We were concerned because it was a little rainy and windy. But we had a smooth ride and the clouds and intermittent rain/sun made for some great photos and lots of rainbows in addition to the beauty of the landscape. Our one drawback was that even at full volume, it was very hard to hear the pilot speak through the headphones, especially with music piped through at the same time. I’d recommend no music.

We are glad you enjoyed your experience flying over the beautiful landscape and seeing so many rainbows despite the windy weather. We appreciate your positive feedback about the smooth ride and the stunning views. We also take your comments regarding the audio quality very seriously. It is important to us that our guests can clearly hear the commentary, and we will look into adjusting the balance between the background music and the microphone volume to improve this for future flights. Thank you for sharing your journey with us.

Jared the pilot was a consummate professional. He balanced narrating the flight with allowing the scenery to speak for itself. Excellent company. Excellent experience.

I loved my helicopter tour! I had a front row seat and it was great. My only critique was I wish there was meet & greet time with the pilot. I wanted to ask more questions but everything seemed rushed.

Our pilot was great, had a good music playlist for our trip to and from the canyon. Took the time to thoroughly explain the safety requirements and make sure everyone was comfortable. Explained what we were flying over and some fun facts about the area. Great trip!
